Even though the howl was quite fearsome, he couldn't divert his attention from his enemy, or else he might miss.
The player standing in front of him was preparing to dodge his attack. Sadly, his wish didn't become a reality.
"You will not escape!" Myles roared, his voice carrying seriousness.
Myles successfully slashed his chest area by 180 degrees. It left a big wound on him and blood started to come out like water coming out from a broken dam.
The player let out a scream of pain and collapsed on the ground. His body began to dissipate into countless small fragments.

Myles ignored the notification flashing in his retina. He stared at the place where the player was for a few seconds. There was a gun, some magazines, and a pouch of gold in the place. However, he didn't look at it for too long.
Myles turned his attention towards the source of the howl. A sense of fear descended upon him when he determined the source of the howl, causing him to halt his charge when he saw the beast standing not far away from them.
Everyone's attention who was present was drawn towards the source of the howl.
Three beasts who bore resemblance to a wolf stood before them. The beasts had complete black fur, sharp and pointy claws, and fangs. The beasts stared at them like a prey waiting to be hunted.
What was worse is that these beasts were probably as or if not stronger than the beast he had met prior!!
"The beasts were probably attracted due to the sound our battle was making.
Fighting them is the same as dying; I need to think of a way to escape," Myles thought to himself in a dilemma.
Just as he was about to take his next course of action, a powerful howl resounded through his ears.
"Howl Howl!!!" The beast let out a powerful roar simultaneously.
The pack of wolves charged towards him and his enemies at an incredible speed. One Wolf charged towards him while the other two wolves charged towards his enemies. It seemed like they had no intention of letting anyone escape alive.
He diverted his attention towards his enemies and saw that they were running.
His mind began to race as he started to think of a way to escape. As for running?
What a joke, he could never outrun the beast!
"Running from the beast is not an option," Myles thought to himself
A few seconds of thoughtful thinking later, he got a brilliant idea. He stared at the loots of the player which was lying in front of him
"I need to pick that gun," Myles thought to himself.
He attached his sword to his waist since it was not needed for him to execute his plan
He shook his head and quickly picked up the gun and other items. He threw the pouch of gold in his inventory not sparing a second glance at it or the notification flashing in his retina.
He held his shield in his left hand and his gun in his right hand.
He didn't have much time to inspect the gun. He just checked the magazine.
"It's full of ammunition," Myles thought to himself as he loaded the magazine back.
He looked at the beast charging towards him. It was less than a few meters away from him!! Knowing that he needed to act quickly, Myles diverted his attention towards his enemies. He saw that they were far from leaving his sight. He couldn't help but grin when he saw this
"Time to execute my plan," Myles thought to himself.
He began to aim his shield towards the other player. He threw his shield towards the players with all the strength he could muster. Although the shield was traveling at a slow speed. It was enough for his purpose.
A few seconds later, he opened fire on his shield and a rain of bullets descended upon his shield.
Although his aim was very bad, around 45 percent of his bullets collided with his shield producing a loud metallic sound that resounded through the entire place. This sound far exceeded the firing sound.
The beast charging towards him halted his steps and stared at the shield.
"My plan has worked! I can escape using that opportunity," Myles thought to himself.
His plan was simple: all he wanted to do was to divert the attention of the beast by using the sound of bullets colliding with his shield. As for why he threw his shield towards the other player?
It was simple, he wanted the beast to vent his anger on the player after it found it was baited by him! Even though it wasn't worth the risk of going after them, he didn't want to make their life too easy!
Nonetheless, Myles made full use of the opportunity. He quickly made his way toward the tree and dense bushes to hide himself. He had reached the tree in a matter of seconds.
"I should take out my sword first," Myles thought to himself.
He stored his gun in his inventory and took out his sword. He climbed one of the trees and started to jump from one branch to another.
As he was charging towards safety, he saw the beast walking towards the shield he had drawn away to divert the beast's attention. He couldn't help but feel a bit regretful for leaving the shields behind.
"It sucks but it was worth it." Myles thought to himself.
Myles got over this very soon. He continued jumping from one tree to another, he didn't plan to look behind anymore.
He didn't care if his enemies were killed by the beast or not. All he cared about was reaching the kingdom safely. However, it would probably be better if the beast managed to kill those players.
A few minutes later when he felt like he was far enough, he halted his steps and started to determine the north direction.
"The Eldoria Kingdom is in that direction," Myles mumbled as he pointed in a certain direction.
He charged in that direction as fast as he could, intending to get to safety as quickly as possible.
