Chapter 18 - 18

Kurama did not want to talk to the troublesome little Uzumaki girl. Just having to sense her weird aura everyday is bothersome, let alone trying to figure her out. It doesn't understand how, but the girl standing not too far in front of it has the same inexhaustible chakra trait that all tailed beasts share.

"Woah! Your aura is intense Kyuubi!" Kushina exclaimed. Inwardly she was very excited to meet the legendary Nine-Tailed Fox Kurama!

She and Mito were inside Mito's sealed space which Kurama is sealed in.

"What do you want, human?" Kurama snarled hatefully.

Feeling the fox's hatred leaking, Mito frowned. "Kyuubi! Control your hatred!"

"Leave it be Mito, it's hatred has no effect on me." Kushina said.

Mito was surprised to hear this, she knew how intense the hatred within the fox is. Kurama, however, was not surprised at all.

"As for what I want, I want to make a deal with you." Kushina told the fox.

"A deal? What could you possibly offer me, human brat!" Kurama roared in anger, wanting nothing more than to maimed through both Uzumaki women.

"Your freedom." Kushina calmly stated.

Her words caused Mito and Kurama to both freeze, gazing at Kushina in pure shock.

"Kushina?! What are you saying?!" Mito exclaimed. How could she want to free the tailed beast?

Kurama was also curious.

"Mito, do you know that the Tailed Beasts, the powerful and dangerous 9 beasts that are feared by many, are actually the children of the Sage of Six Paths himself?" Kushina casually revealed.

Mito's eyes widened in shock while Kurama raged.

"HUMAN! HOW DO YOU KNOW SUCH INFORMATION!" Kurama demanded.

"Trust me, I know many things that most don't. Am I going to tell you how? No, why should I?" Kushina shrugged.

She continued. "Anyways, the tailed beasts aren't just savage, unintelligent chakra monsters as I'm sure you know. Each of them have names, starting from the One-Tailed Shukaku, Two-Tails Matatabi, Three-Tails Isobu, Four-Tails Son Gokū, Five-Tails Kokuō, Six-Tails Saiken, Seven-Tails Lucky Seven Chōmei, Eight-Tails Gyūki and lastly but certainly not least. The big bad fox who it's also by far the most powerful of its siblings, Nine-Tails Kurama."

From there on she explained the history of the ten-tails, Hagoromo, Hamura, Indra, Ashura and Kaguya.

Kurama honestly couldn't believe how Kushina knew all of this information.

"So long story short, the Nine-Tails is simply a major portion of Kaguya's chakra split apart and given life from Hagoromo's Creation Of All Thing ability. Currently, I'm the only one in the whole world who can use it outside of the Sage's roaming spirit." Kushina finished her long explanation.

Because of its ability to turn fantasy into reality. Logically speaking, the Creation Of All Things ability should allow her to change a three tomoe Sharingan into a Mangekyo. She should be able to turn a Byakugan into a Tenseigan. Truthfully she should be able to use this ability to bypass the normal methods of certain things. It's possible she can grant Kakashi the Sharingan, he would be able to use it without the excessive drain of chakra as well as being able to deactivate it. Not only that but it would become hereditary for Kakashi's future children to inherit.

It dawned on her again on just how powerful she can make Konoha.

Remember, Kushina has her own ten-tails that has a chakra capacity that far exceeds the original. If she wanted to, she could create her own set of jinchuuriki for Konoha without any consequence to herself. Well, outside of needing minor chakra recovery.

"Heh, so you already know how to wield senjutsu huh? That's the only way you would be able to use that technique." Kurama grumbled in annoyance.

It didn't doubt any of her words, she knew too much and she had no reason to lie.

"Yep." Kushina nodded.

"I don't care anymore, speak of this deal of yours, child." Kurama said.

"You should know of my ability to travel between dimensions right? If you agree to leave all of your chakra to Mito, I will free you, replenish all of your chakra and send you to another dimension where you won't be bothered by anyone except for myself. You will have your complete freedom." Kushina revealed her deal.

Mito was surprised but then realized this wasn't a bad idea at all for either parties involved.

Kurama also was thinking hard, this was its opportunity to gain its freedom back. It knew very well of Kushina's outrageous RinneSharingan ability. It didn't even entertain the thought of getting revenge since he knew Kushina had multiple methods of subduing it. Kurama also it's certain Kushina has no qualms facing it in battle to defeat it.

"Why are you willing to set me free? Don't you humans fear us tailed beasts for the danger we present to the world?" Kurama was curious, Kushina was different from others. Not one time did she look at Kurama with fear or as if it was just an angry beast to serve as a chakra battery for shinobi.

"Humans do, yes, but I'm not a normal human. You should know humans fear what they don't understand, sometimes this fear can turn into both hatred and greed. Plus I know your story to a certain degree. The Sage of Six Paths intended for you nine to not only prevent the resurrection of the ten-tails, but to maintain and balance peace. Hashirama also had similar intentions, unfortunately he did not think of the tailed beasts as sentient individuals with their own thoughts and feelings. Instead he forcefully captured you and like a fool gave them to the other villages in hopes of achieving peace. He essentially gave his enemies nuclear weapons to use against Konoha after his death. No offense to you Mito, as much as I respect him, Hashirama was truly a fool in this instance. He not only made Konoha's enemies stronger but he also weakened Konoha in fire power by giving away the tailed beasts. As a leader, he failed Konoha horribly with his decision. I honestly have no idea how he convinced you or Tobirama to go along with such a foolish idea." Kushina unapologetically berated Hashirama.

Seriously, Hashirama had nothing but their other kages' word and maybe some payment as he embarrassingly bowed his head in asking them to accept nuclear weapons that can be eventually used against Konoha, for 20 years of temporary peace.

Surprisingly Mito had nothing to say in defense of her late husband. Even she herself often wondered back then what made Hashirama come to such a decision. What was to stop the other villages from going back on their agreement after his death?

Kurama, on the other hand, was laughing gleefully. It wasn't everyday someone called the legendary, all powerful Hashirama Senju a foolish failure.

Maybe, just maybe it can get along with Kushina.

"Human, I accept your deal!" Kurama agreed.
