Kyne and Tundra ran to the opposite direction from where they were previously gone to, and began jumping ontop of the building's roof, they moved from one house to another, looking down at any narrow road that could potentially be a hiding place for someone, as they kept jumping from one another...
"Kyne, what did you see back there?" - Tundra
"I saw a girl, she bumped into me, and when i took a glance at her, she was wearing a robe that covers her whole body, her face is also covered with a hood, so i thought-" - Kyne
"Watch out." - Kyne
He warned Tundra as they were running onto a tower, causing them to split and joined together again not long after.
"So, as i was saying, she looks very suspicious, and i was trying to stop her and asks her a couple questions, but when i turned around, she disappeared." - Kyne
"What? Really?" - Tundra
"Yeah and like- Wait stop." - Kyne
They both stopped at one of the houses and looked down, there's a dark alleyway below, and coincidentally they also saw a person wearing a robe and a hood.
"Is that her?" - Tundra whispered
"Who knows.. We can't see their face from up here." - Kyne whispered back
'Mmm.. We're quite far from the original location where i missed that girl.. Did she moved at the same speed as us?' - Kyne thought.
The mysterious person below didn't look up into the sky even though Kyne and Tundra surely thought that they made quite a loud sound when they were stopping at the building, perhaps they might annoy or scared whoever lived inside.
"Let's see if i can use it now.." - Kyne
He tried to use the detection spell, hoping that maybe 30 minutes had passed, but unfortunately it hasn't and the magic circle quickly disappeared without doing anything.
"Shit.." - Kyne
"Why don't we just approach that person." - Tundra
Kyne sighed.
"Alright, let's do that." - Kyne
They both fall into the ground, right behind the mysterious person, the person stopped walking as soon as they both land, but he doesn't turned back.
"Hello, do you have a minute to spare?" - Kyne
Kyne slowly approach the mysterious person while Tundra stayed still, watching from behind.
"Are you a citizen of this city?" - Kyne
There was no response from the person, Kyne keeps walking slowly, closening the gap between him and the person, he also cautiously held onto his sword just incase if the person infront of him tried to launch a sneak attack.
And surprisingly, he did, out of nowhere that person raised his palm towards Kyne and launched a fireball, its not small nor large, but it could've damage Kyne if he were to be hit directly.
Fortunately Kyne has already expecting this so in a quick response, he blocked the fireball with his sword, causing it to explode and creating wind that blows into every direction.
The wind were strong enough to launch Kyne's hat into the air, but what surprising is that the wind is also strong enough that it opened the mysterious person hood, revealing its face.
"Guhh!" - Kyne
'What the fuck, does fireball usually have this much power?' - Kyne thought
"!!.. Thats.." - Tundra
Kyne heard tundra in the back, from his voice it seems like he was surprised, he wondered what could made him feel that way, he looked to the front and saw the same girl that he had bumped into before, exact same face, exact same eye.
"You.." - Kyne
"Kyne! is that the girl that you were talking about earlier?!" - Tundra
"... Yes, yes it is.." - Kyne
Kyne held his sword as tight as he could and told Tundra.
"Pull your sword, there's gonna be some destruction soon." - Kyne
Tundra did as Kyne told him to and began preparing for combat aswell, the girl however, didn't seem to react at all, she just stood there emotionless, looking at them.
The three of them were stuck in a staredown.
"Who are you.." - Kyne
His question was left unanswered for a few seconds, but the girl eventually replied.
"I dont have a name" - ???
"But maybe, perhaps, you can call me None." - ???
"Is that so.. Alright, None.. Let me ask you this, could you give me an honest answer, what did you do 3 days prior, specifically at night.." - Kyne
"Hmm.. 3 days ago, at that time i just arrived at this place, and when night time comes, i thought it'll be fun to hunt some monsters since there will be no one in the forest.." - None
While she was talking, Kyne whispered to Tundra.
"Tundra, on my countdown.." - Kyne whispered.
Tundra nodded.
"But then, that night i found a group of humans that were lost, their torch is so bright that they can be seen from afar, and i just sorta, decided to kill them, that's all" - None
"1, Now!" - Kyne
Kyne and Tundra dashed at the same time, moving at a rapid speed, swinging their sword at None after she was done talking, they tried to stab her since swinging in a horizontal line is extremely limited due to the narrow alleyway, they thoght that her guard was down after all that talking, but it couldn't be more far from the truth, as None was able to easily dodge their attack by moving at a faster speed than them, making it seem like she teleported a couple meters away from Kyne and Tundra.
"Tch" - Kyne
The fight continues, Kyne and Tundra kept charging at None countless times, stabbing their sword in a perfect combination of teamwork, anyone that saw this the first time could easily conclude that these two guys have been friends or comrade for a very long time.
And yet, no matter how many times they swung their sword, None just kept dodging it all like air, its as if she was dancing in rhythm with the sword slash, all while her emotion keeps unchanged.
'What the fuck is this speed!..' - Kyne thought
'If sword didn't work, then.." - Kyne thought again.
"Tundra cast a barrier spell!" - Kyne
"Roger!" - Tundra
Tundra used a barrier spell at that moment and encaged himself inside the barrier, at the same time, Kyne was also casting another spell, an orange magic circle appeared from his palm, to which he slammed it down to the ground, creating lights that shone through the alleyway.
A few seconds later, explosion happened, it burned the nearby houses and caused a small earthquake that can be felt outside the main street.
'The houses is unfortunate but atleast that should've hit her..' - Kyne thought
"No no no, that's no good, you shouldn't burn down civilian houses like that.." - None
"Ugh!" - Kyne
"SHE IS UNSCATHED!?" - Tundra
Kyne and Tundra saw None flying into the sky, looking down on both of them without any injury, but her robe was caught on fire from the explosion, it starts out slow but quickly spread to all across her body, that's when Kyne and Tundra was shocked, because even when her robe is being burned, she didn't even flinch or react to it, her body is engulfed in flame, but her face remains cold.
"What... the fuck.." - Kyne
"She has fire immunity?!" - Tundra
Although her robe was burned down, her actual clothing inside the robe is strangely unaffected by the fire.
"May we meet again." - None
After that talk, she flew away from the scene and turned into a red fog that disappeared moments after.
"SHIT.." - Kyne
