With the emergence of The Underworld, the number of evil spirits across countless worlds has significantly decreased. These once-wandering souls now have their own designated realms, swallowed by dragon veins, which has drastically reduced the prevalence of grotesques and the fear they induced among the living. The once rampant ghosts and demons of the heavens and worlds have dwindled, alleviating the immense pressure on countless lives.
This dramatic shift has caught the attention of the Grotesque Doomsday.
"Damn that Chaos City Lord! Containing all these evil spirits in The Underworld is quite a feat," the Grotesque Doomsday grumbled, gnashing its teeth in frustration.
The Grotesque Doomsday had previously underestimated the Chaos City Lord's power. The method of opening The Underworld was revolutionary, effectively containing the evil spirits of infinite worlds in one fell swoop. Such a move was earth-shattering.
Without these evil spirits, the fear among sentient beings has diminished dramatically, leading to a reduction in grotesques. Yet, the Grotesque Doomsday remained undeterred.
"Hmph, this is merely a temporary measure. The general trend of fear among all living beings will not be stopped by this."
The number of grotesques continued to grow, and the Grotesque Doomsday remained confident that soon the heavens and myriad worlds would be overwhelmed by them.
Meanwhile, outside the chaotic realm, Furukawa's true body was deeply immersed in closed-door training within Chaos City, comprehending the laws of the Dao. His avatar, having traversed a considerable distance, finally arrived at the Origin Continent.
"Is this the Continent of Origin?" Furukawa's avatar marveled, his eyes gleaming with awe.
Before him stretched a vast continent, beyond imagination. It was so enormous that even with his divine sense, he could not perceive its end. It seemed boundless, far exceeding any universe in size.
The continent appeared to be the source of everything, brimming with the endless mysteries of the Dao and filled with rich chaotic energy and origin energy. It was clear that this continent harbored countless treasures, incomparable even to ordinary or chaotic universes.
**Whoosh, whoosh!**
Figures began to approach from a distance, varying in shape and form. They belonged to races from different universes and exuded powerful auras. All were at least Open Heaven Saints who had mastered 108 laws of the Dao. Thousands of such beings appeared.
In the chaotic universe, Open Heaven Saints were rare, but here, Furukawa saw thousands of them. This was expected given the vast number of universes.
"My God, is this the legendary Continent of Origin? After countless epochs, we have finally arrived!" an Open Heaven Saint exclaimed, unable to hide their excitement.
Not everyone had a wish Feng Shui compass like Furukawa's, which could pinpoint the Continent of Origin's location. Without such guidance, finding the continent in the chaotic void was nearly impossible. Many Saints had searched for eons, taking countless detours before finally being guided by a resident from the Origin Continent who presented them with the compass.
"Fellow Daoist, are you also new to the Origin Continent?" a group of Saints approached Furukawa enthusiastically.
"Yes, this is my first visit to the Origin Continent," Furukawa responded, sensing their friendly intentions. He admitted to being a newcomer, just having departed from his universe.
"It seems you are truly fortunate. To find the Continent of Origin on your first attempt is quite remarkable," a Saint said with emotion. "We spent an unknown amount of time searching the chaotic void before we managed to get here."
"Indeed, the Feng Shui compass was crucial to finding the continent," Furukawa agreed.
"Since we are all newcomers, why not travel together? It would be a mutual support," the Saint proposed. Thousands of Saints from various universes had banded together during their search, and now their numbers had swelled beyond a thousand.
"It would be an honor," Furukawa accepted, noting the safety and convenience of having companions in such an unfamiliar place. It would also help him blend in better.
**Whoosh, whoosh!**
With that, the thousands of Saints set off toward the Origin Continent. They soon arrived, only to be met by an overwhelming force as they entered the continent, instantly transported to a new location within it.
"Wow, the energy here is astonishing!" a Saint exclaimed as they materialized in an open space. "The speed of cultivation here must be at least tens of thousands of times faster than in my original universe."
The Origin Continent had proven itself to be everything they had hoped for and more, filled with boundless opportunities and untapped potential.
