Chapter 6 - World Announcement

Without hesitation, Qin Tian decided to check the Heavenly Soldier Camp first. The beast siege was nearing, and he needed to be prepared. Even though his Lord Crystal was invulnerable, performing well in the Novice Trial was crucial for standing out among his peers and also receiving great rewards.

"Now, how would I get down from this high up?" he mused to himself.

As if sensing his thoughts, the Ziwei Emperor Palace transmitted information to him. Teleportation was one of its abilities. As long as he was not in combat and within the coverage of the palace, he could teleport.

"Does the Ziwei Emperor Palace actually have a building spirit?" he wondered.

In Global Lords, some special buildings can give birth to a building spirit. A building spirit has the ability to think for itself, and also has the function of developing abilities that are not listed in the attribute menu of the building itself.

Qin Tian used the teleportation ability, and when he opened his eyes again, he was no longer in the grand throne room. Before him stretched the lush fields surrounding the Immortal Heart.

To the north of the Immortal Heart stood the Spirit Well. It looked ordinary at first glance but exuded an ancient and immortal aura, as if it had witnessed countless epochs.

To the northeast was the Spirit Farm. Its soil gleamed gold, and a thick white celestial fence surrounded it, brimming with an immortal essence.

To the south lay a massive square surrounded by rows of elegant pavilions, shrouded in mist and exuding a sense of secrecy. Wisps of immortal energy floated around, and above the grand archway, the words "Heavenly Soldier Camp" were inscribed in shimmering characters.

Seeing this, Qin Tian nodded in admiration. "As expected of a Mythical quality barracks. It looks far more impressive than the Spirit Farm and the Spirit Well. I hope the troops themselves will not disappoint me."

With high expectations, he entered the barracks. Despite its grand size, stretching 150 meters on each side, it felt empty and vast due to the fact that there was no inhabitants in it right now.

"Recruit 10 troops."

[Ding! You have recruited 10 Heavenly Soldiers (Mythical)]

A flash of white light filled the barracks, and ten Heavenly Soldiers appeared, clad in white silver armor with white spears in their right hands. (Imagine Cloud Knights in HSR)

"My Lord." the group of soldiers knelt in unison, their voices resonating with unwavering loyalty.

"You may rise," Qin Tian commanded, his tone firm yet kind. The group of soldiers stood up and silently looked at their master with reverence.

Qin Tian observed their information:

[Heavenly Soldier (Mythical)]

[Level: Qi Gathering I]

[Strength: 30]

[Agility: 30]

[Physique: 30]

[Spirit: 30]

"Thirty attribute points?!" Qin Tian exclaimed, stunned. As far as he knew, the starting attribute points for a Legendary troop were only around two. His Mythical troops had fifteen times that amount.

However, he quickly came back to his senses. "This must be the attribute of the Primordial Human Race, where they have 1000% more base attributes than others. This is too OP, no?"

Qin Tian also noticed that instead of levels, the soldiers had cultivation stages of Qi Gathering. As a traveler from the original Earth and an avid fan of Xianxia novels, of course he knew what these levels meant. "So levels 1-10 correspond to Qi Gathering 1-10. What about my own attributes? I haven't checked them yet. Could my troops be stronger than me?"

[Name: Qin Tian]

[Race: Primordial Human]

[Level: Qi Gathering I]

[Territory: Unnamed (Locked)]

[Talents: Immortal (Taboo), Music Immortal (Divine)]

[Spirit Coins: 300]

[Area: 29 kilometers]

[Villagers: 0]

[Heroes: None]

[Charm: 33]

[Luck: 39]

[Strength: 45]

[Agility: 39]

[Physique: 40]

[Spirit: 37]

"Damn! I'm flying," Qin Tian muttered. The attributes of a normal Lord typically ranged from 2-5, but his were ten times higher. This was the effect of being a Primordial Human.

"Even the rich second-generation geniuses can't compare, right? They might be spoon-fed elixirs from their parents who became Gods, but there's a limit. I doubt they could get more than 20 attribute points per stat."

His Spirit Coins and luck had also skyrocketed thanks to the boosts from the Ziwei Emperor Palace.

"My charm is only 33? So my base charm was only 3? Am I not that handsome enough for the system?" he joked, though his appearance—short middle-part wavy hair, clear skin, pointed nose, sword-like eyebrows, and pitch-black eyes—resembled a K-drama main character.

His level had also advanced to Qi Gathering I due to his [Immortal] talent. "Can my level rise quickly with the current Qi Gathering boosts I have?" he wondered.

With the combined effects of his buildings, his Qi Gathering Speed could reach an astonishing rate, allowing him to cultivate rapidly. His eyes lit up with excitement at the thought.

"All of you, follow me to the Spirit Well. I want to test something," he ordered.

"Yes, My Lord!" the soldiers responded in unison

They soon arrived at the Spirit Well. The ancient structure seemed to pulse with a faint glow, and an aura of timeless wisdom surrounded it.

Qin Tian dipped his hand into the well and drew out a handful of water. The liquid shimmered with a soft, golden light, exuding a pure, invigorating energy. He took a sip, feeling the Qi within him surge and harmonize with the energy of the well.

He then sat in a lotus position and began to draw the surrounding Qi to his dantian. The energy from the well seemed to merge seamlessly with his own, enhancing his cultivation speed. After a few seconds, a click could be heard within his body.

"Qi Gathering II!" Qin Tian's eyes opened wide with shock. "I broke through that fast after just a few seconds of meditating?! My idea was correct," he suddenly laughed, feeling a surge of pride.

"Soldiers, go and drink water from the well, then meditate," Qin Tian ordered. The soldiers, with unwavering obedience, drank the water from the well and sat in a lotus formation to meditate.

"Since there is still time before the beast siege, I'll use this opportunity to meditate further," Qin Tian decided, closing his eyes to focus on his cultivation once more.

After an hour or so has passed,

[Ding! You are the first Lord to hit level 10! The Lords Level Ranking is now opening…]

[Ding! You are the fastest Lord to hit level 10 in the Novice Trial in all ages, the Heavenly Dao System will announce your territory and your name to the whole world. Please name your territory!]

"What…?" Qin Tian was shocked by how fast his cultivation was progressing. He glanced at the soldiers near him and found that they were only at Qi Gathering V, not as high as him.

He quickly named his territory "Immortal Realm" because of his talent, but chose to hide his own name from the announcement.

[Ding! World Announcement: Lord [Hidden] of the Immortal Realm has achieved the miracle feat of becoming the first player to reach Level 10 in the Novice Trial of the Earth Human Domain with a time of 1 hour and 55 minutes. Due to this, he receives 100,000 reputation points, 100 million spirit coins, and a random Legendary item.]

In various corners of the Novice Trial Domain, ordinary lords were in disbelief.

"Monster…" one muttered, shaking his head in disbelief.

"How did this happen? The beast siege hasn't even started yet. Where did he get his experience points from?" another lord questioned, eyes wide with shock.

"Could it be a glitch in the system?" someone suggested, though they doubted it themselves.

"No way. This is not a game, how could there be a glitch. All I know is whoever this Lord is, he's playing on a whole different level."

The chatter continued, a mix of awe, jealousy, and frustration filling the air. Lords who had been confident in their own progress now felt a pang of inferiority.

At this moment, the God Council of the Supreme Human Federation was in an uproar. The Heavenly Diviner, an old man with flowing white robes and a long, silver beard, attempted to divine the identity of this mysterious Lord. He sat cross-legged in a vast hall filled with swirling mist, his eyes closed in deep concentration.

"Impossible," he muttered after a long silence. "I cannot pierce through the protective veil around him."

Another member of the council, a woman with eyes like shimmering stars, looked concerned. "This hasn't happened since the last inheritor of the Martial God. Could they be the same person…?"

The Heavenly Diviner nodded. "It must be. The Martial God's inheritor also couldn't be divined. We must keep a close watch on the Immortal Realm. He is the key to whether we can reuse the Ziwei Palace again."

"The frontline is looking grim right now. We need fresh blood, and most importantly, strategic items such as the Ziwei Palace that can turn the tide of war into our hands."

In a luxurious manor in the forest, the genius of the Ye Family, one of the strongest families in the Supreme Human Federation, sat in stunned silence. Ye Fan's usually calm demeanor was shaken, his eyes burning with envy and curiosity. He clenched his fists tightly, his knuckles turning white.

"How did he achieve this? Who is this Lord of the Immortal Realm?" Ye Fan muttered to himself, pacing back and forth in his room. The room was adorned with rare artifacts and treasures, yet none of them could distract him from the nagging sense of inadequacy gnawing at his heart.

A young woman entered the room, her presence like a calming breeze. "Ye Fan, what is troubling you?"

He turned to her, the hero given to him by his family in this Novice Trial through special means, frustration evident in his eyes. "This announcement… How could someone advance so quickly? It doesn't make sense."

She placed a gentle hand on his arm, her eyes filled with concern and determination. "You are the pride of the Ye Family, Ye Fan. Focus on your own cultivation. We will uncover the identity of this mysterious Lord soon enough. For now, concentrate on the incoming beast siege."

Ye Fan's gaze softened slightly, though the fire of ambition still burned in his eyes. "But how can I ignore this? Such an unprecedented feat... it's unheard of."

She smiled reassuringly. "I understand your frustration, but this is a long game. The Novice Trial is just the beginning. We have resources and artifacts provided by the family through special means. Use them wisely. Strengthen yourself and our territory. When the beast siege comes, we will seize the opportunity to rise and even replace the Lord of the Immortal Realm."

Ye Fan took a deep breath, nodding. "You're right. I need to stay focused. The artifacts and resources will give us an edge."

She continued, her voice firm. "Remember, the family has high expectations of you. The reputation and honor of the Ye Family rest on your shoulders. We will come back stronger from the beast siege, and then we will find out who this Lord is. Until then, every moment counts."

Ye Fan's determination solidified. "I won't let the family down. I will become stronger and prove that the Ye Family is unmatched."

She nodded approvingly. "That's the spirit. Focus on your cultivation and lead our territory to victory. The rest will follow."

Qin Tian's meditation was undisturbed by the chaos his achievement had caused across the world. He felt a surge of energy and enlightenment as he reached Qi Gathering II, but now it was time to take stock of his rewards. His eyes fluttered open, revealing a glint of excitement and curiosity.
