"Ai...Dracula " I murmured, unable to recognize my voice. I had to blink twice to be sure I wasn't overthinking things. I could feel something shifting in me, or someone.
'Mate,' Sky, my wolf, breathed out as if she had just woken up from the dead.
"We will go straight to the point. Our company, GC, will help you, but under one condition," He said, intertwining his fingers and relaxing in his seat.
His intense gaze bore into mine. How long had he known I was here?
"What...what condition?" I cleared my throat and took a deep breath, attempting to regain my composure and appear confident.
"Sorry, I'm late," A female voice chimed in as she rushed through the door. She was dressed in a suit that exposed most of her thighs.
"Right on time, darling," Dracula smiled at her, and she sat beside him. My wolf growled low, and goosebumps pricked across my skin.
'Not now, Sky!' I pleaded inwardly, urging her to stay calm.
"Enisa, meet my girlfriend and personal assistant, Alora," Dracula introduced, folding his arms. Alora stretched out her hand to shake mine, and though u hesitated, I shook it anyway.
"Now, to the terms, Miss Enisa Storm," Alora began, and I settled back in my seat, attempting to hide the fact that my hands were shaking.
"I believe you're a werewolf too, so I will be plain with the terms," She continued, smiling and focusing on the document in her hands. "You will be married to Lycan Dracula for a total of three months,"
"Lycan?" I couldn't help but blurt out, struggling to control myself. They both glanced at me with surprise
"Yes, Lycan, as in King of all the alphas," Alora explained, raising an eyebrow at me.
"I know what it means. I just...please carry on," I rolled my eyes, trying to regain my composure.
I was taken aback. How had Dracula become so powerful? From an Alpha to a Lycan? How had I not heard about this from the other alphas or Jacob?
"Within those three months, you both are free to do whatever. You can have other partners; all that matters is that legally, you are married," Alora concluded, closing the document to signify that was all.
"Do you have any questions, Miss Storm?" Alora tilted her head, waiting for my response.
"Are you okay with all these?" I raised an eyebrow, looking directly at Alora. "I mean, you're his girlfriend. Him being married to someone else doesn't affect you?"
She let out a forced chuckle. "I'm not sure what you mean, Miss Storm. But I know how to differentiate personal relationships from work, thank you very much,"
"You can leave now," Dracula said to her, and she nodded before exiting the shop.
"Is this deal a way to get me back to being your wife?" I folded my arms and faced him with anger in my eyes.
He cocked a brow at me before responding. "Are you on drugs?"
"Excuse you!."
"Where are my kids?" DDracula's eyes blazed with fury, as though he were about to unleash a hidden demon.
"What kids? I don't understand what you mean," I stammered, my heart dropping. I couldn't let him find out they were his. He should never find out. He would take them away from me.
"They are not you. You had a son, but he died during delivery. I slept with other men," I blurted out, the words tumbling out of my mouth without thinking.
"Oh, Well, see," He chuckled, a distorted sound that sent a shiver down my spine.
"About the conditions, I'll think about it and get back to you," I said, finally standing up. IG felt like I was suffocating, and I needed to be far away from the room, far away from him.
I began walking, but his voice halted me in my tracks. "You can try lying to yourself, Enisa. But you can never lie to me."

I lay on my bed, staring tiredly at the ceiling. It was already night, and the twins were asleep. I had a big decision to make tomorrow, one that would undoubtedly change my world for at least three months.
I picked up my phone and quickly dialed Jacob's number.
"Hello beauty," His voice came through the phone, but this time, I couldn't muster a playful response.
"Did you know about Dracula being the CEO of GC? And also a Lycan?"
"A what now?" He choked, and a bolt of coughing followed.
"But how wouldn't you know? I mean, all the alphas are your friends," I stood up from the bed and paced around the room.
"Yes, but I am not an alpha, so I don't attend their meetings. And it's fully confidential, so they don't tell me anything about it,'' He explained, and I took in a deep breath.
"What do you think I should do, Jacob?"
"I honestly don't know, Beauty. But I don't see you having any other option. You know how much your company means to you."
"You're right. Besides, it's just for three months. What could go wrong?"
"I mean, I could count on many things that could go wrong and...."
"Jacob...stop..this isn't funny," I sighed
"It might be hard, but don't worry, you've got this," I could feel him smile from the other end of the phone, and I ended the call
I took a deep breath as I typed a message, my fingers lingering on the send button. I read the content of my message for the tenth time.
