Enisa's POV
I snatched the towel closer to me and widened my eyes, surprised by his boldness and courage.
"Mr. Dracula. What are you doing in my room?" I asked, with a ragged breath.
He frowned for a second before moving his eyes up to me.
"Tsk tsk tsk." He said, clicking his tongue. "Don't you think it's rude to hide your body from your husband?" He asked with a hint of mischief boldly written on his face.
I wanted to scream at him to get out. I wanted him to disappear from my sight. But I knew it wouldn't be in my favor if I did anything rash. I smiled gently and held the towel wrapped around my body firmly.
"Can you please excuse me? I have to dress up for work. And besides, we aren't married as there was no wedding of any sort." I replied to him, hoping he'd take the hint and leave. Instead, he relaxed even more on the couch.
"I'll leave on one condition," He said and I involuntarily leaned forward. He smiled like he got me and I was irritated.
"What's the condition,'' I asked.
"You'll sleep in my room tonight," He said, searching my face for any sign of an answer.
"And what if I refuse?" I asked, keeping a straight face even though I was craving for his touch.
Silence engulfed the room for a long time as we both were stuck in an eye-staring contest. It seemed like a long time before I finally sighed in resignation.
"OK. I'll spend the night in your room. Just go already," I said in utter frustration.
He smiled wickedly before standing up and changing his persona in a split second.
"Get dressed. You have thirty minutes to meet me in the car downstairs," He simply said and before I could utter a word, he just left.
I sighed.
When am I going to get used to this side of him?
Once I entered the car, I was met with Alora.
"You're five minutes late," She said, obviously not pleased.
"Where's your boyfriend? I thought we were supposed to go together?" I asked, ignoring her remark on my lateness.
She rolled her eyes and looked at me with contempt. "He already left. You don't expect him to drive with you in the same car right?" She asked, her eyes looking at me mockingly as if scowling at me.
I rolled my eyes.
Typical Dracula.
Alora escorted me to the office that was supposed to be my office. It was more like an office in an office. I was in an office that looked like someone's office. I had my own glass office in that office. I guessed it was Dracula's office but kicked against it. I can't be in an office with Dracula. I don't want to be in the same space with him. It was going to be suffocating.
"This is going to your office for the main time. Don't get yourself into trouble,"
I rolled my eyes. What more trouble could I get than what I already was?
"Thank you, Alora, for your kindest tour of this prestigious office," I said, smirking.
As if getting the hint of me being sarcastic, she rolled her eyes and walked out of the office, leaving me alone.

I walked into her room, not knowing why I was even going there. One part of me wanted to check and see how she was fairing, but the other part of me just wanted to pretend like I didn't care. I was not supposed to feel remorse for what I did. She was at fault. She shouldn't have dared me. And dressing like a whore to dinner, what was that all about?
I walked into her room and it was empty. The only sound that was heard was the dropping of water from the shower. I sat down on her bed and glanced at the picture of the twins and her. It was obvious those were my kids but why was she determined to deny it was beyond me? Did she hate me that much not to want me close to my children? Well, I don't care. Sooner or later, I'll get my kids but for now, she needs to learn the lesson of leaving me.
I could hear her footsteps coming out of the bathroom. I smiled and relaxed more on the bed.
I didn't expect her to freak out that much, but she did anyway.

I left for the office after leaving her room. I initially wanted to drive with her, but I knew I wouldn't be able to control myself, thanks to my wolf. He wanted to grab her almost immediately.
"What is it?" I asked the caller, after picking up the call that was distracting me from driving.
"Oh, brother. That's no way to say hi to your brother who you haven't seen for long," He replied, ignoring the fact that his call didn't please me.
Jacob, am driving. If you have nothing else to say, then I'll hang up," I retorted harshly. It was hard to see me lose my cool, but Jacob always got a better part of that side of me.
We haven't been on good terms since he helped Enisa escape. I mean, he was my brother... Maybe my half-brother and he couldn't take my side? Besides, I wasn't going to hurt Enisa. That was after I found out she was my mate. He knew she was carrying my child and still decided to punish me by taking her away. Was that the price I got from not allowing him into my manor?
"Chill, man. I just want to talk to you," he began.
My nonchalant attitude could be felt from the way I was speaking. "We can talk later, Jacob."
"It is about Enisa," He began. I felt my hand clutch tightly to the steering as I parked.
"What about her?" I asked a feeling of unease washed over me.
"She might have a stalker. And it's pretty intense."
