Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Forging a World

Ye Xen, overwhelmed by the revelation of his godhood, struggled to contain the surge of power coursing through him. His anger, a mere spark compared to the universe's delicate balance, threatened to tear the fledgling creation apart. Heeding the system's warning, Ye Xen calmed his emotions, the red glow receding from his eyes, and the chaotic energy stabilizing.

"Alright, alright," Ye Xen sighed, the weight of responsibility settling on his newly divine shoulders. "So, I'm a god. Now what?"

The system, ever helpful, responded with a prompt: "Would you like to access the World Forge? (Y/N)"

Intrigued, Ye Xen confirmed. A holographic interface materialized before him, displaying a vast array of options – continents to shape, biomes to define, and celestial bodies to place. It was a creator's toolkit, limited only by his imagination.

Days, or perhaps what felt like days in this timeless realm, turned into weeks as Ye Xen meticulously crafted his world. Towering mountains scraped the heavens, while lush valleys cradled crystal-clear rivers. He sculpted deserts of wind-swept dunes and sprawling jungles teeming with vibrant life. With each creation, a sense of purpose bloomed within him.

But a world without life felt sterile. Ye Xen delved deeper into the World Forge, unlocking the intricate process of creating sentient beings. He envisioned humans, the familiar race he once belonged to, but with a diversity that transcended his past life. There would be humans with skin the color of sun-baked earth and eyes that glowed like molten gold, alongside others with hair the blue of twilight and skin pale as moonlight.

He wasn't limited to humans, of course. He crafted winged avians soaring through celestial skies, hulking reptilian creatures lumbering across the earth, and a race of intelligent, aquatic beings dwelling in the ocean depths. Each species possessed unique abilities and cultures, a testament to the burgeoning creativity within their god.

Yet, a nagging concern lingered. With a million years until the arrival of his Primordial Demon, Ye Xen craved companionship. He yearned for someone to share his creation, someone to witness the wonders he brought to life.

"System," he called out, a question forming in his mind. "Can I create another being like me?"

[Warning] the system responded in a monotone voice. [Creating another being with the same level of power as the host risks destabilizing the universe.]

Ye Xen frowned. Limitations. It seemed even a god wasn't without them. But perhaps there was another way. "Then can I create a lesser god?"

The system paused for a moment. [Confirmed. Limited god creation subroutine available.]

A wave of excitement washed over Ye Xen. Now, he could finally have someone to share his creation with, someone who could understand the burden and the joy of being a god. With renewed purpose, Ye Xen delved into the complex process of creating a lesser deity.
