"Hey Max, have you seen the news?" A voice said calling out to me in the distance. I turn around and see my friend.
"Hi Gaaro, no I haven't seen the news." I say to him.
"There was two people from our class that was found murdered in the woods!" Gaaro yelled in my ear.
"Oh really? Who was it?" I ask him while checking the time.
"Apparently it was Barbra and Jero." He replied to me. As soon as I heard Jero's name my eyes actually opened wide for once.
"Jero?" I asked Gaaro nervously.
"Yeah." As Gaaro answered me he realised I was upset.
Jero was my best friend, he was always there for me when I needed him and he never gave up on his dreams. He never left my side so that made it hard for me to believe what Gaaro was saying.
"Oh dude I'm sorry I shouldn't have brought it up." Gaaro said trying to comfort me.
"I refuse to believe he's gone!" I yelled at Gaaro and pushed him away and ran off right before school started. I didn't care if I skipped school because I was going to the murder area where the body's were found.
