Victor's pupils expanded widely, taking everything in with clarity unlike anything else. It took him a good minute to finally regain his composure and blink for the first time. Then, he squinted and pulled the piece of paper close to his face.
Yet, that didn't change anything, and the truth finally settled in his head. "I can read that?" He muttered.
Staring at the complicated runes at the bottom, Victor was certain that he could read them. He does not even just know how they're pronounced, he can understand perfectly what each word means too.
"Is this some kind of mistake?" Holding the paper tightly, Victor fell into deep thought. No matter how he looked at it, he should've not been able to understand what these runes meant. He had never seen them before and yet, he understood them perfectly as if he had mastered the language.
