Breathe in and out, in and out, in and out...At last, the Aloki raised its tentacles and let out a shriek that would have scared the very daylights out of anyone who isn't a conjurer or someone like me. Despite their feelings of fear, those soldiers did not wet their pants. Despite their weakness, the soldiers of the Seventh District are not that worthless.
The Aloki don't seem to care about them. His eyes grew brighter, that wrath is visible in those eyes, good, this is what I was after, I ran away far from the soldiers, as it says in the documents, the Aloki are vengeful beings that will leave behind fresh food that is stuck in order to exact revenge.
For most, the sight of a massive ball with enormous fangs and six pointed tentacles might be terrifying, but not for me, I was unique from the time I was born, I'm not like them.
Despite my bulk, I dashed through the debris at high speed, I was far more agile than humans, all I had to do was distance myself from those people sufficiently before the brawl broke out.
They hurried away out of fear, and only then did I pause and turned to take a closer look at the monster, I smiled subtly, and although I don't have a mirror on me, I can attest that my eyes turned green like the one in front of me, as they say, we are of one origin.
When the Aloki spotted me coming toward him, he threw of his tentacles at me several times, I had to break off my assault and leap back to dodge his onslaught, that tentacle's speed would make it hard to get close to him, I had no long-range weapon and was not a conjurer.... Sigh, this will not be as simple as I had anticipated.
Until one of those tentacles got close enough to me, I simply kept hopping away from them, then I grabbed onto it, pulling that tentacle tighter, I was about to toss the aloki like I had the last time, but it appeared to have learned, for two more tentacles were simultaneously moving in my direction.
I let go of the tentacle, but I did not have enough time to escape, the tentacle threw me with enough force to lift me several feet into the air, and it did not let me fall to the ground safely; instead one of his tentacles seized my legs, quickly whirling me around, and then threw me hard, sending me crashing into the ground.
Really vengeful creatures, as in the documents.
That strike hurt, really hurt, but it didn't kill me; the Aloki would need more than that to get rid of me, I leaped out of the impact-created hole, prepared for the rematch.
Randomly rushing will just result in more holes in the ground, I require a plan, The Aloki rely on two tentacles to stand, two for defense and two for attack, they have tough bodies that are difficult to penetrate, only from the look of their teeth can one know how tough and terrifying they are, fast tentacles that can penetrate the heart of the target before it can react, these invulnerable creatures were the enemies of humanity.
To destroy a single Aloki, the humans move in unison as a trained team of six. Aloki and I were the only ones in this debris, so I didn't have that luxury, besides, I didn't really need a team.
They refer to me as the "smudged man." My teeth possess the same sharpness as Aloki's, I have an enormous build, unstoppable strength, lightning speed, and an invincible body similar to that of Aloki, yes, I'm shorter than any Aloki, yet when I want to speak with the tallest human, I have to bend over, to be more exact, I resemble a cross between an aloki and a human.
So in order to defeat him, I must use what they lack a "brain." This empty arena was not a strategic place for fighting, it is better to change the battlefield, I ran avoiding those tentacles that shot out like bullets, according to the map, the shelter is close to this residential area in order to make it easier for citizens to reach it quickly in the event of an emergency such as this.
Most of the citizens went to the shelter so I could fight without fear of any human losses, I kept running until I reached a huge building; I wasn't allowed to go outside that's why I wasn't familiar with many stuff, but I think this building is one of those giant markets.
It was simple to enter because to the enormous hole in the building's wall, just like everything else in the city Everything was damaged by the earthquake, the scattered toys, food, clothing, and other items gave some color to the otherwise gray wreckage.
I sprang to the second floor and gazed at the Aloki, who was still on the first floor, I put my hand in my belt Grasping a black cylindrical object the size of my palm, this would be the first time I use it in a real fight, I gave the gadget two front-facing spins, a tiny sound was released, and then the gadget emitted an orange light, it formed immediately into light shaped like an axe.
I crouched behind a pillar, hiding from the aloki, the building's height gave me a strategic advantage, allowing me to hide behind pillars and depress the aloki couldn't see through object after all, I gripped my axe tightly, silently whispering to it, "Don't let me down," as I patiently waited for the perfect moment to strike.
I seized the moment as one of the tentacles slithered past the pillar I was hiding behind, raising my arm above my head, I lunged forward in a swift, powerful motion, swinging my axe with all my might, with a resounding chop, the blade sliced through the tentacle, slicing it off cleanly.
The aloki let out a mournful cry, its pain evident even from my concealed position on the second floor, however, it didn't take long before another tentacle was sent, approaching my hiding place, due to the aloki's weakened state from its excruciating injury, this attack lacked its full force, merely managing to crack the pillar I was taking cover behind.
Without hesitation, I rushed forwards and sliced through the next tentacle, I made no attempt to conceal myself this time, through the noise of the aloki's cries I moved quickly towards its main body.
My destination was the sphere-shaped creature who now had only four tentacles remaining.
The final show will start now.
