"Don't worry, Big Brother. Shani dev can't effect anything directly now," The voice belonged to Vibhishana, Ravana's younger brother, known for his wisdom and devotion to righteousness. He entered the chamber calmly, his presence bringing a sense of reassurance amidst the escalating tension.
"Vibhishana," Ravana acknowledged, his voice still carrying the edge of his earlier frustration. "Explain yourself."
Vibhishana bowed respectfully before his elder brother. "Shani Dev's escape is indeed concerning, but his influence is not as direct as it may seem. His role as the dispenser of karma operates within the natural order of the cosmos. He cannot intervene directly in our affairs unless provoked."
Ravana's expression softened slightly, his anger giving way to contemplation. "Then what do you propose we do, Vibhishana? Shani Dev's escape cannot be taken lightly."
Vibhishana approached the crib where Meghnad lay sleeping, his gaze tender as he looked upon the infant. "We must focus on safeguarding Meghnad's future and ensuring his upbringing is guided by wisdom and virtue. As long as we remain steadfast in our duties and righteous in our actions, the influence of Shani Dev will be mitigated."
Queen Mandodari listened intently, her heart resonating with Vibhishana's words. "You speak wisely, Vibhishana. Our son's destiny is shaped not only by celestial forces but also by the values we instill in him."
Ravana nodded, his mind working through the implications of Vibhishana's counsel. "Very well. We shall remain vigilant and ensure Meghnad's upbringing is rooted in strength, honor, and wisdom. His destiny will be forged by his actions and the guidance we provide."
Shurpanakha, who had been silently observing the exchange, stepped forward. "And what of Shani Dev? Should we not take measures to ensure he does not interfere with Meghnad's future?"
Vibhishana shook his head gently. "Shani Dev's role is to uphold justice and balance. If we maintain our integrity and act righteously, his influence will align with our efforts rather than oppose them."
Ravana's expression reflected a mix of determination and resolve. "Then let it be so. We shall focus on Meghnad's growth and ensure he is prepared for challenges that may come upon him in the future."
With a final glance at his son, Ravana turned to the assembled guards and attendants. "Double the security around the palace and remain vigilant. Ensure that no further lapses occur."
The guards bowed in acknowledgment, their expressions reflecting a renewed sense of duty.
"I will assign a personal guard in disguise of a maid to Meghnad, She will be in constant vigil," Vibhishana suggested, his voice carrying the weight of responsibility. "This will provide an added layer of protection without drawing undue attention."
Ravana nodded in agreement. "Make it so. We cannot afford to be complacent in these uncertain times."
As the guards and attendants dispersed to carry out their orders, the family gathered around the crib once more. Meghnad woke up due to Ravana's earlier shout but didn't make any noise as he opened his eyes, revealing a gaze that seemed almost preternaturally aware for a newborn.
"He looks so cute~" Shurpanakha exclaimed with delight, her voice filled with affection as she beheld her nephew's wide-eyed gaze.
"He does indeed," Mandodari agreed, her heart swelling with maternal pride. She gently lifted Meghnad from the crib, cradling him in her arms with a tender smile. "He will be the most handsome and courageous prince Lanka has ever seen."
Ravana looked at Meghnad with a rare softness in his eyes, a father's love mingling with the weight of his responsibilities. "Our son," he murmured, his voice filled with determination and pride. "May you grow to embody the greatness of our lineage."
Meghnad gazed up at his father, seemingly captivated by the presence of the strong figure before him. His small hand grasped Ravana's finger as if affirming a bond that transcended words.
Gasp~
"Look he is holding Big Brother's finger," Vibhishana observed, his voice filled with amazement.
Ravana's heart swelled with paternal pride as he felt Meghnad's tiny fingers wrap around his own. It was a moment of connection, a silent promise exchanged between father and son.
"He is strong," Ravana remarked softly, his gaze never leaving Meghnad's face. "Already showing resilience at such a young age."
Mandodari smiled warmly, her eyes sparkling with affection. "Indeed, he is," she agreed, her voice filled with maternal pride. "Meghnad has a spirit that will guide him through whatever challenges lie ahead."
Shurpanakha nodded enthusiastically, her admiration for her nephew evident. "He will grow to be as great as you, Big Brother," she declared with certainty, her voice ringing with conviction.
"No, He will be greater than I ever was," Ravana interrupted softly, his voice tinged with a mixture of pride and contemplation. He gently placed a hand on Meghnad's forehead, feeling a surge of paternal love and determination coursing through him.
"As the king of Lanka, I have faced many challenges and triumphs," Ravana continued, his gaze shifting between his family and the sleeping infant in Mandodari's arms. "But Meghnad... Meghnad will surpass even my greatest achievements."
"He will rule all three realms with wisdom and strength," Ravana proclaimed, his voice resonating with conviction. "His name shall echo through the ages as a beacon of courage and leadership."
Mandodari nodded in agreement, her eyes never leaving Meghnad's serene face. "Our son is destined for greatness," she murmured softly, her voice filled with maternal certainty.
As the family stood united around Meghnad's crib, the chamber seemed to hum with anticipation. The future of Lanka is intertwined with the life of this infant prince, whose birthmark symbolizes mystery and potential.
Outside the palace walls, amidst the bustling city of Lanka, the news of Meghnad's birth spread like wildfire. Citizens spoke in hushed tones of the unusual birthmark and the prophecies whispered by astrologers. Some saw it as a sign of divine favor, while others speculated on the challenges it might bring.
In the heavens above, celestial beings watched with keen interest, their eyes drawn to the unfolding destiny of Meghnad. Among them, Shani Dev observed silently, his expression inscrutable as he pondered the implications of his escape and the path ahead for the newborn prince.
Back in the Throne Room, Ravana and his family remained steadfast in their resolve. They knew that Meghnad's journey would be fraught with trials and tribulations, but they were determined to safeguard his future and nurture his potential.
And so, as the sun set over Lanka, casting golden hues across the kingdom, a new chapter began in the tale of Meghnad—the Roar of the Clouds—a prince destined to shape the destiny of his people and leave an indelible mark on history.

{Three Years Later}
[Meghnad's POV]
Ever since my reincarnation as Meghnad, life has been a journey of discovery and growth. The memories of my previous life as Indrajit, the boy who met Mahadev and was reborn as Meghnad, lingered like distant echoes. They surfaced in dreams and moments of introspection, reminding me of the complexities of fate and the weight of responsibility that came with my new life.
Sitting on the branch of the ancient tree in the royal garden, I gazed out at the sprawling grounds of Lanka. The sun's golden rays bathed everything in a warm glow, casting shadows that danced around me. Below, the gentle murmur of the fountain soothed my thoughts as I contemplated the path laid out before me.
People in my past life used to say that Ravana was a cruel king and a tyrant who brought suffering to many. Yet, as Meghnad, I've come to see a different side of my father. Ravana's love for Lanka and his determination to protect his family and kingdom are unwavering.
Mother is the sweetest one, her love for me is overwhelming for me who was an orphan in my past life and whose heart still carries the burden of past traumas. Her gentle touch and comforting presence have been my solace through difficult times.
My aunt Shurpanakha, Ravana's spirited younger sister, has been a constant source of encouragement and support. Her lively spirit and fierce loyalty to our family have made her presence a bright spot in my life. She often tells me stories of our ancestors, and legends of Lanka's glory, and instills in me a sense of pride in our lineage.
As I grow older, I find myself drawn to the tales of valor and wisdom shared by Vibhishana, my uncle. His calm demeanor and deep understanding of righteousness have been guiding lights in my journey. He teaches me the importance of balance, integrity, and the responsibilities that come with leadership.
In these three years, I was announced as the crown prince of Lanka, My studies in the Gurukul would be going to start when I turn eight years old where I would learn the arts of warfare, diplomacy, and governance. It is in the Gurukul that I will hone my skills and knowledge, preparing myself to one day lead our kingdom with wisdom and strength.
"Yuvraj! (Crown Prince)"
A shout broke me from my inner monologue as I saw a young maid standing at the bottom of the tree looking at me with a worried expression on her face.
"Yes?" I called down to her, wondering what could be amiss.
"What did I say for you to not climb trees it could be dangerous."
"Kavya, I am fine, Look I can even see for yourself," I told her as I got down from the branch and walked towards her.
"But still, I have to let your parents know about this," she said as she took me towards a resting chair next to a lamp hanging at the top of a chain that the trees Kavya had brought me up to.
"Hey! That's uncalled for," I protested, trying to reason with Kavya. She was always so protective, sometimes to the point of being overbearing.
"I'm sorry, Yuvraj," Kavya replied, her voice tinged with concern. "But I can't risk anything happening to you. You're the future king of Lanka, and everyone's counting on you."
I sighed, realizing that arguing with Kavya would get me nowhere. She was fiercely loyal and took her duties very seriously, especially when it came to my safety. "Alright, alright," I conceded with a small smile. "I promise I won't climb trees anymore, at least not without proper supervision."
Kavya nodded, her expression softening with relief. "Thank you, Yuvraj. Now, let's head back. It's almost time for you to have your dinner."
As we approached the palace gates, the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink. The palace guards greeted us respectfully as we entered, their vigilance a reminder of the security measures in place to protect me and my family.
Inside, the palace bustled with activity. Servants moved swiftly about their duties, preparing for the evening meal. The aroma of spiced dishes wafted through the air, tantalizing my senses and stirring my appetite.
In the grand dining hall, my parents, Father and Mother, awaited my return with smiles of affection. Father's presence commanded attention, his regal bearing softened by the warmth in his eyes as he looked upon me. Mother's gentle grace and unwavering support provided a comforting presence beside him.
"Welcome back, Meghnad," Father greeted me warmly, his voice filled with paternal pride. "Did you have a good time in the garden?"
I nodded, taking my place at the table beside my parents. "Yes, Father. The garden was peaceful, and the sunset was beautiful," I replied, my voice reflecting the tranquility I felt in that serene moment.
Mother placed a hand on mine, her touch reassuring. "You must be hungry, dear. Let's eat," she said softly, her gaze filled with maternal warmth.
