[Meghnad's POV]
"Are you blind or just too stupid to see what's right in front of you?" I said, my tone dripping with a mix of pity and amusement. I gestured to the Griffin beside me, its massive form towering over both of us. "Does this look like a creature that bows to weakness? It chose me—not out of fear, not out of control, but because it recognized strength that you'll never understand."
Kaal hesitated, his fury momentarily faltering as he took in the sight of the Griffin. Its piercing golden eyes were locked onto him, radiating an almost palpable disdain. The beast's wings twitched, and a low growl rumbled from its throat, as if daring him to make a move.
I stepped forward, my dragon-scaled hand glowing faintly with residual energy. The air between us was thick with tension, but I felt nothing but calm. The storm inside me had settled, leaving only clarity and purpose.
