Alora snapped out of her haze, she almost disclosed her intention to him. The amusing Crimson guard turned serious, his frigid gaze stiffened her insides and she knew that He was the loyal guard to his moon goddess. The way He chastised her, it assured her that He won't be easy to work with.
"I.. It's not my intention. Look, The Lycans kept my mother imprisoned over a small mistake years ago and I'm going to get her out of their clutches. That's why I needed him. I asked for his weakness so it would be easy for me to get his attention." She declared with the purpose of making him understand.
Crimson kept staring at her to detect her lies. He smelled the emotions in her tone about her mother but something was off about it. But He understood that his mate's mission was something more than just to Invade the Snow spell and He was hell sure that she wouldn't tell him that.
"He doesn't have any weakness except for his future fated mate which I highly doubt would be you. So if you wait for him to return and release your mother, you would only waste your time…Lora!"
There He went again. Spilling water on her all hopes. Crimson was deliberately closing all ways for her as He wanted to know her real motive because He was suspicious about her intention now. Moreover, How could He push his mate to another man when He was there?
"I get it. We should forget about the Lycan prince. But what can you do for me?" Alora sighed dejectedly and asked him with an innocent look. Crimson tilted his head at her. "What do you want me to do, Lora?" He asked, sensing that sneaky gaze of her. She had something else in her mind now.
"I heard you have different dimensions, the gift of shifter and can become anything and anyone." She asked with a new enthusiasm. Crimson frowned at that. So his little mate knew things. But where was she going with this?
"You heard the truth!" He nodded, encouraging her to continue. Alora nodded with a sigh of determination. She didn't know if He would agree to this but she was ready to take the risk. She needed to invade the kingdom anyhow, through any means even if she couldn't get the damn prince.
"So I guess that only you can help me now. I have an idea. Hitting two spots with one arrow. You have to help me to stay in the Snow Spell beside you for the next few months. And for that…."
She stepped forward, holding his gaze, "...you have to turn into the Lycan Prince, Erix Hartshorn."
As soon as she finished that line, Crimson's eyes twinkled and He couldn't help but break into a fit of laughter. The sound of his laugh echoed through the invisible snowy walls of the Lavender sky. Alora was stunned, first by his carefree deep throating laughter as if she let out a joke and secondly she felt the aura and atmosphere around her turned relaxed and pleasing for reasons unknown to her.
'Damn it…'
'Goddess!'
His wolves cursed loudly in their mind-link, adding an extra splash to his laugh. They also were stunned by this girl's idea.
"Today is really a day!" Star sighed.
Crimson nodded, He was super amused by her intelligent idea and He needed to give her an appreciative nod for this.
"You are something, you know! You want me to become the Lycan Prince? A prince?" He grinned again, getting back to his usual self. This girl, his mate, was playing with his mood today.
"I have never experienced this kind of humor and fun in the last few decades. But you, a little girl, just came out of nowhere to entertain me in this way." He chuckled. Alora rolled her eyes looking around.
"Why do you think That I would consider this idea by abandoning my duty as a guard, Lora? The guardianship to protect the Silent storm gates? Give me the rationale, please." He said before sobering up and leaning back on his chair, earning a scowled from her.
"As far as I heard you are known by the name of 'Crimson Shadow'. A shadow! Nobody ever saw you near the gates because you served as a shadow before the gates. So you can come with me to the Dynasty. Moreover, I believe you can manage for a few months." She said confidently. Crimson rubbed his jaws looking at her.
He definitely underestimated her. What she suggested was possible but it was a big risk on his part.
"And what will you do after then? Me taking you there as my fated mate and presenting myself as Prince Erix. Tsk! Do you think the King and Queen are fools? I am known to every Kind and their elders, Lora. The Moon goddess would find this. I can't be unfaithful toward her. And it would be treacherous for both of us. If they get to know about you, I won't be responsible for your extinction!"
He stated with a hand gesture like He doesn't give a damn. He wanted to see how far his mate could go to convince him.
"You can leave my safety in my hands only. I believe you're a powerful guardian so recognizing you would be difficult. About your goddess, I believe you are in need of the half-golden dagger as much as I need your help to save my mother. You have to make your way out of this!" She implied with a sharp response.
Crimson's electric orbs glimmered hearing the thing He wanted for years. His mate knocked him down with this now.
"You believe too much, Lora. I appreciate your blind trust in me." He teased her with a smirk.
"I trust in your powers, not you." She pointed out without any mirth. He shook his head.
"I Am made of my powers, Lora. There is no Crimson without his essence and powers just like there is no Alora without her witchcraft." Alora kept silent at his accurate point.
She cleared her throat and asked for the last time.
"So are you in, is it a deal?" She asked while raising her eyebrow at him.
'I never imagined such shrewd destruction would come to ruin you one day.' Star commented, reading his master's mind about what He was going to do.
'And that too with something He already has!' Sky sighed, responding to his buddy as if Crimson was not there. They knew the little secret of their master.
Crimson looked at his dear wolves before standing up and walking to her. Alora felt creepy and impatient as He came near. She felt like his powerful aura was robbing her of something. But she knew she had to put her trust in him for now.
He smirked before standing in front of her and then nodded slowly. "Three months, Alora Dragomir. You have only three months to get your mother out of their clutches."
Alora nodded, smiling in triumph. It was enough for her. She would fulfill her purpose in three months.
"Then, It's a deal, Mr Crimson Shadow!" She offered her hand to shake, binding the deal. Crimson looked down at her soft fingers before grabbing her hand and pulling her close to his warm body. Her breath hitched at his sudden pull.
"Let's take you to the snow spell dynasty, Dear Mate."
