So even if you don't like her,you at least feel something for her to act that way..,And I would love to see her too..Don't blow things with her alright,His mom said and went upstairs.
Now he thought about it,He did treat her different from his other employees,He smiled as he settled comfortably into the couch.

The morning sun cast into the room disturbing Emma who laid on the floor,she opened her eyes gently and as she sat up she felt her head aching badly.
She went into the shower to freshen up,got changed and went back into the room.
How did you get inside my room?, Emma asked furious as she saw Jake sitting on her bed.
I brought breakfast for you,He said lightly.
I'm not hungry,Emma said and arranged the bathrobe she held.
Look am sorry I lashed out yesterday..,it just bothered me that someone else dropped you home..
You don't have to apologize,look I only agreed to be with you to protect my mother.., apart from that you mean nothing to me,Emma said and grabbed her coat before leaving the room.
It was a Friday and instead of Emma to feel glad she felt worse because now she would be at home with Jake.
She went to work and coincidentally met Ryan as soon as she went into the company.

Did you sleep well?Ryan asked and Emma froze,she never expected him to to ask her such during working hours.

It was good,He replied and they got into the elevator,As soon as they reached their floor,She went into her office and so did he.
But Emma couldn't help but feel like he was acting weird,she dismissed the thought and continued her work..,She had a big project to defend tomorrow.
The day was going good..,then Ryan called her to his office.
As she entered..,He gestured for her to sit down.

Thank you..,She replied and as Ryan was about to talk a pretty woman in her early fifties entered the room.
She looked majestic though she was only putting on normal clothes,As she walked in Ryan got up and went close to her.
Mom..what are you doing here.
Is that how you welcome your mother,She said loud enough to Emma to hear.
Emma got up quickly and greeted her politely, She smikyat Emma and looked at her son before giving him a sign reading "Is she the one"..and he nodeed gently to avoid her from understanding what they were saying.
Oh you must be Emma,His mom said enthusiastic and Emma nodded buy wondered her she knew her name.
I've heard so much about...,she was cut short as Ryan said "You must be tired come sit".
The remaining hours she was there,Ryan feared his mom might say something weird to Emma and she would think he talks to his mom about her.
They two women seemed to hit it off instantly.. Ryan's mom grew really fond of Emma under few hours and it was surprising to Ryan.
She was ready to go so Ryan and Emma excurted her outside to meet the driver to take her home.
Just before she could enter the car.. someone unexpected came.
Babe..,the voice spoke wnd instantly recognizing the voice Emma froze as he walked up to her and planted a kiss on her cheek.
She wanted to immediately scrub it but they were in public.
Oh you must be Ryan,nice to meet you..,Jake extended his hand for a handshake and Ryan returned it.
Jake then focused his attention back to Emma.
I hope am not disturbing you from work..,I just got really worried you didn't eat since last night do I bought your favourite,Jake saud and handed her the takeaway which she couldn't reject now.

I'll go now I have business to attend to..,I'll come pick you up later.,He said and walked off to his car meanwhile Emma stood surrounded by awkward silence.
I'll see you at home Ryan..She said and looked at Emma nodding her head gently which Emma reciprocated.
As they watched the car leave..Emma was prepared for what Ryan would ask but he didn't ask anything but instead turned around and went back into the company.
Emma didn't know why but she flet kind of guilty..It wasn't that she lied to him about her not dating anyone..but the fact that she lied to him about Jake.
Should I go tell him maybe he can help me,Emma thought then shook her head.
She entered the company and felt eyes staring at her,she ignored them and went back to work.
