Isamu Takeda, a tall Japanese man with a long face and a calm yet firm expression, adjusted his kimono and haori with practiced grace. He had chosen his most refined attire for the occasion, a symbol of respect and intention. Invited by the Obarisiagbon Clan for a significant alliance, he arrived at the grand hall accompanied by his son, Shoto Takeda, and several high-ranking elders of the Takeda family. Shoto, a young man with sharp features and a quiet determination, mirrored his father's composure.
The banquet hall of the Obarisiagbon estate was a spectacle of elegance. Soft light from glowing Qi crystals illuminated the room, casting warm hues on the rich mahogany furniture and intricately woven tapestries that adorned the walls. The scent of roasted meat, spiced rice, and tropical fruits filled the air as servants moved gracefully between the tables, ensuring every guest was well attended.
At the head of the room, seated on a throne carved from ebony and adorned with gold, was King Obadele Obarisiagbon, his aura one of regal authority and quiet strength. The elders of the Obarisiagbon household sat at his sides, their expressions neutral but their presence commanding.
As the guests settled into the feast, King Obadele rose from his throne, his deep voice cutting through the murmur of conversation like a blade.
"Honored guests, members of the Takeda family, and allies gathered here today," he began, his gaze sweeping the room. "It is a rare and noble occasion when two houses, strong in their own right, come together in unity and purpose. The Obarisiagbon Clan and the Takeda family have long shared mutual respect and a desire for prosperity, and today marks the beginning of a bond that will strengthen both our legacies."
The room fell silent, all eyes on the king as he gestured toward Isamu Takeda.
Isamu stood, bowing respectfully. "King Obadele, it is an honor to be here, and I share your vision for unity. The Takeda family has always admired the Obarisiagbon Clan's strength and wisdom. It is with great joy that I propose a union—not only of our resources and ambitions but of our bloodlines."
The murmurs that followed were quickly stilled as Isamu continued, his voice steady. "My son, Shoto Takeda, will wed Princess Imani Obarisiagbon. Though she is not present, I have been assured of her virtues and strength, traits that reflect the greatness of your house. This marriage will signify the eternal alliance between our families, ensuring peace and mutual growth for generations to come."
King Obadele nodded solemnly. "Your words resonate deeply, Lord Isamu. I accept this proposal on behalf of my daughter, Princess Imani. Though her heart remains in service of our city and people on her expedition, I know she will rise to this union with the same grace and determination she applies to all challenges."
The room erupted in applause, the gathered families and allies cheering this monumental decision. The elders of both families exchanged nods of approval, and a servant brought forward a ceremonial scroll, which both Isamu and King Obadele signed to formalize the alliance.
As the banquet continued with renewed energy, Shoto Takeda remained calm but inwardly thoughtful. This marriage would not only bind two powerful families but also place him in proximity to the legendary Obarisiagbon Clan. His path, like Imani's, was now set on a course he had yet to fully understand—but he vowed to meet it with honor and strength, for his father and for his clan.
The Nzekwu family head, Ola Nzekwu knew that getting the throne wouldn't be an easy feat, and although he would have loved to take a short cut, he understood that a civil war with just his clan army against the obarisiagbon would not be favorable, especially now that the obarisiagbon clan has solidified an alliance with the Takeda clan. Ola Nzekwu knew he needed more man power. He didn't have the funds to hire assassins or nameless soldiers, he knew he had to form an alliance if his own. It would be difficult but not impossible he just had to find those with similar ambitions as him. No matter how good you are in this world there will always be those who would move against you, the same could be said about king Obadele Obarisiagbon. He was not the perfect king and had made his own fair share of mistakes, but He has done his best to lead the people of flaming bull City. But this also means he has his own share of enemies, some who are simply waiting for the right moment to strike, and right now with the weakening of the noble families within the royal circle, there could be no better convenient time to attack than now. But even with the motivation there still needs to be a little push, because even though he might be old, Obadele was still a powerful king and he commands the city military, to make him submit they are going to need even more military power and with an alliance... Well they can get things done.
With the event of the acknowledgement of Ogun, Obadele Obarisiagbon has put resources out to find out the person who received the acknowledgement, they would be a great asset to the clan and the royal family. Word has spread out that various rewards awaits the person when they step forward, full protection and training from the royal family along with a position on the Flaming Bull City council as.
This was an enticing price, and many wondered why the person had not stepped up yet.
Meanwhile Thanos and his team had abandoned the expedition, took princess Imani and the other explorers and where on their way out of the jungle like estate.
Thanos and the team were on their way back to Flaming Bull City, the Takedas prepared for their meeting with the Obarisiagbon clan,
The obarisiagbon clan were in preparation for the banquet and anticipating the alliance, while hoping for the acknowledged to present himself. Ola Nzekwu prepared for his own advancement to form an alliance with the Uwayah family.
