The trio, Xander, Na-ri, and Hana, along with the two new additions, Axel and Mia, made their way through the forest, trying to reach the tower before the mist hit.
"How much farther away is it?" Na-ri asked. The mist was now only 10 minutes away, bringing all kinds of beasts with it.
"It's not too far ahead. We should come up on a clearing here in a moment," Axel answered.
About five minutes later, the group of five came upon a large clearing that had a massive 40-meter tower, roughly 15 meters in diameter, with an opening at the bottom acting as a pavilion. Currently sitting in that pavilion was a pride of lions.
"Damn, I had hoped there wouldn't be any beasts here since we cleaned them out last time," Mia said.
"What's the radius that the mist won't enter?" Xander asked.
"The mist stops 50 meters in front of the tower, so even if our fight lasts longer than five minutes, we should be safe from the mist," Axel answered.
