When Xander took Na-Ri's hand, he placed the Mark of Qi on her and then let go. He then motioned over toward the girl, and Na-Ri nodded her head.
They began to slowly walk around the campfire until they could see the girl that was being tortured by the Demon and Devil.
Xander then motioned once again for Na-Ri to continue to walk to the left and get ready to attack.
Na-Ri did as he suggested, and once she had walked about 12 meters to the left and was about 17 meters away from the Demon and Devil, making sure to stay out of their Soul Sense range if they even bothered to use it, Xander readied two throwing knives. Then he phased Na-Ri back into the real world, and she ran forward, ready to attack the Demon which was the closest to her.
As she distracted both the Demon and Devil, Xander threw his two throwing knives. The throwing knives went completely unnoticed until he phased them into reality at the last moment, once it was too late for them to dodge, and hit them both in the neck, which caused them both to grab their necks in pain as they pulled out the Death-charged knives that took a large chunk of their necks out.
After that, Xander ran forward, phased his hand into reality as he marked the girl who was tied up, and phased her into the Mirage Realm. He then picked her up and carried her off about 20 meters, laid her down, and motioned for her to stay quiet and not move.
After leaving her in the Mirage Realm at a distance that would be hard for the enemy to find, he ran forward, joining Na-Ri in her attack against the Demon and Devil.

At this point, Na-Ri was taking on both the Demon and Devil, so she was on the back foot.
Seeing this, Xander, wanting to close the distance as fast as possible, started to let loose his throwing knives.
This time, however, the two were aware of a second enemy that could hide from their sight, so when he phased the knives into reality, they were prepared enough to make the knives either miss their mark and hit a non-lethal spot like the shoulder or miss entirely.
But this did the job Xander wanted it to. It kept them from completely teaming up on Na-Ri and killing her before he could join the fight.
Xander stayed in the Mirage Realm as he brought down his katana on the Devil that had its back toward him.
Just before his Death Qi-filled blade could land on the Devil, it phased into the shadows and was suddenly at Xander's back.
"F***!" Xander yelled, knowing the situation just took a turn for the worse.
As he dashed forward with 'Lightning Dash' to create distance from the Devil, the Devil lunged forward and planted its blade, which was covered in fire, deep into Xander's back.
"Ahhhhh!!" Xander yelled out in pain.
"Xander!" Na-Ri yelled, full of worry. She had her back to Xander but witnessed the entire thing through her Soul Sense.
Xander continued to dash forward with 'Lightning Dash,' finally creating distance from the Devil.
He clutched his stomach in pain. He expected there to be a ton of blood, but the fire that coated the Demon's blade cauterized the wound.
"Are you ok? Do you need me to heal you?" Na-Ri asked as she dashed to Xander's side, leaving the Demon and Devil to the north while they were positioned further south.
"Yea, thanks," Xander said as he himself started to use Lightning's 'Vital Spark' to start healing the wound as quickly as possible.
Na-Ri, knowing time was of the essence, dashed to his back and started to heal him with her sister's Life Energy, which healed him much faster than his Lightning did.
But sadly, the Demon and Devil weren't going to sit there and let Xander fully heal, so the process was stopped halfway as the Demon and Devil charged forward.
"Be careful of the Devil. His trait allows him to teleport into shadows," Xander said.
"Ok, and be careful of the Demon. I'm pretty sure his trait gives him an enormous amount of strength," Na-Ri answered back.
Once again, Xander dashed to the right as Na-Ri went left, the Devil and Demon each following one of them.
Xander was now face to face with the smiling Devil, who kept talking about how he couldn't wait to turn his fine skin into a rug.
Xander forced the whispered thoughts of the Devil out of his mind and focused on the fight.
He dashed forward with 'Lightning Dash' and brought down his blade covered with Death Qi's 'Wraith's Touch.' His katana and the Devil's fire-coated sword met head to head, and Xander wasn't surprised when he was slightly pushed back.
For one, the Devil was much larger than him, and two, he was also still injured in his back and abdominal area.
Xander continued to go back and forth with the Devil, neither one being able to come out as the clear winner.
Just as the stalemate was reaching its climax, the Devil once again slipped into the shadows, but this time Xander was ready. He followed him with his Soul Sense, never losing sight of him while he also slipped into his Mirage Realm and spun around, ready for the Devil's blind attack.
"Where are you… come on out…" the Devil started to whisper in a creepy voice. Xander realized that the Devil definitely couldn't tell exactly where he was, especially if he stayed perfectly still, so that's what he did.
He took a moment to gather himself while also healing his wound with 'Vital Spark.'
After healing his wound as good as he could in the moment without dragging out the fight, he stopped and made up his mind.
So he readied himself to attack and then turned to face the Demon that Na-Ri was fighting instead of his own tough-to-kill opponent that could just teleport into the shadow at a moment's notice.
