July's 27th of 2099 . Another shiny day , I woke up at 8:30 PM . Doing the usual things . Washing my face , brushing my teeth , eating my breakfast.
My name is Raye , I'm 17 years old high school student . I live with my parents and my little brother. I dream to be an astronaut or a pilot. I hate maths though ...
I've been living my whole life in this city called Itax , I'm planning to leave this city once . My friends have something else in mind. They want to stay in this city . Most likely everyone in my class says the same thing. I don't know why none of them want to travel the world. My family keeps praising this city and showing their love to it . Their patriotism is so much . And my friends have the same thing as well . It's not like I hate this city , but I want to see the world and one day I'll make my wish come true .
I planned with my friend David to go to climb the big tower in the middle of itax. It's so huge, both David and I wanted to climb and see the view from above the tower . And we felt its about damn time. So today we will be climbing the tower.
"So are you ready ? " - David said
"Let's go" - I replied
We walked up the stairs then climbed the tall ladder . We were fearless. Heights don't scare me . My friend Carla is so afraid of heights, she can't even look down from the window because of how afraid she's from heights .
I stepped on a broken rung , it broke and I fell. I screamed but David caught my hand .
"Are you OK? " - David asked
"Omg , yes thank you. This ladder is so aged . Hopefully it won't break and crumble" - I responded
After 2 hours we managed to reach the top . We finally stood and observed the view from above.
"It's so beautiful, look at how small this city is . It's so small from here . I can't see my home and the school. Can you spot them Raye? " -David said
He kept looking at the view , he was so astonished . When i didn't reply to him . He turned his head and noticed my face . My face was shocked , my eyes were widen as I was looking up the sky .
The view of the city from above was amazing , it was breathe taking. But that wasn't why I had these expressions on my face . It was the sky. It was afternoon so the sky should look blue . But it was black and had white lines coming towards the center of it .
"What's that ? " - I said shockingly.
David looked up the sky and said
" it's the sky . Why are you so surprised? "
" it's black and has white lines , can't you see them ?" - I replied panicking.
"What are you taking about? It's just a blue sky ! It's not black and there's no white lines"
-He responded
Can he really not see them ? Why I can but he can't?
I raised my phone and took a picture of it . It was just like how David said , blue sky ....
But how ?? And why ???
I didn't see the sky like that from down . How am I able to see it like this from above the tower ? And why only me ?
David can't see it . But I can ?
I raised my head and looked above . The sky kinda looked close ... I felt like I can reach it . Is the sky supposed to be reachable?
It looked like a roof , is it real ?
Only one way to find out .
I took off my shoes , David noticed me and said : " What are you doing? "
I threw the shoe with all my strange towards the sky . I don't know why , but I think it can be touched !!!
Suddenly, the shoe made a noise while flying up to the sky, it felt like it crushed something. It touched the sky ?????
Something stopped the shoe. It fell off .
" oh no , why did you do that ??? How are you going to find your shoe now ? " -David said as he was looking at the shoe falling .
Then he turned around and saw me completely shocked while I was looking at the sky .
" what happened? " He said .
The sky started ..... glitching ?
Just like the games , the glitch from the games . It happened to the sky!!!! How ?
Why is the sky glitching ?
Did the shoe damaged it ? Can the sky glitch because of a shoe ?????
I panicked while David was looking at me saying: " Are yo---? "
Then his voice stopped, I looked at him and screamed.
He glitched too !!!!! His face , his voice ...
How can a human act like this ?
Suddenly the town started glitching too .
The whole town I could see from above stopped and glitched .....
Am I in a dream ? What's happening? Why am I not glitching???
The glitching stopped and David continued his sentence as if nothing happened.
He didn't feel the glitch ? He didn't realize that ? . Why did I only see that ?
I threw a shoe at the sky that doesn't look like a sky when I reached the top of the tower .
The sky glitched when the shoe hit it . So did David , and the city !!!!
Somehow this sky is connected to the city and the livings in it.
But not me ...
How is that possible? Why I didn't about this ? Does anybody know about this ??
I have so many questions, I'm so terrified by these discoveries.
Could the world, the city I'm living in be not real ?
Am I in a game ?
That's the only explanation. This phenomenon doesn't exist in reality. I don't exist in reality.
