Divean grabbed her before she could fall and slowly knelt down with her in his arms.
"Please listen to me " he voiced.
She pushed him away sitting up , "I need to pack my stuff, leave before Alia wakes up so she won't cry when she sees me leave " trying to get up .
Divean pulled her back and tightly held her in his chest.
"I have never thought of hurting you ,since the day I laid eyes on you . Seeing you cry like this breaks me" he whispered.
She was trying to move but how hold was stronger.
"Yes I have been hiding something from you but it's not what you think it is, I would never touch another woman the way I do with you " he calmly said.
He felt her tears falling onto his shirt , his hand gently tapped her back .
"I didnt mean to hurt you this way ..I just didn't want to burden you with it " he explained.
"We are partners , we don't keep secrets from each other remember " she sniffed.
"I do and am sorry I did ,so please stop being mad "
She pulled away wiping her tears.
He softly pushed her hair behind her ear carrassing her blushed cheeks .
"Its about her , the one who took everything from you" he muttered .
Snow frowned ,"Who , Lydia?"
He nodded.
"I found out something and thought we may use it to turn them against each other " he explained.
"Huh..".
"The person I go to meet with is her and don't worry she hasn't done anything to me " he said noticing how Snow had changed expressions.
"She could barely keep her eyes from you the last time I saw her " she commented.
"I know and I got countless invitations from her to meet in private "
"What?!that shameless b*tch " cursed Snow.
Divean blinked.
"But so far she hasn't given me anything "
"Maybe your not doing it right " she let out.
"Huh?".
"She was my friend so I know alot about her ...well apart from her backstabbing me "
"You want to help ?" he asked.
"Seeing her being toyed with is something I would enjoy watching" she sniffed.
He chuckled.
"Alright ".
She sniffed gazing up at him.
"I know you did it for me but am still angry at you for hiding it and making me think like a crazy woman " she cried.
He took her hand and kissed it placing it on his left side of the face.
"Am glad you reacted that way, crazy woman " he voiced.
"What ?".
"If you didn't care about me then you wouldnt mind but you reacting that way only shown how much you do "
Snow's lashes fluttered.
"What are you saying " she looked away .
He laughed bringing her back to him .
"Constance do you have feelings for me ?" he asked.
She was silent avoiding eye contact but his hand shifted her face close to his. His breath by her lips ,moving over them like he would kiss her anytime.
She leaned in to trap his lips but he inched back.
"If you want me to kiss you,you need to answer me first " he instructed.
"Then don't " she sprung up heading to the bathroom.
She could hear him after her and increased her pace but he caught up and grabbed her by the waist.
Turning her he crashed her body into the bathroom door with his body.
"You say it first " she muttered.
"Say what?".
"How you feel about me " she said.
He breathed taking in her scent.
"How do I say it without sounding crazy and scaring you away " he murmured.
"Then show me " she whispered.
