Carol flinched back gazing at Snow who glared right back at her.
"I don't hear an answer, dear sister " she muttered.
"Shit up... you're not my sister. And Tom said it was foolproof that you would die so why are you here of all places" she yelled.
Snow smirked.
"Hmm, I don't know maybe to haunt you, after all, you just said you did kill me ".
Carol wiped her now-falling tears.
"I didn't, it wasn't entirely my plan. Tom helped with everything. He promised to get rid of you so I could finally take your place " she cried.
Snow blinked.
"Huh...." she laughed. "I guess you're that stupid but in case you haven't got the news, his married now to Lydia" she said.
"He still needs her for his plan but soon will dispose of her line you. Then I can take my place next to him".
Snow sighed.
"So it was him who kept stealing all my ideas and giving them to you?!"
"And so what he did, you don't have proof. And you can't do anything even if you're alive " she chuckled through her tears.
Snow moved back to her seat.
"Carol, have you forgotten so soon my position now? I can do anything with this new identity especially hurt you so badly and expose your dirty secrets "
Carol sniffed, "No you can't...for I will expose you first ".
Snow laughed.
"Alright go ahead, I can clear my name for I was set up while for you I don't think anything is in your favour".
Carol stood up and launched towards Snow, grabbing her neck.
"Then I will have to finally finish you off...I can't let anyone know about it. No one must know " she yelled her tears falling.
Snow struggled to push Carol off her but was too weak.
"Let....me g..go" she cried.
"You need to stay dead, it is the only way we all get what we want including my sister " She squeezed harder.
Snow fought back and after gathering her strength she was able to push Carol off.
She moved rushing to the door but Carol was first pushing her down.
Snow bumped her head onto the corner of her desk and passed out. Carol turned her to see the blood flowing from her forehead.
"You can't tell anyone, especially brother-in-law" she muttered.
....
When Snow opened her eyes she wasn't in her office anymore but in the elevator. Lifted on someone's huge shoulder.
She moved alerting them.
"You awake, great right on time " she heard Carol's voice.
The doors opened and they walked out. Snow felt her body being moved and dropped down.
She cried out in pain but realized her mouth was covered with a cloth and that they had moved her to the rooftop, her hands bonded together.
"You know I always hated you. Born in a rich family, pampered all your life. You were this rich, smart and elegant woman. I wanted to be like you so much I made sure I competed with you every chance I got ".
Snow gazed up at Carol who was looking down at her with a smile.
"Sister helped me but then we both realized that no matter how much we tried to make you look back someone always had your back, which was weird cause your husband or friend where "
Carol bent down touching Snow's bloody face.
"And do you know who it was....?" she chuckled.
Her phone rang and she looked down at it and smiled.
"Guess who, our guardian angel is calling " she laughed picking up.
Her tone of voice changed as she sweetly spoke on the phone.
"No, brother-in-law. I don't know where she is. I left her office a while ago " she said.
Snow murmured through her covered mouth but Carol just moved away.
"Maybe try checking somewhere else...she has been all over the place "
After she hung up Carol turned back to Snow.
"Guess he has always been your guardian angel...then and now " she muttered.
Snow frowned and Carol smiled.
"Well Tom failed to kill you so I guess I will for the both of us. I have no future with him as long as you exist. I need to get rid of you now before you say anything more to my brother-in-law" She stepped back.
The two men who had been standing behind her, one carrying Snow up and moving her to the edge of the rooftop.
While the other held her, the second one took off the binds from her hands and then mouth.
"Now you're going to jump to your death, it's the simple way for you to die. And here I can make sure you're dead" she laughed.
"You can't do this, I can't die right now " Snow yelled her body trembling in fear. She could see how tall that building was and she would not survive.
Carol laughed.
"You should have thought about that before you messed with me " she let out.
