When I opened my eyes everything was painful, I felt as if a thousand needles were being buried in my body, every time I moved it was as if they were pulling from my heart, I even felt a little dizzy and the light coming through the curtains bothered me.
As usual Lay was lying next to me while holding my arm, this time I was sure I hadn't fallen asleep with her, so she had to sneak in at night, but at least seeing her calm face lost in a world of dreams was reassuring for me, lately Lay has been having a hard time since we argued a while ago, all because of a silly thing, she almost died because of my carelessness, now her family may die and in case they are still alive they will be humiliated for life, add to that the fact that I basically sold her soul to Morrigan to prevent her from dying, something she doesn't know about.
