Quite a stir was caused by the disappearance of the Baron of Mons, of whom only the guards who were guarding him had been found dead, but no trace of the Baron.
In the end General Maxwell came to the conclusion that he had been kidnapped by the Irish, which suited me just fine for the time being.
We rested in the lands of the Baron of Mons where his son Claude, who had been left quite horrendous thanks to the wound that Roy had given him. He received us with a very good face, at least to the army, because when he saw Roy his face was disfigured, and I can swear that he looked much better like that.
It took us more than half a day to get the whole little axis to Mons castle, something that would normally take a couple of hours, moving so many people was slow, something I had to learn from for the future.
