I won't spoil anything about MC beforehand so trust me 'kay.

MC won't be a douche or aLpHa like Jacob, but a person who tries to weaponize sarcasm more. No looking at Bella sleeping in her bedroom. Also no leading Cullen's to do what is right and become a father figure to them.

No letting his enemies run away for plot convinience.

Twilight does not have much for plot so I cannot say that I will go for a different route when every route is same, unless I butcher character to extreme.
