Three months later
I hear a knock at the front door and go to answer it. I peek through the peephole and find Melvin holding a bouquet of flowers, standing on the other side.
He has been buying me flowers and chocolates for the past three months. He's been making a lot of effort to win back my approval following his actions toward Michelle.
I even told him that I had forgiven him a long time ago, but it doesn't seem like he's listening.
As I open the door, I throw myself into his embrace. "Are you ready to see the baby?"
He gives a nod. "I'm excited." "Do you believe we can know the gender?"
