I notice that my shirt has a red dot on it.
Oh, that's a joke. This marks the end of my life.
I am afraid.
That's all I'm experiencing right now. Even though I can't understand what's happening, it feels like my body is immobile.
When I looked out the window, I saw a man pointing the rifle in my direction.
There's a finger on the trigger.
"Everyone get down." Quinn shouts out.
As I continue to look at the man across the road holding his weapon, my phone falls to the ground.
Quinn will bring me down to the ground by putting his arms around me and tackling me when I do not move. He takes precautions to ensure that I do not land on my stomach, which would result in my entire body hitting the ground.
The bullet makes contact with the wall behind us.
Quinn gave me a jolt. "Katherine?"
"What's wrong with her?" Lydia approaches us.
