Upon entering the studio's parking lot, Melvin pulls his car into the lot. When he arrives, he locates a parking spot away from all the guests.
Melvin is greeted by a security guard who walks over to the car and comes out of the vehicle as he exits the vehicle.
Melvin opens my door, moving over to my side of the car and opening it. I grasp his hand. Against him, he pulls me tightly. "Cox, I want you to meet my fiancé, Katherine Walker."
Cox extends his hand to me, and I gently shake it. "It's nice to meet you." I hear him murmuring in my ear. "You're more beautiful than the other girl he brought her."
Melvin's eyes get more narrow. "I can't believe everyone wants to keep reminding me of my mistake."
I slap his chest. Your girlfriend selection could have gone better with everyone. Surprisingly, you managed to stay with her for such a long time.
Melvin maintains his silence. It is a sigh. "As soon as I think everything is normal between us, someone wants to bring up the mistake I made ten years ago."
My pupils become more dilated. "Our ten-year graduation is coming up, Melvin."
It is a laugh. It is true. I received a communication about it the previous week.
"Why didn't I get one?"
"It resides most likely in your location. We should stop by your building before we head home in the morning. "I have no doubt you have a significant amount of mail to sort through."
I completely and utterly forgot about the mail that might be piling up at my residence. The phrase "I forgot to have my mail forwarded to your place" means I hope there are no last notices on my power.
It is a laugh. "Don't worry about it. We should be able to figure that out by the end of the week.
Cox is currently seated in the buggy. "Come on, you two lovebirds. As Melvin zips his mouth, he closes his mouth and says, "I don't have all night to deliver you to the studio for the shooting of..."
Therefore, he still conceals the name of the film he is trying to make from me. Unfortunately, it will not be around for long when we enter the studio.
Cox takes us to the studio, and when the buggy pulls up in front of it, I spot his co-star with her family.
She comes over to approach me. "I'm Alicia Kenning."
"Katherine Walker."
She encircles me in a hug. "I am overjoyed to meet the woman who finally won his heart," he announces. I don't get to meet a fiancé who is okay with her guy making out with a lady all day long very often. It's not something that happens very usually.
I chuckle to myself. The fact that you are married and appear to be a faithful spouse is a positive sign. When you have your children and your husband coming to work with you all the time, it is difficult to be unfaithful.
Alicia gazes at her husband, and her eyes sparkle as she does so. She keeps her gaze fixed on him.
Please accept my condolences. My yelling is more painful than the bite.
He immediately leaned forward when I gave him a nudge in the tummy.
Complaining, "Ouch," he says. He inquires of me while lifting his shirt. "It is bruised."
When I look at it, I can see that the region where I elbowed him is a little bit red. "It's simply some red. If the shoot is necessary, you will be able to pass. People will see you as attractive.
Before the director instructs him and Alicia to stand in front of the fence they had constructed in the studio, he hurriedly kisses me.
As I watch, Melvin grabs her hand and looks at her. I am a witness to this.
Her eyes sparkle while she is looking at him, and the two of them lean in and kiss.
Next to me is Alicia's spouse, who is right here. It is a whisper. "Do you know who she thinks of when she kisses a guy?"
I give a head shake.
He chuckles dejectedly. "We are the ones that she is considering. She told me that she despises kissing other males, and because of this, she does her best to act as though I am the one standing opposite her in the romantic situations that are shown in movies. She uses a half bottle of mouthwash as soon as the take is complete to remove the taste of the other guy from her mouth.
I, too, am laughing. "I'm starting to like her more now."
He touches my arm. "I bet Melvin is picturing you opposite him when he kisses my wife."
Melvin and Alicia will need to perform the take a few more times before the director is satisfied with the performance of that particular scene.
The director approaches me. He makes a gesture with his hand and says, "Hey there, my darling. Austin Holman is my name. Oh, I'm sorry we weren't acquainted earlier.
I say this while taking his hand in mine. Katherine Walker, I am Melvin's fiancée.
He gives Melvin a look before saying. "You are a step up from the previous female I had the pleasure of meeting. She was only interested in you because of the renown you could bestow upon her, but we can see that she has what it takes to become famous.
I give a head shake. "I wouldn't like to be a famous person. Anywhere I am, I am content. I carefully remove my hand from his.
"What do you do for work, sweetheart?"
"I'm a photographer for Miller Industries and now the face of the company."
He breaks into a broad grin before his eyes. "How could I have forgotten? The person who has that knucklehead is the one who is featured on the billboard.
"Hey," Melvin playfully says to him. "I'm not a knucklehead."
"Yeah, you are." Mr. Austin says. "You could have brought this girl on set earlier than tonight." He is looking at me. "I want you to do a scene with Alicia."
Alicia gives him a look. "Are we going to do some improvisation?"
As he nods. "If she is capable of doing it. Can I write a minor part for her in the film?
Melvin is the focus of her attention. "Does she get to kiss her fiancé?"
Austin makes a head-shake motion. When it comes to your relationship, she is not going to interfere in any way. I thought the character would be your closest companion, but she is envious of your relationship with Austin.
And she laughs. "I am confident that she is capable of the jealousy portion. When I first saw her, I saw her in that light.
I respond while crossing my arms. "That's not fair." I am pointing in her direction. Do you have a picture of yourself? Indeed, you are stunning.
She comes over to approach me. "I am a married woman with children. It's a knockout that you are yourself. Because of this, Melvin is just with you and not with anybody else.
He wants to be with me, but he is still with Michelle since she can't seem to let him go and move on to something else.
"We are moving to a bar." Austin claps his hands. Katherine and Alicia should be seated next to each other at the bar, as that is what I want. The two of you are the best of friends, and I would love to watch that impromptu film. He pulls the clapper.
We go to our seats at the bar, Alicia and I alike.
There is an additional person seated a couple of seats away from us and a few others.
Melvin is standing next to Alicia's husband, and they are conversing.
I could improve my ability to improvise. This is a brand new experience for me, so be it.
After three, Austin begins counting down. "Three, two, one." He snaps the clapper, and I see Alicia signaling for the bartender to come down.
He comes over to look at us. While he is speaking, he looks at Alicia. "What I get you, beautiful ladies?"
"She looks at me, and I say two sex on the beaches and your phone number."
He lets out a chuckle. "I've got the drinks, but I can't give my number to you even if you're a beautiful woman."
She laughs, Alicia. You have two more opportunities to do so. If you cannot obtain a number, you are responsible for paying me $500.
I was crossing my arms. "I've got this." I make my way over to the person sitting by himself, and a seat is available next to him. My hands move up and down his back, as I rub them. "Hey,"
He then turns his head to look at me, and a grin appears. "Hey," he says, clearing his throat. "I haven't seen you around her before."
Yes, you wouldn't do it. Bars like this are not places where I spend my time. When I glance around the luxury bar, I typically spend my time at establishments that seem like..." "A lot less nice, and it's usually full of drunks at this time of night."
It is a laugh. "It looks like you're going up in the world if you've found a place like this."
As I whisper in his ear, "True," I confirm. "I bet with my friend that I could get a guy's phone number on three goes."
It is a laugh. "How's that working out for you, doll?"
No, it is not. For me, you are my second guy.
He pulls his phone out of his pocket and asks, "What's your number?"
After I provided him with my phone number, my phone immediately began to ring.
I can see his number when I look at my phone. "Thanks, Handsome." I then showed Alicia my phone while I gave him a peck on the cheek. "I got his phone number."
"Cut!" Austin lets out a cry. It is then that he walks over to us and claps his hand. "You did an excellent job. I want to incorporate that scene into the film.
After walking over to me, Melvin encircles and embraces me with his arms. This was amazing, Kathy. You are really talented at improvisation. To my surprise, I had no idea you were also a gifted actor.
