David could feel venom from her voice, why will she such a thing?.
"And why do you say that?", He asked, "Who are you running away from?".
Grace looked at him, "That's not the question should you ask. You should ask yourself who is the real enemy".
David frowned, he wasn't getting it, who is the real enemy?. As he knows there are a lot of enemies in this world, who is the real one?.
She continued, "I know you are confused and maybe not believing anything I'm saying. I'm trying not to believe it too".
David sat on the chair opposite her, "Tell me something. How did you know Peter Cole?".
He had made that excuse so that his colleagues won't ask her any questions. One thing is that no police should go against the CIA. He can buy his way out of their trap.
"Peter Cole?", She questioned, "You know him?".
"He is a wanted hacker, you knew that?".
Grace sighed, "He's more than a hacker, he was my friend and he saved me".
"When?".
"Why are you asking me all these questions?, I"'my telling you anything else. That's all I can say. You can go back to your criminal investigating life, which I go back to my dangerous one".
'Sharp mouth'.
He stood, "You forgot something".
Grace didn't glance, she actually didn't care what she forgot with him.
"You don't want to ask?".
"Why should I care?, you can have it".
David could see the pain in her eyes, he fear that pain might turn her to a monster overnight. A monster seeking for revenge.
"You sure?".
"I TOLD YOU I DON'T WANT IT, LEAVE ME ALONE!!", She yelled. She has lost everything, her life is ruined what's the point?, "Please leave me alone".
David did as she wished, besides the CIA will take her tomorrow to Washington, what ever she's running away won't find her in the custody of the CIA. He left the room only to find Bryan leaning against the wall opposite the door. They didn't say anything.
"So?", Bryan asked breaking the silence, "I heard her yell"
"She wants to be alone, I can only do that for her now until the CIA comes. But until then... no one is allowed to enter except me. Got that".
Bryan nodded, then realising he didn't hear the last part.
"Wait?... what?. You are kidding me, right?".
"No. Nobody is allowed to enter"., He walk off.
"Wait...", Bryan ran after him.
~~~~~
NEXT DAY.
At an unknown location, Aries pounched a bag continously, sweat drop from her forehead, she didn't stop until the punching bag lost its balance and fell to the ground.
"Aren't you going to stop?", Skull asked behind her.
She smirked, "Skull when did you arrive?, I thought you were still going after 357?. No luck?".
"Stop joking around Aries".
"I'm not", She unzipped the punching bag, and a bloody man gasped for air, he face was unrecognisable, "I thought you were strong".
"Please.... I beg you... ha.. have mercy", He begged.
Aries made a sad face, "Oh, l'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you", She said kicking his face. With the impact a loud crack echoed, the man was disabled, as he died at that spot.
"Looks like you're having fun", Skull said.
"Yeah I am. It's really exciting", She smiled looking down at the dead man, "I have to for a new punching bag", She pouted her lips, "Can you look for a better one for me?", She asked.
"It has only been two weeks when I brought that one", He pointed the man, "So no, find one yourself. The one that suits you".
"No one is good enough", She stated her eyes turning cold.
"That's your problem, not mine. I have another mission, I'll see you later", Like that he left.
She crossed her arms and scoffed, "Worthless", She muttered.
~~~~~~
Grace woke up hearing people's voices, rubbing her sleepy eyes it landed on the door. Who wakes someone with noise?, when her parents always wake her by dragging her out of the bed. She sighed.
"Where is she?", A woman voice echoed outside.
"She's in the interrogation room", It was David voice.
The door open and four people walked in, a man and a woman dressed in suits, with David and someone whose face looked familiar.
"Miss?".
Grace eyes went back to the people dressed in suit.
"Hello", The woman waved, sitting in front of her, "My name is Amber Rose, I'm working for the CIA. What your name?".
Grace frowned, "I know you're recording what is happening", She said leaving everyone stunned. She has got that knowledge through her father, he taught her everything about the police,"And yes, I knew Peter Cole".
No one spoke. Amber didn't know what to say, she felt her throat dried up. Adults can know about the recording but not a child.
"Okay", She spoke up, "You said you know about Peter Cole?, how?".
"As I said I knew him and now..... he's dead. Is that all you want to ask?".
"How did you meet him?", Amber interrogated further.
Grace kept quiet, will they believe her?. It has been a very stressful week of bloodshed for her.
"He saved me", She finally said, "That's all I can give you, Mrs Rose. I have nothing else to say", She looked away.
They glanced at each other, that was fast. Somehow David liked Grace response to every question thrown at her. He felt proud.
"But can you explain this", The man in suit asked placing a computer on the desk, "You gave the police a chip right?".
"He said I should give you", Grace responded, "What does have to do with me?".
"Damn this girl.... is super brave and highly smart", Bryan whispered to David.
"Yes she is. But too smart for a nine year old, the CIA may take her and train her to be an alian".
Bryan nodded, looking at the frowning face of Grace, what happened?.
"Fo you know this?", Amber asked.
Code's where appearing in the computer, it felt familiar to her. She has seen it before. But where?.
"I don't know it", She said looking away.
"Then do you know Kate Donald and Alice Donald?".
The word hit her. She snapped her head to her direction.
"How do you know them?!", She shouted in anger and pain. They've got her now her weak point.
"They are your parents, right?".
"You know nothing about them", She clenched her fist as tight as she could.
"I'm sorry to intrude, but is that the question you should now?",Bryan didn't get it.
"We can ask any questions seeing how smart she is. She is as smart as her parents. I hope I am not saying anything wrong, am I?", Amber asked.
"Stop talking about my parents", Grace warned tears building up, "You don't know them".
"But I know this.... your parents are criminals".
Grace jerked up instantly grabbing a pistol from Amber's pistol belt aiming it at her. It's alerted them, they didn't even notice how fast she was, their jaws hit the floor.
"Grace", David called,"Drop it".
Amber didn't move, she clenched the sides of the chair fright, "Drop the gun sweetheart".
"I'm now a sweetheart?", Grace questioned moving closer, "But you're not seeing a sweetheart. All you can see is a demon standing in front of you, aiming a gun at your face. How sweet am I now?".
"You.... you don't know how to use it", Amber said smirking.
"Are the CIA this dump?", She asked looking at David for answers.
"No", He replied, "Drop the gun".
Tension began to rise in the room, a nine year aiming a gun at an official.
"Say something Amber", She demanded.
Amber felt sweaty and scared. Her life is unbalanced.
"Fine", Grace said stepping back, "I guess I have to do this the hard way".
"Grace noo..."
"No.."
"Stop...."
"Ahhh...."
*BANG*
