Chapter 12 - Chapter 11: Apocrypha Part 3

With two of the Demon Lords being vanquished by the forces of Heaven our heroes are making progress but the forces of Hell might have something to say about that.

"So it seems that Lord Mammon and Lord Leviathan has fallen..." Belial said, after stabbing an angel.

"Their sacrifices to the kingdom of Hell will not be in vain..." Astaroth replied.

"Surely, they don't think that they would be able to achieve victory so quickly do they..." Lillith smirked.

"I'm thinking that they're just getting a little way too ahead of themselves, just because they defeated two demon kings doesn't me that victory is already an assurance for them..." Asmodeus chuckled.

"Belphy, would you like to assist me in killing the monsters that killed our dear brothers?" Asmodeus asked.

"Well...I guess I wouldn't mind...after all...my body is definitely going to need some physical activity..." Belphegor sighed, stretching his body after a long nap.

"Wish you luck, you two..." Lillith chuckled.

"Don't worry Lillith...we got it..." Belphegor replied.

"Alright, if you say so..." Lillith chuckled, leaving the two demon kings to handle the fighters.

"Now...where do we begin?" Both asked in unison.

Somewhere in the battlefield, Solomon along with the rest of the fighters are navigating around the battlefield.

"So far we have defeated two demon kings, as much as I'd like to celebrate, there are still more powerful threats that lie ahead..." Solomon sighed.

"I've always wondered why God gave people second chances but looking back at it, I see why I was given a second chance by him..." Solomon smiled.

"What's on your mind, my son?" David asked.

"It's nothing father, I was just having a simple happy thought..." Solomon smiled.

"Look up ahead, demons are approaching us right now!" Moses said.

Asmodeus and Belphegor, accompanied by their troops, targeted Noah's Ark, planning on destroying it.

"We're going to require some assistance..." Adam and Moses said, with both of them eliminating some of the demons.

"We'll be right with you..." David and Solomon replied to them.

David uses his slingshot at shot the demons at their heads, Cain used his dagger to swiftly kill other demons and Adam using his Divine Creation, created lots of swords and directed them towards the demons.

"I'm going to be honest, I'm going to need a break from this fight...using Divine Creation takes up a lot of energy..." Adam sighed, his body felt weak.

Cain went ahead and helped carry his weakened father.

"Relax father, we'll handle the rest from here..." Cain said with reassurance.

"Very well..." Adam said, closing his eyes to take a rest.

"Now let's prepare ourselves for this battle..." Solomon said

Meanwhile Ozymandias and Beelzebub had finished their duel, with both exhausted from their fight.

"This battle needs to stop now..." Ozymandias pants, grasping for air right now.

"Don't you ever get tired of this nonsensical violence?!" Ozymandias shouted at Beelzebub, kicking at the ground.

"But I guess that's what you demons are all about, just causing evil and against the ideas of good..." Ozymandias sighed, he left Beelzebub to help his allies.

As he was looking for his friends, he encountered demons in front of him but he knew he should conserve up some energy and avoided them, taking a different route and he eventually found his allies.

"Sorry I'm late..." Ozymandias said, as he made his way to them.

"You're not late...you're just in time..." Solomon smiled.

"Well brother, it looks like we have more prey to feast upon..." Belphegor said.

"Indeed you are right..." Asmodeus chuckled.

"Well I'll be making this quick for all of us..." Belphegor sighed.

"Realm of Belphegor..." Belphegor stated.

All of them were inside of Belpheogr's realm, it was mostly colored white, almost like a void and no other color, with the sounds of lullabies echoing the area.

"In this realm, the only thing that you can do here...is sleep and live in your dreams..." Belphegor sighed.

"Good night, sweet dreams..." Belphegor chuckled.

Inside of Solomon's dream, he awoke and noticed he was laying down on his bed and inside his palace back when he was the king of Israel.

"This feels very nostalgic..." Solomon said.

"Hey darling!!!" A crowd of voices shouted.

"My dear wives..." Solomon smiled.

They rushingly hugged him which made Solomon chuckle.

Meanwhile in Moses' dream, he woke up inside an Egyptian palace, as he found himself surprised wearing his Egyptian prince clothes.

"Wasn't I in the battlefield with the others a while ago?" Moses wondered, he was trying to figure out how he got into this situation.

"Moses, there you are..." A voice called out.

"Father and Mother have been looking for you..." Another voice called out.

In front of him were two people, both of them have tanned brown skin, black hair and wore royal outfits, with expensive jewelry and they slowly approached towards him.

"Rameses...Nefertiti..." Moses cried.

"What's the matter Moses?" Rameses and Nefertiti asked.

"Nothing..." Moses smiled with tears in his eyes as he hugged the two of them, much to their surprise.

Next to David's perspective was when he was a young boy surrounded by his father and his brothers as this dream of his was when he wasn't yet anointed by the prophet Samuel to become the next King of Israel.

Samson's dream was when he was still alive where he was with his mother and before he was betrayed by Delilah and sent to die along with the Philistines.

Adam woke up inside his dream, as he noticed he felt he was in a familiar area, he noticed the familiar trees and waters around him, with many animals surrounding him and he heard a calm voice approaching him.

"How's the long rest..." The voice called out.

The person in front of him was none other than his wife, Eve.

"My love?" Eve asked.

"It was a splendid rest...my love..." Adam replied.

Cain's dream was before he killed Abel and him and his family were living peacefully.

Lastly Ozymandias entered his dream, his dream was with him being reunited with his dear wife and son.

"Welcome back, Oz..." Elysia smiled.

"Elysia..." Ozymandias cried.

"What's the matter Oz, is something bothering you?" Elysia asked.

"Nothing..." Ozymandias smiled.

"Hehehehe...foolish humans...they simply fell into their doom..." Belphegor chuckled.

"Strangely, this place feels like I am home...but seeing that my allies are nowhere around, it must only mean one thing..." Solomon said to himself.

"None of which that is happening around me is real...but yet a dream casted by Belphegor..." Solomon continued.

"None of this is actually real around me...I must inform the others..." Solomon said, standing up as he started to rush off as he was in a hurry to escape the castle.

"Where do you think you're going?" A demon soldier snared.

"It is none of your business for you are simply meddling in my way!" Solomon said, drawing out a dagger.

Likewise the demon drew out it's blade as both of them engaged in a duel, with the two fighters exchanging blow after blow, with Solomon disarming the demon's blade and stabbing him on the chest.

"Now step aside as I have other things to do..." Solomon said, pulling out the dagger from the demon's chest.

Solomon continued running, the only thing that was concerning his thoughts during that situation is to escape the false reality and wake up back accompanied with his allies.

"I must find a solution to break this false reality and be reunited with my allies, and it looks like it's finally the moment..." Solomon said, suddenly stopping at the end of the hallway.

"How long has it been...since I last utilized this sacred power..." Solomon sighed.

"Demon King Belphegor, one of the 72 Demon Gods...I must say that such a feat like this is truly a remarkable achievement..." Solomon said sarcastically, laughing to the top of his lungs.

"But this is the part where you have made your biggest mistake, you are forgetting the very person that I am, I, King Solomon will bring you to your defeat!" Solomon exclaimed.

"Demon of Sloth, your time has come, fall back into the shadows and be sealed for the rest of eternity, for you belong along with the other 72 demons..." Solomon continued.

During the chant, a wave of energy can be felt surrounding Solomon, his face began to show light gold marks on his face, his eyes glowing with his spiritual light, his hair turning white and with a ring materializing on his right hand, at his index finger.

"What is this tremendous pressure..." Belphegor backed away, taken aback by the immense power.

"Don't tell me..." Belphegor said, his eyes widened.

"Befall now..." Solomon continued his chant, with the spiritual pressure reaching its maximum output.

"No! I refuse- I won't let you do this!" Belphegor shouted, drawing out his blade and attempting to attack Solomon.

"Sacrarium...Sapientis...Regis..." Solomon said.

At that moment, Belphegor saw his doom, with his dream reality slowly tearing apart with cracks becoming visible, with golden light appearing, with a temple brought for and two Seraphim guards flying out as they took Belphegor away.

"This cannot be happening..." Belphegor cried.

"I refuse...I refuse...I just want to rest...please..." Belphegor cried out at Solomon before eventually being sealed away along with the temple.

"That now...it made me realize that...we humans and demons are not truly different from one another..." Solomon sighed.

The dream reality slowly faded away with all of them awakening from the dream as they wondered how it was destroyed.

"You're welcome, my dear friends, but then again, it was through the power of our Lord that I was able to utilize this power..." Solomon smiled softly.

But all of a sudden, Solomon was feeling weak, his body was taking it's toll, he could hardly stand on his feet.

All of them started rushing immediately as they headed towards his body, David and Ozymandias slowly carried the heavily tired Solomon to Noah's Ark, laying him down nearby a resting area for him to recover for a while.

"You have done a lot to contribute to this war, rest assured my dear prince, we will handle the rest from here." David said, patting his son's head, with a soft smile on his face.

He stood up from his seat, and turned to face Ozymandias.

"Tell me...have you ever been to a war before..." David asked Ozymandias, waiting for his response.

"Unfortunately no, King David, I was but a ruler of a small village but I was a ruler known for his wisdom, as I never really fought any enemy...other than a small plague..." Ozymandias replied looking away, feeling embarrassed in front of King David.

David simply laughed at him, he continued laughing until he placed his hand on his shoulder firmly.

"Here is a piece of advice I'd like to share with you, it doesn't matter if you look weak or if you're short, facing against a strong opponent like those demons require mustering up courage, show them that despite those odds, you are still willing to fight in what you believe in, then you have the heart of a brave and true warrior..." David smiled.

In that moment, Ozymandias was touched by King David's words, he felt inspired and his heart had a fiery motivation to fight for what was right.

"Thank you very much King David, now let us go and defeat the other demons!" Ozymandias said, rushing out of the Ark.

"Hmph, recklessness and imprudence...he can be rebellious but hey...I used to be like that..." King David chuckled, following on suite.

Asmodeus just watched from afar, he stood still, he felt deeply saddened for the lost of his brother, Belphegor.

"My dear brother, your sacrifice will not be forgotten...I will ensure it..." Asmodeus said, flying down to attack the heroes.

"Here he comes..." Moses said, warning the others to run away immediately.

"You will all pay for the death of my brother..." Asmodeus grunted, charging towards the warriors with his eyes filled with rage.

"Damn he's strong..." Ozymandias said, he felt the heavy blow dealt by Asmodeus' sword.

Asmodeus gripped tightly to his weapon, he began to emit a pinkish smoke around the battlefield, he swiftly charged towards them, his eyes were focused on eliminating them no matter the cost.

"He's persistent and his bloodlust is increasing..." Moses said.

"That may be true, but that doesn't mean he can't be stopped..." Ozymandias said, drawing his sword, blocking Asmodeus' attack

"Hmph, you're not bad yourself..." Asmodeus chuckled.

"Since you're the godling who has fought my brothers before, entertain me by proving your worth..." Asmodeus said, casting the pink smoke.

Ozymandias gripped to his sword tightly, he was about to prepare his attack.

Asmodeus swiftly emerges from the smoke, he lashes out in anger, as he managed to bruise Ozymandias while he was distracted.

"What's the matter, giving up already?" Asmodeus chuckled.

"You wouldn't attack me if I was in this appearance would you?" Asmodeus said, transforming into Oz's son Arion.

Ozymandias' body froze, he couldn't swing his sword at him nor make a single action.

"That's what I thought..." Asmodeus smirked, kicking him in the stomach.

Ozymandias was pushed back but he used his sword and bore it to the ground, as he gripped tightly and stood firm.

"My soldiers, attack him now..." Asmodeus chuckled, sending his soldiers in battle.

All of the soldiers rushed and went to attack Ozymandias, preparing to strike attacks at him.

"At first, it would seem unlikely that Ozymandias would win this outcome..." Solomon said, mumbling to himself after shortly waking up.

"But he is truly an extraordinary person..." Solomon continued.

Ozymandias activated his Kontroligan Eyes and glanced at the incoming attackers.

The attackers simply froze at the sight of his Kontroligan Eyes, they couldn't move their weapons nor control their own bodies.

"Foul demons that scatter evil in the world, your power has come to an end, die and accept thy fate...perish..." Ozymandias said, his eyes glowed a bright light at the demons.

And without hesitation, Ozymandias killed the demons without even flicking a finger or moving a single muscle, all it happened...in just the blink of an eye, with a big smoke emerging from the aftermath

"The hell...just happened..." Asmodeus coughed, he couldn't see anything from the smoke.

Ozymandias emerges from the smoke, his eyes are filled with fury, he gripped firmly to his sword as he was about to strike Asmodeus.

Ozymandias stabs Asmodeus hand using his sword and makes him fall down on the ground.

"Arghh..." Asmodeus groaned, trying to move his body as he is pinned to the ground.

"I won't let you escape my hand, and I won't let you move even a single inch..." Ozymandias said, his eyes are shining brighter than before.

Asmodeus, weakened after the damaged his body, he tried to move his body from the ground.

"Don't you move..." Ozymandias said coldly, his eyes are filled with anger as he stared into Asmodeus' eyes.

Asmodeus moved his finger, but then all of a sudden, Ozymandias punched him in the face, angered at Asmodeus.

"Is Solomon awake?" Ozymandias asked the others.

"I'm awake and ready, Ozymandias...leave the rest to me..." Solomon said, approaching towards them.

"Demon of Lust...your time has come, fall back into the shadows and be sealed for eternity, for you belong along with the rest of your kind..." Solomon said, raising his right index finger, magical pressure of energy emitted out of him as he was chanting a seal.

"Not yet...I'm not done..." Asmodeus grunted, trying to resist to Solomon's power.

"Befall under my hand..." Solomon continued.

"You won't get away with this!" Asmodeus shouted, trying to attack Solomon to cancel the sealing chant.

"Sacrarium..." Solomon chanted, even though being injured by Asmodeus...

"Sapientis...Regis!!!" Solomon shouted, groaning from pain.

Solomon summoned his temple, emitting its bright golden light, with four angels coming out to seal Asmodeus in the temple.

"You'll pay for this Solomon!" Asmodeus shouted, trying to escape the clutches of the angels.

"Perhaps that is true...you know I do have something to tell you Asmodeus..." Solomon said, struggling to stand up.

"And what would that be?" Asmodeus asked.

"Between you demons and us humans...I see truly no difference between us...as beings that exist in this world, we are all equal..." Solomon said, struggling to get up.

Asmodeus was touched by his words, he made a small smile on his face as he was being sealed in the temple.

"Damn...you got me there..." Asmodeus smiled, before being sealed away in the temple.

The temple disappears and Solomon sighs, as he slowly sits down on the ground.

"Are you ok Solomon?" Ozymandias asked.

"I'm alright, I just need to attend to my wounds..." Solomon said, struggling to get up.

"I'm truly glad that we are winning this war..." Ozymandias said.

"Mhm, I feel the same way as well..." Solomon said as they both headed towards the ark.

And so the heroes once again defeated two more demon kings, which proves to be a huge problem for the demon forces, with God and his reinforcements coming in the way, what will be the demon forces' next plan of attack and while the heroes prevail in the end?
