Lucia paced around her house, still lost in the remnants of the strange dream she had about Volkan.
The vivid memory of them in the kitchen wouldn't leave her mind.
It had felt so real, too real, with Volkan doing things that sent shivers down her spine even in the waking world.
She shook her head, trying to clear the fog.
"Why would I even dream about him like that? In the kitchen of all places?" she muttered to herself, her brow furrowing.
Before she could dwell on it longer, her phone buzzed, pulling her back to reality. It was Volkan.
Of course, it was him.
She stared at the screen for a second, debating whether to answer. Finally, with a sigh, she swiped to pick up the call.
"Hey," Volkan's deep voice rumbled through the phone. "You are supposed to be at the house by now. This is your boss' orders. So bring your pretty ass to our house."
Did he just call her pretty?
Her ass specifically.
