The next morning, Nitya had already finished her classes and headed to the canteen. DD and the gang were already seated there. While Nitya was at the counter ordering, she accidently bumped into someone, causing all her notebooks to fall to the ground. Looking up, she saw it was Tanay. Tani, who was looking in their direction, exclaimed, "Guys look!" Abeer and Divit turned to see Tanay helping Nitya gather her notebooks. Tanay apologized, saying, "I'm so sorry Niti, here are your books." Nitya replied, "It's Okay," and then choose to sit at a table, a few seats away from DD and the gang.
The atmosphere in the canteen where DD and the gang were sitting, was intense. Tanay went back to sit with the DD crew. Tani, with a teasing tone, asked Tanay, "What was that all about, Tanay?" Tanay, catching the teasing vibe, responded, "it was just an accident, nothing more, "Divit and Abeer both had serious expressions. Divit couldn't shake the feeling that Niti seemed familiar, reminding him of someone special from the past who was no longer around. Abeer, glancing at Tanay, warned, "Stay away from her." This remark from Abeer brought a sudden hush over the group.
Tanay furrowed his brows and inquired, "What do you mean?" Divit and Tani also turned their attention to Abeer, waiting for an explanation. Abeer explained, "Wolf couldn't dig up anything on her, so we need to be cautious." Divit reflected and agreed, "You're right, we have no information about her, so we must tread carefully to avoid any pitfalls." The group, all coming from affluent backgrounds, understood the importance of vigilance. Divit and Abeer managed some of their family businesses, Tanay also assisted with his family's affairs, and Tani, hailing from a prestigious family, was more astute then she appeared.
Tani shifted the conversation with a mysterious smile, glancing at Nitya and exclaimed, "Alright, guys just wait and watch now." All of them turned their eyes to Nitya, who was seated with Agney and Priya. As Niti took a bite of her sandwich, tears welled up in her eyes, and she hastily requested water. Priya quickly fetched a water bottle for Niti, who then gulped down the water in one go.
