Chereads / I became a Girl? / Chapter 80 - Chapter 80 A Long Awaited Reunion.

Chapter 80 - Chapter 80 A Long Awaited Reunion.

It was early in the morning, when a luxurious carriage escorted by a large group of knights entered town. With speed they went through the main street until a man with a loud commanding voice yelled. "Halt."

From the carriages window the man's keen eyes caught the sight of a large man in black exiting a seemingly vacant inn. He carried a dead man on his shoulder and tossed him upon his large black stallion, then he himself mounted his horse and rode off.

For a second their eyes met, the large man nodded lightly at him and then he rode off towards Camelot. Seeing it the man was intrigued and so he ordered his carriage to move in front of the Inn, as he then stepped out upon the bloody streets and entered the Inn.

Lili meanwhile was laying upstairs in Accalias arms. The two were deep asleep with tiers in their eyes and their bodies stained by that man's seed. But then they were suddenly startled awake by the sounds of clanking metal as armoured men stepped into the Inn and a deep voice called out saying.

"Hello is anyone here?"

Lili and Accalia opened their eyes, Lili wanted to get up just then, but her body felt heavy. It quickly brought back memories of the night that made her body shiver, she didn't want to really go now. But someone had to go and do something so she pushed herself up.

Accalia tried to do the same, but her body was even weaker than hers. Seeing her mother's weak state Lilis eyes lit up with light and she began to heal them both.

But as she did this she noticed something new not just within Accalia but herself as well. For within them both, there where the womb was, there she could see a small light of life.

Seeing it Lili knew not what to think, for she couldn't understand what it even was. Why was there a spark of such a brilliant life within herself and a bit dimmer of a little light within Accalia. It couldn't have been that right, she must have been mistaken. Ah yes, that's what it was, right.

Feeling assured of this Lili then patted her mom in assurance and said. "Don't worry mom, I got this. Just rest and I'll be right back."

Wiping away her tiers that still stained her face, Lili then pushed herself to the beds edge and as her feet touched the ground and she pushed forward, she suddenly collapsed with a bang on the floor.

"Hmm, Lili, are you ok?" Came Accalias worried voice from the bed as Lili tried to pick herself up off the floor.

Though she healed herself, her legs still felt so wobbly, she was so weak and her crotch area just didn't feel the same. This would most likely need some adjusting to, but quickly she did manage to get back up and show a smile to Accalia as she said.

"Yeah, I'm ok. Just a bit wobbly as all."

Accalia didn't seem convinced, she showed a sad frown to her, but there was no time for that now. Using a small cloth Lili quickly wiped herself down trying to clean herself from that man's filth and all that stained her body.

After which she picked up her dress off the ground, put it on and though she looked quite disheveled as it was, she nonetheless headed off to meet the customers who were calling for her. She could hear the same man calling out to someone to come, while some other men began doubting it all as they suggested to the man that they just leave.

But as Lili pushed open her rooms door and came to the railing to overlook the men they all quieted down just then. There below her Lili could see four heavily armed and armoured knights and in the middle of them all a tall and muscular man. He wore armour more splendid than any of the other knights and he had no helmet. He looked like some really rich noble man and he even strangely had the same blonde hair and deep blue eyes as she did.

But most peculiar of all was that they all held the same coat of arms as the Lionheart family did. The knights had it on their tabards as did the rich noble man in armour. Just who were they, this she didn't know yet.

Although she could also see a carriage outside and more men waiting there. Seeing it all Lili knew him to be a man of great importance and so she quickly straightened her dress and said. "Mmm, just a moment. I'll be right over there my lord."

Although she said this quite confidently, her heart was already racing like crazy. After what just happened, with those armed men, with that large brute of a man. And with all that had happened she didn't really feel like wanting to face another man ever again, but she had to it seemed.

But then as she came downstairs before them she froze as she realised something. The Inn was clean, the blood was gone as were the bodies. The Inn looked as if though nothing had happened to it, but how?

Lost in thought the tall man then came before her and said. "So that man that just left this establishment, I take it that your quite close to him?"

Hearing this Lili was immediately struck with shivers of disgust and images of that what had just happened. She knew she should face this lord, this customer of hers properly and say something, but she couldn't.

Her body suddenly began to tremble, she wanted to speak, but only tiers came to her eyes as she cried out. "No, his not. His, his a monster."

Just saying these few words felt like such a burden, her knees buckled and she fell in tiers to the floor. She just couldn't do this anymore, she was useless now.

Seeing this the man took a few steps back and said. "Hmm, I see. What a shame and you even had such pretty eyes as well."

For a moment only Lilis sobs could be heard as the man then asked. "Oh you wouldn't happen to be the person named Lili, would you? I saw your establishments name and I've heard quite a few things about this place you see. And if so, then I would very much like to know who your mother was."

Just then the upstairs door opened and Accalia came in dressed in her waitress uniform as she said. "I'm her mother. Now leave her alone, I'll serve you. Just tell me what you want and I'll get it for you."

Seeing Accalia coming the man's shaved handsome face suddenly turned to disgust. He looked at Lili and then said. "Really, am I to believe that a Lycan is your mother? That's a lie obviously, she looks stunning for sure, but other than that she holds no familiarity to you. Isn't that right girl?"

The man seemed to be totally ignoring Accalias presence which Accalia did immediately notice as she said. "You know I'm right here. You don't need to speak to me like I do not exist or something."

The man said nothing to Accalia, he didn't even glance at her and so Accalia immediately backed off and went quiet. Seeing it Lili felt a bit annoyed and then said. "She is my mother."

Though this was all she managed to say, it seemed to be enough. The man seemed disappointed hearing this as he then just huffed at them and said. "I see." And just like that he turned and began to walk away.

It seemed that it was over now, but Lili didn't feel relieved at all. She had just told a lie and it hurt, she felt like a needle was piercing her heart. Although not literally it still hurt her and so she looked at the man and corrected herself by saying. "My adopted mother. She's my adopted mother, I meant to say."

Just then the man immediately stopped and turned to ask. "So who was your mother then?"

Why was this man so interested in knowing something like this. With tiers in her eyes she looked at him and stopped. Now that she looked at him more closely, there most definitely was something familiar about this man. She couldn't remember his face, but that voice, she was sure that she had heard it somewhere before, right.

But whatever the case, she couldn't lie again. She didn't want to lie and so she honestly said. "I was named after my mother. Although she died when I was quite young, so I don't know much more of her. Other than that I know that her remains were stolen by bandits in red. And not only did they take her, but my chickens and other things as well"

Thinking of it now brought back so many memories again. It hurt so much and so she cried again. She felt so weak, why was she crying so much all the time now, why was she so helpless on her own?

But then she felt strong arms of a man wrap around her lovingly. For a split second she panicked, until she heard the man say. "Lili, my sweetheart, my beautiful daughter. Hahaha, finally I found you, I actually found you at long last. Oh you don't know how much money and men power I spent on searching for you. They told me that you were probably dead along with your mother as you were so young back then, but I never lost hope. I just knew that you were out there somewhere."

Hearing his words Lili was utterly stunned as she muttered out a simple question. "Father?"

Immediately the man hugged her even tighter and then lifted her up into his strong arms as he said. "Yes its me. Your father is right here and it will be alright. Everything will be alright now, that I promise."

Lili wanted to cry, she wanted to laugh and say so much, but she could only worry. For how could her father ever accept her, she was so weak, so pathetic and that man had just defiled her. So she cried and said. "But, but, that man he, he did things to me. I'm not pure anymore, I'm no good."

Just then the man pulled lightly away from the hug, looked Lili in her eyes and said firmly. "No Lili, your perfect and don't let anyone else say otherwise. What happened to you is not your fault and it most definitely isn't anything to be ashamed of."

Lili felt conflicted hearing this, how was it good in any way or not to be ashamed of at all. It was totally her own fault, her words, her actions and all led to that horrible event. But, but, maybe her father was right in a way. She should not dwell on the past, whatever happened, happened, right? Right?

Then he hugged her close again and excitedly said. "Yes, this is perfect. Just perfect and a cause for celebration. My daughter is back, so let us head back immediately. She needs to recover her strength and be introduced to the family! Hahahaha!"

The man began carrying her away in his arms, but looking back Lili saw a stunned but happy Accalia looking at her. Seeing her Lili quickly yelled to her father. "Wait father, stop. I can't go, my mother, my Inn and everything is here. I can't abandon it now. I can't abandon my mom, Accalia."

Her father stopped then and looked to Accalia as he asked. "Well, I usually do not trust Lycan's in the slightest. But you seem to be close and for whatever care you have given my girl you do deserve a reward. So come Lycan, or Accalia that is. Come and join us, you have my permission. And as for the Inn, I can leave my men in charge of it."

Hearing this Accalia seemed unsure, but then showed a smile as she said. "Oh thank you my lord. But do not worry for the Inn. It's mostly the property of the crown after all, so the girls who work here will eventually come to take care of everything."

But then as if remembering something, Accalia stopped and said. "But please wait for a moment. Before we leave I must leave a message to my sister's working here."

To this the man nodded and quickly agreed to, although he did seem dumbfounded as he looked to Lili and asked. "Wait, so you know the royal family? But don't they know of you, and what of the Prince then?"

Thinking on it for but a second Lili just smiled and said. "Yeah they are really nice to me, but no they don't know that you're my father. Mmm, and yeah I guess they don't know that I'm a noble then either. I just worked as the bed maid there for the Prince. Although I've never seen him before so it was pretty easy working there."

The man seemed stunned, but quickly showed a brilliant smile as he ruffled her hair and said. "Hahaa, that's my girl. Well done, although for now I think I'll keep you a secret then. After all I'll need to prepare you well, so that when all look upon you again, they will be absolutely stunned by your grace and beauty."

After saying this Lili's very own noble father carried her into the carriage where she happily sat in his arms and waited for Accalia to come. And when she did they quickly rode off towards her new home it seemed.

Though Lili had so many questions, so many things she wanted to say and do. But within that moment she just wanted to close her eyes and feel the warmth of a real father for the first time in either of her lives.

Sure it was strange at first, she felt nervous and unsure of herself, of him, but nothing happened. He was nice, he was warm, he was strong and she felt like she could trust him, and so she did.
