"Oh my god, Its a greenhouse! And, it's completely free for the taking, yee!" Was what Lili thought as she was about to set foot on the wet soil, but then suddenly she felt a strong grip take a hold of her. And then, like she was nothing in the face of this strength, she was pulled back behind the door with immense strength.
Her head was pulled in between two big, soft and furry tits. Then a big paw came upon her mouth, shutting her up for good as the other strong arm held her in place by her stomach.
Lili immediately realised it to be her mother in her furry form, but what the hell was she doing. Her mother's sudden actions shocked her, she wasn't scared but just surprised and trapped in her mother's furry arms.
She tried to struggle and speak, but she couldn't move or say anything. Then she heard Accalia speak as if she were scared as she said.
"Shush Lili, please be quiet for mommy's sake. Just know that everything will be fine. We just need to be quiet and wait for it to pass."
Lilis heart rate immediately picked up as she heard her mother's words and the fear in them. She had no idea what her mother had seen or heard, but it must have been something terrible to scare her like so.
Lili had not sensed anything in the room. Her senses were pretty good as so far they hadn't been wrong about anything. But then again her mother was a freaking werewolf so she probably knew better than she did, if there was a danger or not in the room.
So with this in mind Lili kept quiet and stayed still like the good mommy's girl she was. And so they waited and waited and waited. And little by little the fear in Lilis heart started to disappear and be replaced by boredom.
Nonetheless she didn't say anything and continued to wait. Accalia had made them hide their stones lights in their hands and so they were left completely in the dark now. The only light that remained was the one that was coming from the other side of the door. And then there was the absolute silence of the place and the comfort of her mother's tits and her furry body. To Lili all of this was just too much and soon Lili started to feel a bit sleepy as she did a little yawn and rubbed at her one good eye lazily.
That's when she noticed her mothers intense gaze which was so firmly pointed at the light coming out of the door. Curious of this Lili couldn't hold back anymore as she pushed her mother's hand away from her mouth and asked.
"What is it that you are looking at, mother? What did you see?"
Accalia seemed to take a deep breath to calm herself down as she then said.
"Hmm, can't you see it Lili?"
Confused by her mother's words. Lili said.
"See what, mother?"
Now her mother sounded confused as she said.
"The light Lili. Can't you see it? I've only heard tales of it, but it's said that the deep dark depths of the world are full of monsters such as this. Monsters that lurk in the darkness and use some unnatural lights created from their own bodies to draw in their unsuspecting victims. It is also said that these creatures are larger and fiercer than anything that is on the surface of the world."
What the heck is mother talking about. That was clearly just a extremely old light powered by electricity, right. Although Lili thought this, now she wasn't all that sure. After all she hadn't seen it all that well and so it could have been pretty much anything.
But no, her mother's words couldn't be true, right. It was like she had said, those were just stories that she had heard. She hadn't actually seen any of it herself. And besides they were in the sewers or some man made place, so surely there wouldn't be anything like that here.
With this in mind, Lili said.
"Umm, not that I am calling you a liar or anything like that mother, but I say that's a bunch of nonsense. They're just some stories that old people tell to scare the young for their own amusement. And besides we have been here already for a long time and we haven't yet come across a single living thing here, so why would we come across something now. Also we are right under Camelot, the most well defended city in all of Albion, surely there cannot be any monsters here."
Despite thinking her words to be quite convincing and reasonable, Accalia didn't loosen her grip. She just took a small pause and then said.
"Ok Lili. I admit, you might be right about this. So far I haven't seen or heard any movement, but just in case. I want you to stay here while I go check it out, ok. And if anything happens then I want you to keep on looking for a way out of here without me."
Accalia loosened her grip on Lili and turned her to look at her furry face as she said.
"Promise me Lili. Promise that if something happens then you will not come after me. Can you promise me that?"
Now Lili herself felt a bit concerned, she was pretty sure that nothing was going to happen, but what if? Feeling hesitant, Lili nodded her head obediently and a bit reluctantly said.
"Ok, mother, I promise. I will stay right here."
Accalias furry werewolf face showed Lili a sad smile, as she then lifted Lili off of her lap and stood up. Then Accalia cautiously moved into the light that was coming through the doorway.
From there she moved out of the doorway and into the humongous room, planting her feet on the wet soil, with a wet smack. Lili could see Accalias feet sink a few centimeters into the wet soil, clearly the soil lacked any hardness to it. Looking at it closely Lili noted that the wet soil now just looked like wet mud.
Then Accalia started to move onwards. With each step, a wet splat sound was made, and with each step more and more mid got stuck to her feet. Slowly her feet started to pickup more and more of the soil causing her to slow down.
From the doorway Lili watched with worry in her eyes as her mother seemingly in frustration started to kick away the accumulated mud off of her feet. Or well, actually the sight looked quite comical to Lili. After every 10 or so meters Accalia moved further away into the distance she was forced to stop and kick at the air. To see the naked form of her jiggly werewolf mother kicking the air made Lili giggle slightly.
But as her mother moved further and further away, Lili couldn't help but start to feel really worried. She started to wonder, what if. And then there was the fact that she was now pretty much completely alone as she stood there and it scared her.
Nonetheless she obediently watched as her mother slowly made her way over the wet soil, over a small stream and over some patches of grass. Little by little the form of her mother became smaller and smaller, and little by little she started to realise just how massive the tree in the distance was.
Then tens of minutes passed and Lili's worry had now turned to impatients. Impatients at how long it was taking for her mother to make it to the giant tree. At first the tree had looked quite big, but the closer Accalia got to the tree, the larger and larger the thing appeared to be. Now Accalia looked like some small black ant in comparison to the tree.
Standing there she had also noted that the light in the ceiling most definitely was just an electrically powered light. But she did wonder, how did the light manage to keep itself going all this time, without shutting off or breaking.
To the right side of the tree, next to the wall, hidden under moss, there she had noticed a square like structure. Curious of this Lili wanted to move, but didn't dare to.
In frustration of not knowing what to do, she sat down and looked into the dark stairwell with her one good eye. But as she looked there, a feeling of unease and fear came to her. A chill ran through her spine causing her to stand up as she said.
"Nah, fuck this creepy ass mother fucking darkness. I ain't sitting here alone no more."
After saying this Lili immediately got up and ran into the giant greenhouse room. With all her might she started to run over the muddy soil and towards her mother. She felt like calling out to her mom, but didn't as she didn't want to make Mom worry.
Quickly as she ran the mud started to accumulate on her dainty little feet, slowing her down greatly. Her breathing became heavier and soon she found herself panting and heaving for breath.
Despite this she just kept on going, not stopping for even a moment. Her run was now not only fueled by fear of the dark, but curiosity as well. Slowly the realization of the trees true size was coming to her and she couldn't help but feel amazed at it. There also seemed to be a strange air of something grand, something mystical about this tree.
Finally, she felt like she understood why so many old cultures around the world had once upon a time worshipped nature, instead of some unknown man made entity. For the sight of the tree and the air around it made one feel like god was here.
While lost in thought she noticed that in the far distance her mother was already touching the tree. Her Mom seemed to be completely lost in thought as she ran her furry werewolf hand across it's hard surface.
That's when she noticed the poor state of the tree. There seemed to be a lot of cracks in the bark and there also seemed to be a lot of fungal matter growing on its surface.
Then she noticed her mother looking up. Following her mothers gaze, she turned her gaze up as well and looked into the ceiling where the large branches were. Looking up there Lili couldn't help but notice the lack of leaves on the tree.
But from the few leaves she could tell that this tree was most likely a apple tree. Although this apple tree didn't appear like it had been producing any apples for a long time. The tree seemed weak, it looked like it was dying.
Lili figured that the tree was most likely lacking a lot of essential nutrients, which it clearly wasn't getting from the muddy soil. And then there was the nonexistent sunlight, sure there was the singular light in the ceiling but clearly that wasn't enough. Lacking such basic things Lili couldn't help but wonder how was the tree even still alive.
Then finally after a while of running Lili made it to her mother. Sweat was running down her face like crazy as she spoke to her mother through panted breaths and said.
"Sorry mom, I guess I broke our promise. I just couldn't keep on waiting there alone. Without any people or anything living going about, this place is just a bit too creepy for me."
Lili anxiously waited for her mother's response, but Accalia didn't even turn to look at her. Accalia held one hand on the tree as she then gestured for Lili to come closer.
Not wanting to disappoint, Lili walked to her mother's side who then looked at her with worry in her eyes as she said.
"Please Lili, could you place your hands upon the tree and tell me what you see."
Nodding her head Lili didn't hesitate to do as her mother said. She too wanted to touch the tree. Through her touch she could try and find a better understanding of the tree.
Placing her hands upon the trees old bark, Lili immediately felt the immense size and power of it. It almost felt like she was touching a solid mountain side. However this tree was old and it's once solid structure was not as strong as it once probably had been.
She could feel the weakness of the bark in her hands and how it could be made to crumble with her mere touch.
Closing her one good eye, Lili used her vision to look inside of the tree. There she saw nothing but a thick layer of sickening darkness. The darkness was infective, it made her feel sick down to her core. She wanted to let go and step away, but something told her to look closer and so she did.
Pushing past the sickening darkness and in to the trees core, down to it's very origins. There Lili found a small light. Despite the ever increasing darkness around it the light shined unlike anything she had ever before seen, it was a brilliant green glow. A glow full of life and energy, a glow that radiated natures beauty and strength.
The glow of it immediately radiated within Lili and she could feel it's warm life energy connecting with her own core of magical healing light. She felt at home, she felt that her and the trees lights were connected. They were like Jing and Jang, and in this case she couldn't help but feel that she was the darker one, the one whose light was not as pure as the others.
The thought of this made Lili feel sad, she felt as if she had failed yet again. Had her negative thoughts affected the purity of her healing light? Was she not worthy of its power? If so, then she was willing to change, and so she looked for answers in the tree.
Something inside her was telling her that this green glow wasn't what she was looking for, there was more to this tree. And so her magical core of light started reaching out even further into the tree. She and the tree felt connected as one and in the deep depths of it's brilliant core she finally found it.
There she could see a radiant pure light of white unlike anything she had ever seen. Lili couldn't quite understand it but she could feel the goodness within it, she could feel it's purity and what felt like holiness, a sense of divinity.
The feeling of it made her heart tremble with reverence. Compared to her own magical core of light, the trees light looked so small and yet she couldn't help but feel so inferior in front of it.
She felt like a small girl with a single candle in hand made to stand naked in front of the blinding light of the sun. She felt like she was standing in front of god. And so she fell to her knees in respect to this elderly light.
The sight of it made Lili feel humble. Despite its dying state and what must have been thousands or even tens of thousands of years of loneliness, the light still remained strong in its purity and divinity. It held no grudges, no hatred and no sorrow. All it desired was to help others, it wanted to help her.
Lili could feel it calling out to her. But why? It was clearly in need of help, help that Lili was more than happy to provide it, and yet it was the light that sought to reach out to help her.
This Lili couldn't understand, why would this elderly trees light wish to help her? What had she done to deserve this?
Lili could feel tiers coming to her one good eye. These were not tiers of sorrow, but of gratitude. Lili couldn't understand how this elderly tree could be so selfless? Even in its weakened state it only thought of the wellbeing of others and how it could help them. Not just others, but a complete stranger it had never even met before.
Then their lights touched and Lili didn't resist as its pure white light entangled itself with Lilis own light. A beam of pure white light traveled from it all the way to her yellow glowing core of light.
Immediately Lili started to feel a change taking effect. She could feel her body starting to purify itself of all impurities. Most of all she could feel a change happening in her mind.
She could feel herself coming into terms with all the bad that had happened in her life. Suddenly the hatred, regret, jealousy and all went away and we're replaced by a positive look upon life.
She could feel the hatred and resentment of her past going away. Forgiveness and a way of looking at all things in a positive lite started to become her new way of thinking.
Lili could also feel a change in her core of light. No more was it a brilliant yellow, but now it was a mix of a bright white and yellow. Her core seemed a lot purer than it had been before, but clearly she would still need a lot more work if she wanted to reach her full potential.
But overall her body felt a lot better than it had been before and her mind was a lot calmer than before. She felt like she had been reborn once more.
But this good feeling of rebirth was short lived, as then the trees light started to fade and as it did so, it quickly retreated back into the tree. Lili felt her heart skip a beat at the sight of this, the light was now even smaller than it had been before.
In desperation Lili started to sent her healing light back into the tree. The small ray of light travelled from her and into the sickening darkness of the tree. She tried to push through the darkness and into the core, but she couldn't. The darkness was too thick and the bright light inside the tree was no longer calling out to her.
Lili was sure that the light was still in the darkness somewhere. She just needed to find it. This she wanted to do, but her time was coming to its end yet again.
It seemed that the exhaustion of the day was finally coming to her. She had used her powers way too much, yet again. She would need to rest and find another way to heal this tree. Her healing powers just werent enough to see this done on its own. If she wished to heal this tree and see the light again, then she would need a lot more time.
With this in mind, Lili ended her magical sight and opened her eyes. Before her she could see her dainty little hands touching the tree in high definition.
Looking at this she noticed that the skin on her arms was a perfect milky white colour, without any roughness or imperfections. Sure her skin had been quite perfect before, but now it looked even better.
Both her arms looked great at the same time and this confused her. How could she see both of her arms so clearly now? With only one eye she shouldn't be able to see so much and yet she did.
Then she heard her mother's shocked voice next to her as she said.
"Oh my god. Lili, your face."
Lilis heart rate quickened as she thought to herself. Wait, what? What's wrong with my face now?
Placing her hands upon her face she was immediately shocked to feel the smoothness of it. It seemed like she held no scars there anymore and even her left eye seemed to be fully intact.
Suddenly Accalia fell next to her on her knees and grabbed Lilis face into her furry hands as she said.
"Lili, your. Your face is beautiful. I just knew it. All you had to do was heal yourself and you could become even more stunning than that woman depicted in the statue. Oh, I can already see it, men coming from all over the world to fight for a chance to claim you as their own. Truly your future looks bright and full of babies."
Hearing her mother's words Lili could feel her face start to heat up in embarrassment. Unnable to take it she pushed her naked furry mother's hands away and said.
"Oh, stop exaggerating mother. Why would people from all over be coming for a nobody with nothing but a beautiful face. Besides I don't think people are like that, don't people usually care more about a person's personality and their ability to provide for the family, rather than their appearance. Who cares about a pretty face."
A smile came to Accalias furry face as she patted Lili on her head and said.
"Hahaha, seems like you still have a lot to learn about men."
Hearing this, Lili couldn't help but feel that she had gotten something just now mixed up. But then Accalia seemed to turn serious as she said.
"Tell me Lili, what did you see? Do you think that you can heal this tree?"
Nodding her head at Accalias words Lili felt pretty confident as she then said.
"Yes, I think it's possible, but I'm not a hundred percent sure just yet."
With that said the two of them quickly went to work. Their plan was quite simple. Lili would start converting regular stones in the muddy fields to light stones and Accalia would then distribute them evenly around the place.
Of course this was easier said than done. Already after the first few stones Lili started to feel light headed and so they decided to do something else.
Looking to the square shaped structure that was covered in moss, Lili felt it to be worth a look.
For a while they looked around the outside of the building and quickly realised that what they were circling around was only the second floor of the square building.
Realising this Accalia decided to have Lili rest as she used her furry form to dig out the first level. Seeing no reason to complain about this, Lili found a small patch of grass and quickly felt herself falling asleep.
