"Its been a week since the grandpa who's name turned out to be Paul took me to his house. It didn't take him too long to realize that I was summoned from another world, I mean I wasn't exactly summoned, but rather reincarnated into a body that was created by the goddess in this world, but atleast he understands that im from another world." He says to himself while lying on the bed in a cozy. He is now wearing some peasant clothes instead of his school uniform, he doesn't know where the uniform is, because he couldn't ask the grandpa.
"The grandpa is teaching me the language of this world by force. I've tried to run away from this house, but each time he got me and dragged me into the house again." He adds and then looks at the ceeling following a sigh.
"The grandpa probably was a knight or some adventurer back in his days, because he is strong as hell."
He then scratches the back of his head.
"I'm starting to understand this language a bit because it's kinda similiar in a way I cannot describe or get, but atleast the letters here are the same ones I've used in my former world."
"I think that after all the grandpa is not a bad person, he probably just wants to help me, so I think I'll give my best." He says in a determined tone.
"Brat! Come here it's time for your language lesson!" The old man says loudly.
"I think he wants me to come to his language lesson, just like always." He says to himself and sighs.
In the middle of the lesson the grandpa gives him a paper and writes down some words on it with his coal pen.
The Grandpa picks up loaf of bread and points at a word "daerb".
Creator imiedatly realizes something that he hasn't even noticed before, its so embarassing that he burries his face into his hands.
"How come I have not realized it before... the similiarities between our languages... those are the same words with the same meaning... it's just that the letters are swapped in those words. This world is the complete contrast of the one I was born in. Contrast can be also taken as opposite. In my language Bread is written "bread", but in this language it's written "daerb"!"
"How the hell haven't I noticed that it's just written in reverseddd Englishhhh!!!"
"I mean how could I notice before right? This is the first time I'm seeing the words written down!" He adds with annoyance on his face and a pouty tone to his voice.
As he is speaking to himself, the Grandpa looks at him in confusion, because he doesn't know if Creator is indirectly insulting him or what.
Creator looks at the grandpa and then points at his pen and gestures him to give it.
The grandpa seems confused for a moment, but then he realizes what the boy meant and reaches the pencil out to him.
Creator takes the pencil and imiedatly starts to write something on the paper. He writes down "Hello, my name is Creator".
"H-He... hello... my... na-ame... is... Creator..." He says in the other language, or atleast he tries to.
Its simple how he did it, he just read everything except the name back to front, of course he is not fluent in it, but it's still understandable.
The Grandpa's eyes widen as he hears Creator speak in his language. He then takes the pencil away from him and writes something down.
"Do you need a piece of paper to communicate?" The grandpa says after writing the same sentence down.
Creator looks down at the sentence and he takes the coal pencil away from the grandpa.
He then starts to write something on the paper and he tries to read it.
"Yeah... so-mething... to write on... tha-at... wo-ould c-come in handy..."
The grandpa gets off his chair and walks up to a drawer, then he takes out another coal pencil and more paper from it.
He writes something down.
"So where are you from kid?" He says trying to make sure that Creator is the person he thinks he is.
Creator writes something down again.
"I am fro-om an.. anot-her wo...world." He responds quickly.
"Ah, so youre a hero! Just like I thought!" The grandpa says and writes it down on the paper.
Creator reads it and nods, he then tries to say something without the help of writing.
"Y-yes... I am!" He says with only one stutter.
The grandpa is surprised at how fast Creator is adapting to the language.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, Creator's stomach starts rumbling.
"Ah it seems youre hungry boy, what about some soup and bread huh?" The grandpa says and writes it down on the paper.
Creator reads it and tries to speak in the other language again without any help.
"Wait!" He says after a moment without even stuttering. It seems that he has trouble and needs help, only when it comes to sentences that include multiple long words.
The grandpa smiles at creator and starts to write.
"What is it kiddo?" The grandpa says after writing it down.
Creator reads it and imiedatly starts to write himself. After a minute he starts to read.
"I... need you... to take... me to the... ca-pi...capital." He says, stuttering muliple times, but still making it somehow understandable.
The grandpa smiles and stars to write once again.
"Don't worry, I was planning in taking you there as soon as you've confirmed that you're a hero." The grandpa says and stops writing.
Creator starts to read it and it takes him about a minute to do so.
"Thanks" He says without writing it down.
The grandpa starts to write once again.
"Oh yeah kiddo, im sorry for hitting you when we met. Stupid me thought that you're trying to make fun of me or something." The grandpa says after putting the pencil away.
He then stands up from the chair when Creator is reading and gives him a little bow.
"I'm really sorry." He says with a hint of embarrassment in his voice
Creator looks at the grandpa and smiles awkwardly.
"No... do-don't ap-apo...apologize! Every-everyth... Everything is... fine!" He says and holds his hands out to him gesturing him to stop apologizing.
"Oh god this is so annoying... I can't even reassure anyone without stuttering, but what was I expecting? That I will learn the literally alternative language in 7 days? Huh? But wait a sec? I understood what the old man said... the "I'm really sorry" part. Does it mean that my brain is already adapting?" He smiles to himself in confusion and then puts his hand together like if he is praying, he then looks at the ceeling.
"I take back everything I said about you before, thank you ooo Great Goddess for this wonderful body!" He says with a blissful expression on his face.
The Goddess Erina looks down at him from her realm and smirks with pride.
"Hah, finally he acknowledged my greatness! I bet that he will start calling me "mama" out of respect in no time haha!" She says to herself in a happy tone.
The grandpa just looks at him with confused expression that is literally saying "What the hell did he just say?".
The grandpa sits down once again and writes something on the paper and hands it to Creator.
Creator "translates" it to his language as grandpa speaks so he can understand.
"I'm gonna go make the soup and yknow what kiddo?" He says trying to get some excitement into Creator, but then he remembered that he had written everything down on the piece of paper.
He points at a door next to the entrance and sighs.
"Go there and choose something for yourself kiddo." He adds while going to the kitchen.
It takes Creator some time to "translate" what the grandpa said.
"Choose something huh? I wonder what the hell is that grandpa talking about." He says as he looks up he realizes that the grandpa is gone, he didn't see that the grandpa was pointing at the door.
"Huh...?"
"Oh... that old man probably decided to make that soup he was yapping about the whole time." He adds after thinking for a moment.
He then stands up from the chair and looks around.
"Basement, basement, basement... where could the entrance be?" He wonders for a moment, but then he spots an old wooden door.
He slowly walks towards it and opens it gently, but the door creaks loudly anyways.
He slowly starts to walk down the dark stairs.
"Its so dark in here... any lightning?I dont know? Maybe a coal torch?" He says while rolling his eyes.
Suddenly he steps almost collapses on the stairs, because he has stepped onto something.
He reaches down to pick it up, its a coal torch? In the middle of the staircase? Wait... he didn't step onto the torch because it would snap.
He looks down at his shoe sole and sees a lot of rat shit on it.
"Oh? Really? Oh my god I'm so lucky! Thank you for the luck oo great Goddess" He says sarcasticaly as he raises the torch with an annoyed look on his face.
He brushes the coal torch against the wall lighting it up.
He brushes the shit off against every stair he passes by and after a few more steps he finds himself in a room with various amount of weapons and 4 torches on the walls.
He walks up to every torch and lights it up, then extinguishes the fire from the torch he was holding.
He then looks at all the weapons.
"Longswords... broadswords, daggers, bows..." He looks at every weapon closely and then he spots one weapon.
"No way... is this a katana?!" His eyes shine with excitement and he picks up the katana that's inside of its black saya.
"I've always wanted to visit Japan and get buy some katana even if it was just a toy for kids..." He says with childish excitement in his eyes as he starts to pull the blade out of its saya. His eyes widen in surprise by how beautiful the katana is. The tsuka is red, the tsuba is golden and resembles the omega letter in its shape, the menuka is silver and the yakiba is black.
"Such an beautiful sword... but why does this grandpa even have a katana in the first place? Don't tell me that there is some Japanese culture in this world left after previous heroes who may have been Japanese?" He says while putting the katana back into its saya.
Suddenly footsteps echoe throughout the basement. The grandpa pats his shoulder with a smile on his face and starts to write something in an blank book.
Creator jumps in surprise and turns around to see the grandpa smiling.
The Grandpa puts the book and the pencil on Creator's free hand and Creator starts to "translate" as the Grandpa's speaking.
"That's an interesting choice kiddo. This sword was designed on the previous hero's request! It is called a "katana"." The grandpa says kindly.
Creator then puts the katana down and starts writing.
After about 30 seconds he starts to speak.
"Can... I... ha-have... it?" He asks, stuttering like always.
The grandpa takes the pencil and the book away from Creator, he then starts to write while speaking.
"Normally I would not give it to anyone, but youre a different case kiddo. Youre one of the new heroes so I think that you are the person who should be the master of this weapon." The grandpa says kindly while giving the book to him.
After reading everything Creator looks up at the grandpa and speaks without any "translations".
"Thank you!" He says in a thankful tone.
Later they are both eating the soup the grandpa made, the katana is now in its Saya lying against Creator's chair.
Creator is eating the soup like if its an no % speedrun in beating minecraft, so the grandpa knows that the soup is tasty and he smiles at Creator.
After a couple of minutes Creator finishes eating his portion of the soup and leans back on the chair.
"Thank you... for... the m-e...mea-...meal." He says looking at the grandpa with graditute.
The grandpa then starts writing in the same book from before that's lying on the table.
"I need to go get something, I will be right back kiddo." The grandpa says and leaves the room after giving the book to Creator for him to "translate".
"Mhm"
After a couple of minutes the grandpa comes back with some clothes, the clothes are nothing other than Creator's school uniform!
The grandpa hands the clothes over to Creator and then takes the book and starts writing in it while speaking.
"Your clothes were bloodied a little so I've decided to wash them for you. After all I was the one who got them dirty right?" The grandpa says and hands the book over to Creator.
Creator reads it all and nods murmuring a "Thank you" under his nose.
The grandpa takes the book again and starts to write while speaking once again.
"Put them on and let's travel to the capital, right?!" The grandpa says in excited tone while smiling at him.
As soon as Creator had "translated" what the grandpa said, he took the clothes along with the katana.
The grandpa smiled and took it as a "yes".
After two minutes Creator enters the room and sees the grandpa next to the entrance door. The Grandpa now has two broadswords sheated on his back and Creator is back in his school uniform, but now he has the katana in the belt.
"Let's go kiddo!" The grandpa says in a cheerful tone and starts to write in the book.
"Ye-...yeah!" Creator responds in excitement before the grandpa could even write down what he has said.
The grandpa looks at him in surprise for a moment, but then he smirks and opens the door.
The two leave the house.
This is how the adventure began for Creator, a guy who just wanted to see his little sister again.
