Chapter 5 - Discovery

Discovery...

As the days turned into weeks as I settled into Hawkridge Village as my first base of operation. With each morning new fun get unrivaled whenever it's Discovering new food or discovering around these place and it's surrounding, The villagers, once wary of my arrival, had gradually accepted me as one of their own. They shared stories of their lives, their struggles, and the mysteries that surrounded the Astern forest

One nighty morning, I decided to venture beyond the village outskirts. Hand with a map from the inn keeper as i wondered around the outskirt while occasionally looking at the map but i noticed i didn't actually need it as these place was actually very vivid at me could it be that Omniscient ability i had? Never less i stored the map in my bag as i continue to explore the outskirt while following my memory

As I hiked through the dense forest at the edge of Hawkridge, the air grew cooler and the area became ominous, and the sounds of civilization faded into the rustling leaves and chirping birds. I was shock at the attention to detail in the environment—each tree, rock, and animal felt meticulously crafted, as if I had personally sculpted them but i shurg it off as i realize these area was the Goblin and hobo goblin Territory, they were named as the Noobies killer due to their high attack and defence making them hard to kill hence i grabbed a small rock and branch as i crafted a nice sharp spear using the sharp rock to Sharpen the tip of the branch.

As I cautiously proceeded deeper into the forest, my senses heightened. I kept a vigilant eye out for any signs of movement or danger. The ground beneath my feet felt solid and real, grounding me in this fantastical yet perilous world. I tightened my grip on the makeshift weapon I had created earlier—a sturdy spesr from what i created earlier—ready to defend myself if need be

Suddenly, a rustling sound alerted me to nearby movement. I froze, scanning the surrounding foliage with heightened alertness. A pair of beady eyes peered at me from behind a gnarled tree trunk—a Goblin scout, sizing me up with calculating intelligence. Before I could react, several more figures emerged from the shadows, armed with crude weapons and wearing scavenged armor as i swallowed my saliva in fear but also a sense of provocation as i made a nervous look as i knew one wrong more is equal to my own pitiful death in these Creation of mine.

As my primal Instinct kicked in as adrenaline surged through my veins. Without hesitation, I raised my sharp makeshift spear that's far below their own weapons, i prepared to face the challenge head-on. The Goblins chattered amongst themselves in their guttural language, their intent clear—they saw me as prey, an intruder in their territory as they laughed around me as they just see me as a weak pitiful prey only to be eaten like a poor lone sheep.

As i clench my teeth as vein popped in my neck clearly pissed off at they mocking as i Taked a deep breath, I steadied my pissed nerves and focused on the skills i had:  high critical thinking, adaptation to new challenges, and the Curse of the Challenge Beast. Drawing upon my knowledge of game mechanics and strategic thinking, I formulated a plan. With calculated precision, I maneuvered to a defensive position, using the terrain and memories of the terrain as i created them to my advantage

The first Goblin lunged at me with surprising speed, but I anticipated its move and sidestepped, delivering a swift kick to its plexus. It yelped in pain as it was stun as a kick in the plexus was stunning pain, it was momentarily stunned by the counterattack. Seizing the opportunity, I pressed my advantage, swiftly striking it with my sharp spear as the spear hit it's abdomen spitting out huge amount of blood as i stared af it with pure fear as i cannot believe i killed someone as i was in a moment of fear as a goblin lunge at me making a scratch in my face which instantly send me out that state as i immediately kicked that goblin as i scaned the area for an emergency escape route as the moment was intense, each moment fraught with adrenaline-fueled action and strategic calculation. Sweat mingled with the dirt on my brow as I fought with determination and resilience. Gradually, the Goblins began to falter in fear, their initial cockines instantly turned into fear as they were giving way to fear and confusion. One by one, they retreated into the shadows, vanishing as quickly as they had appeared.

Breathing heavily, I lowered my sharp spesr filled with blood, the rush of battle still coursing through my veins. I had survived my first encounter with those creatures yet i emerged victorious yet humbled by the experience. As I stood amidst the aftermath of the skirmish, a newfound sense of accomplishment as i yelled in happiness as i wiped off the sweat and blood from the scratch as i smiled happily at the victory moment with that i slowly continued my journey through the Astern Forest, eager to survive and become the Apex predator of all.
