Eiden shook his head and smiled, "no nothing, I just remembered an incident". Why did it only occur to him now? If they had the wish orb, why not just wish the beasts never existed in the first place?
Eiden's mind trailed back to the day Ren Xing saved them, he mentioned that the teleportation crystals which he used didn't work on the beasts, perhaps the orb doesn't work either.
His mind was centered on two possibilities but he hoped it was the latter and not the former.
As they strode along, Gabbie was eager to know "how did the commander know we were four, he hasn't been stalking us has he?"
Jason shook his head "he was the one that saved us that day of the stampede, he said your body couldn't handle teleportation that's why you blacked out"
"Huh…" She nodded in realization before smacking her forehead "here I was suggesting we wipe the memory of our savior"
