Stacey woke up, bright and early with a readiness to face whatever the day threw her way. The recent occurrences in her life had taught her to take things one day at a time, irrespective of the magnitude.
After the altercation with her dad the previous day, she had been doing a good job of avoiding running into him. He was grumpy and easily irritated, thanks to a lot of factors; especially, her mum's health.
She purposed to drop by the hospital on her way to the office, to check on her mum before the slated surgery later that morning. She couldn't stand being through it all, but at the same time she couldn't live with herself if she didn't stop over to encourage her, before her dad's arrival.
So after her morning yoga session, she took a cold shower and got dressed in a grey pant suit, cream colored camisole, and paired it with black stilettos. She was going for an elegant and confident look… and she sure nailed it.
