Fredrick's lips curved into a smirk. "I put a tracking device on Stacey."
"You did? How?" The questions flew out of Alexander's mouth before he could do anything to stop them. He cleared his throat and pretended to rub his neck; hopefully he didn't seem too eager or they would get suspicious.
"Oh my! That's genius. Why didn't I think of that?" James exclaimed, getting to his feet.
Good! Everyone was as eager as he seemed. Alexander sent a 'thank you' prayer up to whoever was listening, and made a mental note to remain as quiet as he could be.
"Oh…" Adelaide snapped her fingers as it came together in her head. "The necklace she was wearing. You put it there right?"
"Yes. I had it installed some days ago and gave it to her after the rehearsal dinner yesterday." Fredrick explained. "I was afraid that something like this might happen, and I wanted to be prepared."
Louisa's brow furrowed. "But why didn't you tell us?" she asked.
