Everyone was seated at least fifteen minutes before the meeting was supposed to start. There were whispers all over the hall, hushed deliberations and arguments until Azrael made his entrance. Everywhere became so quiet that if you paid the slightest attention to listening, you would hear the heartbeat of the person sitting next to you.
