Moving quickly, Augustus sent Iron Man to survey the lands surrounding Mariejois to find any survivors from the Gorosei and locate Imu.
Aizen was sent to deal with the Revolutionary Army, while Godfrey and Augustus appeared at the new Marineford under construction to bring it under their control.
Currently, inside a meeting room, Augustus was sitting on a chair facing Garp, Tsuru, Sengoku, and the Admirals.
"You have no choice if you want to maintain your justice over the sea. Join us, and if you try to go independent, we will destroy you," Augustus stated bluntly, something none of them could even begin to accept.
Even Garp, who was wavering in his belief in the Marines, did not want to surrender the Navy under Augustus.
To wrap this up, Akainu fights Godfrey and loses an arm. Garp makes up his mind and attacks Godfrey, only for Godfrey to decapitate Garp, killing him.
The two remaining Admirals attack Godfrey with all their power, and Godfrey counters. The shockwave was so massive that the new Marineford almost collapsed.
A huge battle breaks out. The Marineford is destroyed, and none of the top four survive except for the rest of the Vice Admirals not in the meeting.
The general Marines were not harmed.
Meanwhile, at the Revolutionary Army, a similar type of destruction unfolds, with the dead body of Dragon lying on the ground along with the rest of the Revolutionary top members, including Sabo.
The island is essentially destroyed in the battle as well.
Stark discovers Imu, badly injured and constantly being damaged by radiation, yet regenerating, stuck in a state of constant agony.
Imu is now under constant supervision by Tony.
News from Morgans is released at this time, spreading what Augustus wanted the world to know.
He was the new ruler of the world. "Submit or die" was what he declared.
In a matter of 10 days after that, all the Emperors and One Piece characters who had potential significance in the pirate category were wiped out, including Buggy, Luffy, and their crews.
Kingdoms could either submit or be left alone. It was a fair choice Augustus gave, but if a war were to start between a protected and an unprotected kingdom, the unprotected kingdom would essentially be declaring war on all protected kingdoms.
This didn't leave much of a choice for these kingdoms, so they could only submit.
This all occurred within a span of a month.
From here, these kingdoms experienced great improvements in almost all aspects, which led to the citizens living a much higher quality of life.
The anger towards and the image of absolute dictatorship also slowly began disappearing from the Glofield Kingdom.
The era of pirates also began to wane as, with better living conditions, people didn't have much of a reason to set out to sea.
