Just when Rob was thinking about whether Kaido would come to seek revenge on him, a skewer of grilled squid was handed to his mouth. He glanced at Robin, who was feeding him, and Rob took a bite of the spicy grilled squid with a smile.
Seeing Rob take a bite of the grilled squid she fed him, Robin had a satisfied expression on her face.
"Oni-chan, your expression is very serious! What's going on?" she asked, nodding.
Rob casually replied, "Jack didn't die. He was rescued by the Beasts Pirates and taken back to Wanokuni."
Robin's eyes turned serious as she understood the implications of Jack's return to the Beasts Pirates.
"In that case, we need to be more careful on our voyage," she said in a slightly serious tone.
Rob shrugged with a casual expression on his face. "It doesn't matter! This battle is inevitable, it's just a matter of time. Whether Kaido comes or not, I will fight!"
As he walked ahead, Rob had a thoughtful look on his face and continued, "However, the Beasts Pirates are a large force. If they move in full strength, it will be a significant threat to both of you. So if there's a way, we need to ensure that Kaido has to come alone."
Robin and Uta followed Rob's footsteps. Uta was still eating the snack in her hand. She was too young to make any comments on this kind of discussion, so she stayed quiet.
With the invincible Oni-chan and the smart Onee-chan around, she didn't need to worry too much about these things as a young singer.
Tilting her head, Robin pointed her finger at her chin and made a suggestion. "How about the Red-haired pirates? When we were in East Blue before, he used one of his favors to ask Oni-chan to build that sword for him quickly."
"As long as the Red-haired pirates show up in the waters near Wanokuni, they don't need to fight the Beasts Pirates. This way, even if Kaido comes for revenge, they won't dare to act in large groups!"
Rob stroked his chin and raised his eyebrows. "This is indeed a very good idea! But this way, our troubles will be solved, and the contradictions between the Red Hair Pirates and the Beasts Pirates will accumulate."
With her hands behind her back, a dark smile appeared on Robin's face as she stuck out her little tongue.
"The Red-haired pirates are still one of the New World's big pirate crews. Naturally, they will be hostile to other pirate groups, including the current New World 'Three Overlords.' So I think there is no problem!" she said.
"But if Oni-chan thinks it's not good, then forget it! According to what Oni-chan thought before, although the current Beasts Pirates have become one of the overlords of the New World, they are not absolutely unshakable!"
"Kaido may not choose to take revenge on us at this time! And Oni-chan doesn't need to worry too much. I've become stronger! I can at least protect myself and Uta."
After listening to Robin's analysis, a smile appeared on Rob's face, and he looked at Robin with burning eyes, fully agreeing with her proposal and analysis. Although it sounds immoral to transfer the conflict to the Red Hair Pirates, Rob himself has a flexible moral bottom line. He can be like a saint with high moral sentiments at any time or become someone with no morals at any time, so he naturally didn't object to Robin's suggestion.
Honestly, if possible, Rob didn't want to think about so many things. It would be easy to just not settle the matter, but unfortunately, the dispute with the Beasts Pirates came too fast, and Rob wasn't fully prepared yet. Now that Robin had come up with an idea, and it was quite good, Rob was too lazy to think further.
Nodding directly, he agreed, "Yoshi! Let's do as you said! That red-haired guy can't get away without doing me a favor!"
Rob looked at Robin with emotion. "You've grown, Robin."
The little girl who used to only listen to him had now gradually turned into someone who could think for herself, have her own opinions, and even have her own plans. This was a good thing, and for Robin's growth, Rob was happy to see it.
"Hee hee hee...," Robin laughed, her face rosy. "I won't always be a little girl who only seeks protection! Oni-chan... Please watch me grow up! Is that okay?"
Rob glanced up at her and nodded with a smile. "I'll always be watching you!"
After deciding how to solve the matter, Rob didn't want to change Robin's arrangement. Once they returned to their residence in the town, Rob dialed the Den Den Mushi number belonging to Shanks.
"Moshi, Moshi! This is Shanks!"
The Den Den Mushi quickly connected, and Shanks' voice came through. Looking at the phone with Shanks' distinctive red-haired features, Rob grinned.
"Yo! How's it going, Shanks? It's me, Rob!"
Hearing Rob, the Den Den Mushi's eyes lit up in sync with Shanks. "Oh! Rob? Long time no see! Where have you been lately? Want to come to my place for some fun? I'll throw a banquet for you!"
Rob opened his mouth to refuse. "No! I have my own voyage plan, and if I meet with you too many times, the Marines and World Government won't sit still! This time, I'm looking for you because I've encountered a troublesome situation. I need a favor!"
On the small island occupied by the Red Hair Pirates.
While answering the Den Den Mushi, Shanks was still looking at a newspaper with a headline about Jack from the Beasts Pirates being seriously injured by a mysterious person. A subtle thought arose in his mind.
Tentatively, he asked, "Rob, does this trouble... involve the Beasts Pirates?"
Rob replied with some surprise, "Huh? You're getting smarter, Shanks! You guessed it right! A few days ago, I encountered Jack from the Beasts Pirates at sea. This guy is very arrogant! As soon as he appeared, he directly attacked my ship for no reason! Can I be quiet? I am the 'world's number one swordsman'! So, I took a small shot and gave him a strong shock!"
Hearing Rob's words, even Shanks couldn't maintain his usual humor. You call a near-fatal wound a small shock?
At this moment, Shanks sincerely felt that Rob might be much crazier than he had imagined.
"So, what are you asking for, Rob?" Shanks asked, his voice now serious.
Rob smiled and continued, "Although I don't care about power, I have to admit that as an overlord of the sea in the New World, the Beasts Pirates are quite powerful. I have no problem with Kaido himself! But if I want to take on the entire Beasts Pirates alone, it's not feasible."
"I want you to help me contain Kaido's subordinates, and let Kaido come to me alone! Now, Kaido has the title of the strongest creature, right? He is my target!"
Rob paused for a moment before asking, "May I count on you?"
Hearing Rob's request, Shanks had a pained expression on his face. He replied a bit helplessly, "Beasts Pirates? It will be very difficult for me to deal with them now! And Robโis this the favor you want me to repay? If so, then it's up to you."
After pondering for a moment, Rob opened his mouth and said:
"No! I didn't take that favor from East Blue to heart! This time, it's just a simple request between friends! Of course, if you help me contain Kaido's subordinates, I'll help you become the new sea overlord when you're ready! How about it?"
Rob knew that while Shanks was a man of his word, he also deeply cared about his crew. If it were just a favor, Shanks might refuse to risk his crew, but as a friend's request, he was more likely to agree.
Hearing Rob's answer, Shanks' eyes flickered slightly, and the corners of his mouth rose. After glancing at Beckman and the others nearby, he said in a deep voice, "Give me a time limit, Rob. You can't expect me to keep watching around Wanokuni indefinitely, can you?"
As expected, Shanks agreed. Rob showed a satisfied expression and then considered the time limit Shanks needed. He gave a specific time, "Then two months! I'll stay on a certain island for two months. If Kaido doesn't come within two months, it means he won't come for revenge for now."
Hearing the two-month time limit, Shanks agreed directly, "Rob, you owe me a banquet!"
Nodding, Rob casually said, "Okay! Next time we meet, I'll buy you a drink! Then I'll leave this matter to you."
Shanks responded, "Got it! Kaido's subordinates, leave them to me. But Kaido himself, I can't stop him right now. Rob, you handle him yourself and be careful! Kaido is very strong!"
Rob's tone was relaxed and casual, "Hmm! I know Kaido is strong...but, I am stronger than him!"
Strong confidence flashed in his eyes. Rob spoke again, "I will win easily!"
