only a single person remained standing, his unwavering gaze fixed on the dark clouds as he identified something lurking within.
He looked in the direction of the main building
" they should be equal in terms of mana, but..."
his voice cuts off as he noticed his torned and burnt uniform
"my uniform is completely burnt, I won't be able to wear it anymore, thanks to these queen"
said lugh who had been angered due to the loss of his uniform
"She should be able to take on the dark Emperor. I will come back after I find myself some clothes" said lugh as he walked away to find a change of clothes
( When lugh was fighting the queens both Lisa and merlin were able to reach the philosopher stone before the emperor )
"So, this is the philosopher stone, its beautiful" said Lisa who was amazed after seeing its beauty
"No way, what going on ?" Said merlin with a confused face
"Why, what happened "
Lisa asked merlin to which merlin replies
"this philosopher stone wasn't supposed to possess this much mana, if this much mana gets possessed by the emperor then-"
merlin stops talking as she heard footsteps, she turned in the direction of the entrance to the vault
"Is that?" Asked Lisa to merlin
"even though we were able to reach the philosopher stone, it doesn't matter because he is already here"
The sound of the footsteps grew louder and a black figure walked in through the broken entrance
"what could you be doing here Vandrot ?" Said the dark figure
the pressure carried by his speech could be sensed by lisa

"A week ago Aeitr reported me something very interesting, the report said that you had betrayed the organization and I'm curious as to how much of that is true?" Asked the dark Emperor in a serious tone
Merlin couldn't say a single word because of how scared she was
"I'll take your silence as you admitting your betrayal "
In the blink of an eye the emperor was infront Merlin's face
Lisa was confused, she couldn't even keep up with his speed, but, sensing danger she instinctively brought out Vondgeir from her source and attacked the emperor which he stopped with a sword that materialized out of dark mist, he kicked Lisa.
Due to the force of the kick she was thrown all the way back into the wall causing the wall to shatter
"Now to deal with the traitor"
His blade went through merlin piercing her chest, he took out his blade only to thrust it into her again
Her eyesight began to get blurry as she fell on the ground, blood started flowing non stop
Emperor coldly walked over her body to the philosopher stone, but, stopped after he sensed immense mana
He turns in the direction of the mana and sees Lisa who was holding vondgeir imbued with mana was in front of him
As she launched a thrust towards him, he blocked it with the flat side of his blade
Dark Emperor POV [how did she close the distance in the blink of an eye, this 😳 isn't teportation magic, it was pure speed]
"Impressive" said the dark Emperor as he jumped back to create distance between him and lisa
"HEIL" Said Lisa as she pointed vondgeir towards merlin and a magjc circle formed beneath merlin
"Unfortunately, you are late, by casting healing magic you have only prolonged her life, she won't survive" said the dark Emperor
"I dont care what you say, I'm not scared of you anymore," said Lisa fearlessly in a serious tone
Lisa started to imbue a lot of mana into vondgeir making it stronger, she then enhanced her physical abilities using mana
[Even after splitting the mana usage for three different purposes, she is not affected by it at all, she possesses immense mana] the dark
Emperor thought as he noticed Lisa's immense mana
"Are you going to fight me?" Said the dark Emperor
"Ofcource" Lisa answered with a serious face

Lisa closed the distance between her and the Emperor in a blink of an eye which even surprised him
she thrusted vondgeir with such force that even though he was able to block it he was still knocked back
Seizing the opportunity Lisa strengthened the healing spell on merlin
A scary laugh started to eco in the vault, the laugh gave Lisa goosebumps. Dark Emperor started walking towards her
"Lisa, the Ace Ranker of the magic faculty of Einvalla, I offer you to join my kingdom as a replacement for vandrot who's dead"
"I refuse" answered Lisa who was serious
"Such a shame"
"What ??"
Dark Emperor was standing right next to Lisa, the speed at which he traveled was unfathomable for her
He swung his blade at her which she was barely able to block and jumped back to make some distance between them
Dark Emperor vanished into thin air from Lisa's sight
She noticed that he was standing behind her and attacked, but, he vanished
She started to look around to findi him, but he was nowhere to be seen
"You are really entertaining "
A blade pierced through Lisa's chest from behind
"But, sadly this is where you die, lisa"
Lisa fell to ground, blood flowing continuously
Emperor started to walk away, and looks at merlin
(Heil spell that girl casted is still in effect? How?)
"No,wait"
He turned around in a hurry and vondgeirr completely perced through his chest
He hurriedly took out the magical sceptre and threw it away
"How?!" Emperor screamed in anger
"Vondgeirr" the magical sceptre flew in Lisa's hand
"How are you still alive...?"
Dark Emperor looks at the completely healed wound on Lisa's chest
"How??"
"Where the hell did you get the rune of hydra from !!!" Dark Emperor screamed towards Lisa
She looked at vondgeirr and remembered that back in the academy lugh did something to vondgeir
Lisa smiles
"Nothing much, dark Emperor, I'm protected by someone very powerful"
said Lisa with a smile
"Huh??"
Vondgeirr started acting weird as it started to glow and emit alot of mana
Lisa held the vondgier in confusion
The immense light subsides and a different form of vondgierr unravels
"What is this..?" exclaimed lisa
"No way?"
Lisa looks at completely healed Emperor who had a shocked expression upon seeing the new form of vondgeirr
"This changes everything, whether you like or not, you are coming with me "
He rushed towards Lisa and launched a serious attack which Lisa was barely able to dodge
Dark Emperor attacked Lisa continuously
Lisa was completely overpowered by him, but she found a opening and attacked his head which he dodged by tilting his head, his face was scratched
"You won't die from being pierced right? The next time you wake up we will be far away"
DARK Emperor thrusted his sword in Lisa's chest
Lisa closed her eyes

Lisa opens her eyes to see that she was fine
She looks at his blade which has blood all over it, though it's not her blood that's on it
This blood belongs to the man whose hand fearlessly grabbed the blade of dark Emperor
