"I understand your anger right now, but the person who captured you is gone. You're free!"

Ash placed his hand on the Axew's forehead, using his power to calm its rage. At the same time, he sent comforting thoughts into the Axew's mind.

With Ash's power suppressing its fury and the effects of Aromatherapy surrounding it, Axew's emotions began to settle.

The red glow in Axew's eyes gradually faded, and without the energy of its rage, a wave of exhaustion overcame it, causing Axew to collapse.

Seeing this, Ash quickly caught the Pokémon in his arms, realizing it had fainted. The Clefable nearby ceased their Aromatherapy, and a Clefairy hurried over to the group.

It seemed to be explaining the situation to its kin. Then, a Clefable approached Ash and the others, bowing deeply as if to express its gratitude.

"I can't believe there are so many Clefairy here! They're so rare to see usually. This must be where they all gather—it's incredible."

Seymour was thrilled, observing the large group of Clefairy and Clefable. This was a sight few people ever got to witness.

"Ash, what's going on? This Pokémon..." Misty asked as she came to Ash's side, concerned about the unfamiliar Pokémon in his arms.

"It's the Pokémon those poachers caught. It escaped during our battle and went on a rampage." Ash didn't turn away, his focus remaining on the unconscious Axew.

"How awful..." Misty looked at the fainted Axew with sympathy, feeling a deep disdain for the poachers.

Given how enraged it was, it must have been filled with hatred for those two, which is why it went wild. You can't blame it for acting out like that.

"What should we do now?"

"Don't worry, I contacted the police in Pewter City and Cerulean City. They know about the poachers, and those two won't escape, whether they head to Cerulean City or Pewter City. They've even sent officers up the mountain," Seymour said, smiling.

"Will the police come here?" Misty thought to herself, impressed by how reliable Seymour was in this critical moment.

"No, I asked them to wait for us where we first arrived. I... don't want anyone else finding this place." Seymour's eyes drifted toward the Meteorite in front of them as he spoke.

This is Clefairy's place, and the Meteorite belongs to them. The fewer people who know, the better. Even though he adored this place, he had no intention of returning here often.

This was the least he could do for the Clefairy, so when he notified the police, he didn't mention anything about the location.

The group could understand each other's feelings perfectly. As Trainers who deeply cared for Pokémon, they knew it was the right choice.

"They won't arrive until tomorrow morning, though."

"Tomorrow morning? So what do we do until then, Ash?" Misty turned to Ash, who had become the de facto leader of the group.

"Well, we can't leave now, so we'll just have to wait," Ash responded, glancing down at the still-unconscious Axew.

Those poachers couldn't have gotten far without capturing this Pokémon. Even though Axew was small, it weighed about forty pounds—carrying it would be a huge challenge in their situation.

"Then I'm going to set up camp here. This spot is spacious enough, so it's the perfect time to do it," Brock said with a satisfied grin, the corners of his mouth curling up.

He swung his backpack off his shoulders and let it drop to the ground with a heavy thud. No one knew just how much stuff Brock had packed in there, or how heavy it was.

Without wasting any time, Brock began setting up the campsite. He pitched the tent, laid out tables and chairs, and even unpacked pots, pans, and a bunch of fresh ingredients.

Misty and Seymour watched in astonishment, while Ash, already familiar with Brock's ways, was mentally prepared. He had always wondered how Brock managed to carry so many things, but after spending time in this world, he had a better understanding.

He didn't know all the details, but he understood that, since many Trainers in this world traveled frequently, special backpacks had been designed to carry a lot of items without changing shape. The technology was similar to that of Poké Balls. However, while the backpacks could hold a lot without bulging, they didn't reduce the weight, which meant carrying them was still a tough job—something Brock handled well.

Ash couldn't complain, though. Thanks to Brock, he and Misty could enjoy hot meals every day. Although Ash could cook, his focus on Pokémon training often left him with little time.

After setting up camp, Brock got to work preparing the food. The day had flown by with all the excitement, and as evening fell, the sky gradually darkened. The Axew still hadn't woken up.

Ash took off his coat and gently wrapped it around the small dragon, placing it beside the tent. Some of the Clefairies had wandered off, while others remained nearby.

A few Clefairies interacted with Ash and the others, while some played among themselves. To Misty, this place was a paradise, and she wished she could capture one of the Clefairy.

But seeing how happy they were together, she couldn't bear to separate them, so she decided to simply enjoy their company while she could.

As night fell, the Moonlight illuminated the Meteorite pit, causing the Moon Stone to emit a soft glow, casting a calm light over the area. The four of them sat at the table Brock had set up, which was now laden with a feast.

"All done! This is my special extravagant outdoor meal. Plus, I've made special Pokémon food for our Pokémon," Brock announced proudly, wearing an apron and holding a large iron spoon, clearly pleased with his work. He also set out food for the Pokémon, and Ash released his Eevee, though Magikarp stayed in its Poké Ball.

"You're amazing, Brock! Everything looks delicious! Time to dig in," Misty exclaimed, impressed by the spread. After all, Brock, who took care of ten younger siblings on his own, was a pro at taking care of others.
