Boom!!!

Pikachu's Thunder Shock hit the mechanical Gyarados, sparks wrapping around it in an instant.

However, after a moment, the electricity dissipated without causing any damage to the mechanical Gyarados.

"How come??"

Ash and the others were shocked.

"Ha! Luckily, we planned ahead and took measures to prevent Thunder Shock!" Jessie smirked. After suffering so many defeats from Ash, Team Rocket had learned their lesson.

Even though their target this time wasn't Ash and Pikachu, they were well prepared, and electric moves had no effect.

"Hey, Ash, can you handle this?" Gary asked anxiously. He hadn't brought any Pokémon with him and felt uneasy watching Ash struggle.

"Just watch! Axew, use Dragon Claw!" Ash called out, seeing that Pikachu's Thunder Shock was ineffective. He wasn't going to let Pikachu take another shot unnecessarily.

With a flick of his Poké Ball, Ash released Axew. The small dragon jumped forward, and with a command, blue energy formed around its claws. It slashed forward.

Boom!!!

Axew's claws cut through the air, leaving a bright streak before a loud crash echoed. A crack appeared on the body of the mechanical Gyarados.

Axew's Dragon Claw could slice through rock and even metal. Though the mechanical Gyarados was sturdy, it was no match for Axew's powerful attack.

"What kind of Pokémon is that...?" Gary was stunned. Even though he was Professor Oak's grandson, he'd never seen an Axew before.

"How could this happen!!"

Inside the mechanical Gyarados, Jessie, James, and Meowth were in a panic. They had focused so much on stopping Thunder Shock, they forgot to reinforce the outer shell.

"Charmander, use Flamethrower!"

Seizing the opportunity, Ash gave the order. Charmander immediately responded, targeting the opening Axew had created and unleashing a stream of flames.

"Chaaaaar!"

Boom! Boom!

The high-temperature flames poured into the mechanical Gyarados, heating it up from the inside.

"It's so hot, so hot!!!" Team Rocket, trapped inside, panicked as the heat overwhelmed them, causing their instruments to malfunction.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!!!

After a series of internal explosions, the mechanical Gyarados burst apart. The immense force sent Team Rocket flying into the sky.

"Ugh! We were so close!" Jessie, now charred, shouted in frustration, her fists clenched.

"Tomorrow, we'll be even deeper in debt!" James sobbed, thinking of the cost of the destroyed Gyarados. They were probably the most unfortunate villains.

"This is just our luck, meow!" Meowth sighed.

"What a Disgusting feeling!!"

With a final explosion, Team Rocket was sent blasting off again, disappearing into the sky as stars. The beach finally returned to peace. Gary stood silently, contemplating the battle, while Ash's Pokémon ran back to him. Ash crouched down to praise them for their excellent performance.

"Axew! It's rare to see one in the Kanto region, and the color is quite unique!"

At that moment, Professor Oak approached with the others. He was just as surprised to see Ash's Axew.

"Professor Oak, is this Pokémon special?" Delia asked curiously. She didn't know much about Axew, but it seemed like her son had caught something extraordinary.

"That's right! Axew is a Pokémon mainly found in the remote Unova Region. It's a rare and powerful Dragon-type Pokémon, even within Unova itself. It's almost never seen in Kanto."

"That's amazing, Ash!" Delia exclaimed, impressed by her son's achievement.

Dragon-type Pokémon are known for their strength, but their low reproductive rates make them especially rare. A Pokémon like Axew, which gains immense power after evolving, is already hard to find in Unova—let alone Kanto. Wild ones are practically unheard of in this region, and Ash's Axew, with its unique coloring, is even more exceptional.

Delia didn't know much about Dragon-type Pokémon, but she felt proud that Ash had caught such a strong and rare Pokémon. Watching the battle earlier, she realized just how much Ash had grown into a capable Trainer.

As Professor Oak explained this, his words seemed to have an unintended effect on Gary. Although Gary had captured more Pokémon than Ash, the rarity of Ash's Axew made it clear that Ash had something special. Gary couldn't help but feel the weight of his grandfather's words.

"Thank you so much, young man! You saved my yacht!" An old man approached Ash, gratitude evident in his voice as he shook Ash's hand.

"Oh, it was nothing. You don't have to thank me, really," Ash replied modestly, waving his hand.

"Grandpa, that was really reckless!" Misty said as she and the others joined the group. Earlier, the old man had rushed out toward the danger, causing them all to worry.

"I couldn't help it! This yacht is incredibly important to me—I can't afford to lose it!" The old man looked at his yacht and sighed with relief, clearly deeply attached to it.

"But you're about to lose it anyway, old man!" A discordant voice suddenly interrupted.

Everyone turned in surprise, looking for the source of the voice, but saw no one.

"Did someone just say something?" Brock asked, scanning the area curiously.

"I'm here, old man!!!" The voice shouted again, and as everyone looked down, they spotted a small, disheveled figure.

"Ahh!! The corpse's talking!" Misty shrieked, startled by the sight, and quickly hid behind Ash.
