"Little sister! You broke into someone else's backyard, yet you're still calling someone a thief? Let me teach you a lesson," Ariana sneered at Misty.

"Little girl, give her a good lesson, this Power Trip woman!" Jessie shouted, furious, forgetting her position entirely.

"Don't order us around! We'd do it anyway without you telling me," Misty snapped back, glaring at Ariana with an unfriendly expression.

Meanwhile, on the other side…

Eevee: Eevee! (Is that your relative?)

At this moment, the Pokémon who had been separated from Ash and the others were walking together, trying to find their friends, but it wasn't going smoothly. They soon encountered an obstacle blocking their path.

Several of the smaller Pokémon gathered together, staring at a figure in the distance that towered above the trees. Next to it, the trees seemed small.

From behind, the massive figure revealed a large brown tortoise shell with two enormous cannons extending from it. It was Blastoise, the final evolution of Squirtle. Eevee turned to Squirtle and asked.

Squirtle: Squirtle Squirt! (I don't know!)

Pikachu: Pika Pikachu! (Why don't you ask for directions!)

Squirtle: Squirtle? (Me?)

Nervously, Squirtle pointed to himself, swallowed hard, and saw the expectant looks from his friends. Realizing he couldn't back down, he carefully stepped out from the grass.

Squirtle: Ahem... Squirtle Squirt! (Hey! Brother! Hello!)

Trying to sound casual, Squirtle waved at the enormous Blastoise, who immediately turned and looked down at him.

Click!

The moment Blastoise heard the noise, the cannons on his shoulders shifted downward, aiming straight at Squirtle.

Squirtle: Squirtle??

Boom!!!

Water surged from Blastoise's cannons, shooting powerful streams directly toward Squirtle and Pikachu.

Squirtle: Squirtle Squirt! (Run!)

In a panic, the Pokémon scattered in all directions, with Blastoise giving chase. As Pikachu fled with the others, they suddenly heard more noise from the opposite direction.

Meowth: Help Meowth!

The group looked up to see Meowth running toward them with Ekans and Koffing at his sides. Behind them was a massive figure clad in gray armor.

It was Rhydon, as large as Blastoise, chasing Meowth and his companions at full speed. Both groups noticed each other, and also the giant Pokémon behind them.

Meowth: It's the twerp's Pikachu, meow?

Koffing: Koffing! (There's another monster ahead!)

Koffing and Ekans stared at the approaching Pikachu, while Rhydon and Blastoise barreled toward each other, both too large and fast to stop.

Pikachu: Pika Pikachu! (Get out of the way!)

Seeing the danger from both sides, Pikachu quickly yelled a warning, jumping aside with Eevee and Squirtle close behind. Meowth and his team followed suit, dodging just in time as the two enormous Pokémon crashed into each other.

Bang! Boom!

With a powerful impact, the two massive Pokémon collided, creating a deafening crash. The enormous forms of both Pokémon shattered instantly, their shells splintering as pieces flew in all directions. Countless parts scattered from their insides, and after what felt like an eternity, the chaos finally settled.

Meowth: So, these guys were machines all along, meow!

Meowth and Pikachu stared at the wreckage in surprise, realizing that the hulking giants were mechanical constructs. It explained why they were so large and intimidating.

Axew: Axew! (What are you guys trying to pull here?)

At that moment, Axew glared at Meowth and the others with suspicion. Charmander and the other Pokémon turned their attention to the intruders as well.

Meowth: Hmph! Fate must be on my side. I've run into you here, and this time, I'm not letting you escape!

Seeing Pikachu and the group, Meowth's face twisted with anger. After all the times they'd thwarted Team Rocket's plans, he was eager for revenge. But as the moments passed, something felt off. Ekans and Koffing stood behind him like statues, not moving.

Meowth: What are you doing, meow? Attack them already!

Ekans: Ekans! (We only follow the master's orders!)

Koffing: Koffing! (That's right!)

Meowth: What?? We're villains! Villains don't need to follow the master's orders!

Ekans: Ekanssss! (Pokémon aren't good or evil—we just follow our Trainer's commands.)

Koffing: Koffing! (Exactly, exactly!)

Meowth: What?! Then... what about me, meow?

Meowth started questioning everything. Even though he had once been the pet of Giovanni, Team Rocket's boss, he had never been fully tamed. Technically, he didn't have a Trainer now. So why was he still involved in bad deeds? Ekans' words echoed in his mind, revealing an uncomfortable truth—Pokémon don't inherently distinguish between good and evil. They do what their Trainer asks, whether it's good or bad.

Even if a Trainer is a poacher or engages in the illegal trade of Pokémon, their Pokémon still work for them, simply because they trust and follow their Trainer's orders.

Squirtle: Squirtle Squirt? (Who exactly did you say you wouldn't let go?)

Axew: Axew! (Are you looking for a fight?)

Meowth suddenly realized he was surrounded by Pikachu and the others, with Squirtle and Axew itching for a battle. Panic setting in, he glanced at Koffing and Ekans, who remained completely unmoved.

Meowth: You guys... don't gang up on me!

Bang bang bang bang!!!

Meowth: Just kidding! Don't take it seriously! Don't come any closer! Ahhhhhhhhhh!
