12 years after the sack of King landing
Daeron is fourteen years old now. A young man who is a good Swordman and archer and knows how to use other weapons as well. His magic is his strongest strength now and afcourse the dragon's.
Currently, Daeron is taking a part of his army towards sothoryos. The reason is quite simple to get more resources and one of his five wishes was to be able to talk to all creatures.
He wants the wyvern from the wyvren plane and those giant apes that are said to dwarf the largest giants and for the rest of the creatures that sothoryos has to offer.
Not to mention it's said that Sothoryos does have a wealth of raw resources, including gold, gems, spices, valuable hardwoods used in shipbuilding (such as teak), and exotic animals. Slavers also take off people from local tribes to sell in the markets of Essos. Any attempts at establishing long-term outposts, however, always met with frustration, overwhelmed by the hazards of the surrounding jungles: dangerous wildlife, hostile native tribes
The current army that Daeron is leading consists of, 15,000 atreides,3,000 Spartans, 10,000 Romans with 1,200 ships and 500 of them are sailing double deck ships but they don't have cannon's like those in 17 th century on earth but instead has a long crossbow which is supposed to have little wild fire pod's attach the long arrows. There are 4 adult dragon flying above the fleet.
Daeron will have all alchemist secretary shipped off of westeros and will leave enough wildfire for the battle of blackwater bay as he plans to enter westeros during the latter stage of war of five kings .
He is also traveling with 12,000 people who are either shipwrights, carpenters, masons, miners,woodsmen or other workers and about 210 healer mages and the most formidable of his army are 873 warmages are also sailing with him .
During his stay in south valyria. Daeron created a magical institute whose sole purpose is to invent new kinds magic and train various kind of mage from healer to warmages all must take an unbreakable oath that they would remain loyal to house Targaryen.
Their first stop would be Naath . Naath is an island in the Summer Sea located off the northwestern coast of the continent of Sothoryos, west of the Basilisk Isles and east of the Summer Isles. It is the home of Missandei.
Naath has a beautiful tropical climate, filled with palm trees, and is famed for its butterflies. The Naathi are dark-skinned. In addition, typical Naathi features include a round flat face and golden eyes.
The Naathi worship a single deity called the Lord of Harmony . Due to their religious beliefs the Naathi do not harm any living thing, refusing to eat the flesh of animals and abstaining from violence and martial endeavors. As a result the Naathi are vegetarians. The Naathi religion is so utterly devoted to pacifism that they will refuse to engage violence even to defend themselves from direct bodily harm.
Making them ideal slaves and had attracted the slavers and pirates.
A large species of butterfly on Naath is a carrier for a horrific disease that makes the flesh literally slough off of a man's bones, but the Naathi themselves are immune to it. For centuries, the foreign invaders would end up succumbing to the "butterfly fever".
Naath was once a major exporter of silk (from silkworms) to both sides of the Narrow Sea. Naathi silk was often found in the markets of King's Landing, Oldtown, and the Free Cities and the golden Empire of YI TI along with spiced wines and various handicrafts they produced.
Daeron is on the largest ship in his current fleet which was about 80 meters and the only triple deck ship in the current fleet.
As Daeron is enjoying the sea breeze a volturi men came to him.
" Your highness the imperial council is waiting for you"
Daeron made his way towards his council hall in the ship. As he reached the door two volturi members who were the guards stationed there opened the door while announceing.
"All hail to Emperor Daeron Targaryen."
The title's would be added after all his conquest but Daeron would become an Emperor soon.
The imperial council room is big and had a round table of about 7 meters of radius with a detailed map of not just westeros but essos from bravos to asshai and of the known parts of sothoryos and ulthos showing the ambition in the heart of Daeron Targaryen.
The imperial council had 24 seats with one of them being taller than the rest and appeared to be gold plated while other are made of high quality wood.
There were also various mirrors placed in the room as valyrian were able to talk to eachother despite being far away through mirrors and the current Targaryen dynasty has access to such knowledge.
The members of imperial council were.
3 seats were for archmages representing the imperial institute of magic.
3 for the scholars there are various institute for different kinds of institute from medical to history but will be centralised soon and one big institute would be founded ( Maesters will be considered a kind of scholar's)
For the military
One for the marine fleet admiral who leads the imperial Navy, One for Atreides, one for sardaukar, one for Spartans, three for the great Roman army.
Then there are three seats for master of coins, two for master of law's, three for master of whisphers,and the lord commander of the kingsguard's along with one seat for volturi. The empress would also have a seat latter.
The number of masters in the council more then that of small council in kingslanding and it's increased due to the increase in the land that would be governed after various conquest and also to ensure that one person doesn't get too much power and they must work along and check eachother work and report it to Emperor.
All the members stood up from there seats and there were also various adviser behind them though they don't have seats in imperial council but sits on the provided chairs behind their respective superior accordingly. The number of adviser each member of imperial council is three.
But in the current council only the 3 seats of archmages, 2 of scholars one being arcmaester Qyburn and one master for each department is placed rest are still empty.
Daeron named Qyburn and arcmaester and he doesn't care about the rules of citadel. After he was stripped of chains of Maesters ,Daeron had few of his men bring him to old valyria. He might be the only Maesters who accept magic and is even trying to learn it though he does't have much talent for it.
After Daeron sat on his seat other's began to sit as well .
Qybren stands up and nods at Daeron and than starts speaking about his discovery of a solution for butterfly fever.
" As you all know Naath has a disease known as butterfly fever which is life-threatening to outsiders but the Naathi are immune to it . I and my fellow scholars have found a medicine prevent it though you would need to consume it every 5 months and for the diseases in sothoryos various medicines have been discovered and a solutions whose Aroma when boiled would keep them away from our settlement but it seems ineffective against the butterflies of Naath."
Leonidas had concern about the island safety as it was an ideal place to raid for slavers and pirates.
" But we would still need to station some of our men as the naathi are non-violent and would not engage in warfare. "
Devan the current master of coins seems take interest in the naath.
" The export of silk or preferably the clothes made by naathi and other goods would get us a lot gold in return I propose that we build a Port city with Garrison of the slaves that are of nathhi decent but can fight, doesn't follow the naathi religion and would be completely immune to butterfly fever."
The fleet admiral Joe was more concerned about the pirates that infest on Basilisk Isles.
" We would need to do the same on Basilisk isles as it is the centre of pirate activity in the summer sea and would ensure less attack on Naath and increase our naval presence on the summer sea as it's an important trading route between the free cities and the golden Empire of YI TI and asshai."
Joe continued.
" Your highness, I recommend we build an outpost in Basilisk isles, that would ensure the pirates not coming back after we kill or capture them."
All eyes were on Daeron as he was the one who would make the decision.
" I do think building an outpost is a good measure that needs to be taken to ensure our control over the sea route,
Bashar take 12,000 sardaukar form Valyria along with 100 warmages as now many mages are there so the travel outside valyria could be made and butcher all the pirates, and send the captured pirates to Qyburn and his men."
(Bashar is the commander of sardaukar) Bashar is not present in the council but is attending through the mirror.
Bashar stood up and bowed his head.
" The Emperor command would be done."
Soon various topics were being discussed until master of whisphers jack stood up.
" Your highness all the alchemist are still loyal to the Targaryen as they get almost to no funds for their experiment by the Robert"
Daeron laughed and said jokingly.
" Do you really think that he would have money to fund the alchemist guild while he is in debt by the way how much of debt he has now."
Jack thought for a bit.
" About 3.8 million golden dragon but is still growing the amount of money spend is huge and his master of coin is corrupt."
Leonidas didn't care about Robert as he knew that he won't be able to win against the dragon's but he still has an adventure of sothoryos ahead of him.
" Your highness, What should we do about summer islands "
The master of whisphers is not very keen on attacking summer islands.
" Your highness as the late princess Rhaenyra had instructed us not to let ourselves out of shadows until 17 years and we still have four years left and attacking summer islands which often trade with the free cites is not an option if we want to maintain our secrecy."
Gurney Halleck supreme commander of atreides was present at the day of birth of Daeron Targaryen and personally heard the order's.
" Your highness, we must follow the commands given by princess Rhaenyra "
Daeron is not interested in summer islands his interest is in sothoryos so he agrees with his council.
" Leave the summer islands for the time being we would attack it soon. Our main concern is sothoryos and if any ship's come towards natth or the Basilisk isles . If they are pirates or slavers butcher them and if somehow any merchant ship got lost. Let them be our prisoners until we are ready to come out of shadows."
Daeron points his finger towards sothoryos in the map.
" We need resources and also start buying slaves form the slavers bay they would be brought here and they can help grow crops in the fertile lands near the Zamoyos River and help in mining the resources."
Daeron got up from his chair and so did the other council men.
" The Imperial council ends now."
With that Daeron left to his chamber so did the other council men.
