I pushed forward and forward to continue and see if there was truly a path worth pursuing with this quest. I jumped from countless planets in hopes of finding the ideal planet to start this obnoxious task. Tasked with learning about love as a person who never understood the concepts of romantic relationships and close bonds that exist and co-exist between species was quite a low blow for both my masters. However, it was a task that was given to me by them, and in virtue, it may be a task that may take me time.
BUT
I will conquer it. I will find the meaning and in turn, be able to make my masters proud.
As I think about the radar locations that I may be able to visit next, I notice a small planet that was present on the radar of both my masters for quite some time due to the simple nature of the laws of nature that exist in that world.
Titled the Experiment of the Deities, I want to truly visit and check it out and see if there is truly something present on that planet that may be able to teach me about the various forms of love and train me to become the person that my masters view me as.
Experiment of the Deities, a planet where due to the extremely high potency of natural divination forms present on the surface, forced gods of every mythos to check it and claim a certain aspect of it for themselves. After the annihilation of them by my masters, they reclaimed the planet and fostered it as an experimental field to test and see how powerful the gods were in terms of their powers and their domains.
All the individuals on that planet gain a certain sense of consciousness post a certain age or experience and then decide to see if the path that they have taken has truly any consequences in the grand scheme of things.
Arriving closer and closer to that planet, I decided all the things that I could cross-verify when I was exploring this massive planet. Almost twice the size of the Belateris' system's Bugatrix and could have been considered a star had it not had such a massive terrestrial biome present.
The only reason why species could even inhabit the planet was the simple reason that there was way too much protection over them by the other gods. I am also pretty sure that there was a Primordial Mythos guardian that was assigned to this planet after the disbanding and capturing of all the primordial members.
I just hope that this journey will not be in vain.
As I dive into the planet's surface for further inspection of the planet and to gather more data to see the state of the experiment, I notice a girl.
Enveloping my misty stellar dust around that target, I spoke into the calm girl's mind and asked her a few basic questions.
For this log, the girl shall be named Subject Girl. Subject Girl has a very peculiar case of not being able to get the one that she truly loves. She wants to be with someone very dearly and cannot bear to just see her friend commit to a relationship that has no meaning later in his life.
I spoke to her: "Hello there."
As expected, she was taken aback by that simple statement. No one expects a voice that they are not used to enter their head and speak to them directly.
"WHO ARE YOU???" she questioned me.
"I am purely a being that constantly moves. You seem extremely troubled." I attempted to calm down the agitated Subject Girl.
"That barely answers any of my questions. What makes you think that I will just speak my mind out to someone when I can see this entire planet go into a hellscape the more days that I can count?" she gave me back a stern reply.
"Interesting that a local species can notice the fluctuations in the concentration on this planet. However, that does not answer my question, pretty girl." I tried to flaunt some of the words that I had learnt in the previous data collection trips in hopes of understanding this quest.
Subject Girl now looked into the sky with the most disturbed expression. Something that she is not able to comprehend with the most complex of emotions that ran through her mind and the most insane behaviors that were portrayed for the following next fifteen to twenty minutes.
She seemed to know why she was sad though. I questioned her again on why she was feeling that way.
"Get out of my head, voice. I do not know who you are, nor do I know if you can be useful to me in this situation or not. I have better things to be thinking about rather than this foolish thing. Therefore, stay out of my head, worm." Subject Girl sternly stated as she moved from that location to a different location.
"If you truly wish to know the name I possess, then I have no qualms of not informing you. My name is Yeux Demonde. I am on a mission to complete my master's tasks. I do not have any intentions of harming you. I purely want to help you since it is my task to help individuals in need." I managed to spin the narrative in hopes that she would be able to relieve her problem to me.
Subject Girl then let out a soft sigh and proceeded to walk a few more meters before coming onto the edge of a balcony, where she stood and looked at the entire landscape of the planet. With a partition present in the middle of the planet and random distortions here and there, it is truly no wonder why Subject Girl would feel this way about the planet.
"You truly want to know the nature of this problem I possess?" the girl questioned me after closing her eyes. It seemed as if she was extremely tired after some long and arduous tasks.
"There is someone that I love…" she said.
