After Charles Kawalsky learned that all this trouble was caused by Bakuto, he drove directly to Bakuto's estate, preparing to have a serious conversation with him.
It just so happened that he had already spent all the money he had received from Bakuto, and he was worried about where to find more. Fortunately, Bakuto, had just given him some gold coins.
Despite being able to cover hundreds of miles to his residence at Bakuto's, where the fuel consumption per mile was as low as one steamed bun, it wasn't as easy as driving a regular car. The Red Skull's chariot was exceptionally powerful, capable of reaching speeds of over a hundred miles per hour with its robust off-road capabilities in Africa's unpaved terrain.
A few hours later, Charles arrived at Bakuto's mansion. Last time he had to sneak in, but this time, Charles felt no pressure in tackling the second dungeon.
Although Bakuto Manor had been upgraded with additional sentries and security personnel patrolling the grounds, with five teams accompanied by wolfhounds, Charles was unfazed.
Pressing the accelerator to the floor, Charles ignored the gate of Bakuto Manor and sped up to 200 miles per hour. Along the way, some guards stood in front of the car and opened fire, attempting to stop him. But Charles didn't hesitate; he plowed through them and crashed through the heavy iron gate of Bakuto's estate before stowing the car away.
This time, he intended to wreak havoc on Bakuto's manor to practice his skills.
The guards at Bakuto Manor were well-trained. As soon as Charles broke through the gate, they grabbed their weapons, ready to dismantle the intruder and his vehicle.
But the moment Charles entered, he stowed the car in his personal space. The gunmen, suddenly deprived of their target, were momentarily disoriented but quickly resumed firing at Charles at the gate.
Bullets flew through the air, zipping towards Charles with deadly force. Calm and collected, Charles pulled out his large vibranium shield from his portable space, set it heavily on the ground, and shielded himself behind it.
This shield had previously saved Charles from a fierce beast's claws, and although he wasn't facing a life-or-death situation, he preferred not to develop a habit of not dodging attacks. Even if the bullets didn't do much damage, he wasn't going to follow Loki's example of getting blasted off an aircraft only to be embarrassed by Hulk's wild spin through the heavens.
The bullets clanged against the vibranium, falling to the ground spent. Charles tossed the shield forward, and the unlucky guard struck by the shield was instantly pulverized by its kinetic energy.
Unfortunately, unlike Captain America, Charles couldn't make the shield return to him automatically. The shield stuck into the ground after smashing the guard, and Charles had to retrieve it himself.
After throwing the shield, Charles sped towards the remaining gunmen. While sprinting, he drew his vibranium spear and charged into the crowd amidst a hail of bullets.
His spear pierced through a guard's head—a favorite target for Charles. Unlike those who claim their hearts are on the right side when hit, no one could lie about having their brain in their rear end.
With a shake of his hands, Charles shattered the head on the spear. He then stepped forward and thrust the spear, using its tail to sweep another guard's head clean off.
Dozens of security personnel surrounded Charles from all sides. The suddenness of the attack had only now sunk in—they realized that the intruder was their boss's most wanted target.
Someone ran to the inner courtyard to inform Bakuto of the attack. Charles, seeing the person running, didn't stop him.
The remaining guards formed a circle around Charles, afraid to fire for fear of hitting each other. They aimed their guns at him and awaited orders for close-quarters combat.
Charles, indifferent to their indecision, prepared to move. His speed was so extraordinary that the onlookers couldn't visually track him.
In an instant, Charles selected a line of tightly packed guards as targets and sped through them. His momentum shattered bones and tendons, knocking down many in his path.
Charles abandoned his spear for a blade, slashing through multiple guards with terrifying force. A group was cut in half and fell to the ground.
Charles, the God of Death, stood tall with his sword, like a tiger descending from a mountain, cutting through the crowd with relentless precision. Anyone within two meters of him was sliced apart by the vibranium blade.
The air filled with screams. Some guards, cut open at the chest, died immediately, while others, split at the waist, writhed in agony, hoping only for a quick death.
Even seasoned veterans, accustomed to battle, would have a mental breakdown under such conditions, and the security personnel at Bakuto's manor, not accustomed to such violence, were no exception.
"Help! Monster! Mom, I want to go home!" The remaining guards dropped their weapons and fled in panic, abandoning their posts in a desperate attempt to escape the hellish manor and Charles, the harbinger of death.
Charles, not seeing himself as a monster, had no intention of killing everyone. These people were just hired help, not Bakuto's loyal followers or family. He allowed them to flee, confident they wouldn't seek revenge.
Thus, Charles proceeded calmly towards the depths of Bakuto Manor.
At this moment, Bakuto was dumbfounded watching the surveillance feed. The subordinate who reported to him was equally distressed; if Bakuto hadn't been so fearful of being shot, he would have fled the scene.
Bakuto, watching the chaos unfold, wondered if apologizing to Charles might make a difference. However, given Charles's apparent attitude, forgiveness seemed unlikely. Even if Bakuto were willing to surrender, the Hand behind him might abandon him.
Unable to escape his predicament, Bakuto sent a team of ninjas to handle Charles.
Having previously dispatched two teams to track Charles, Bakuto assumed the situation was secure. Yet, the absence of the ninjas suggested they had met with danger, likely due to Charles's penchant for causing destruction.
On the main road of Bakuto Manor, Charles moved slowly and casually, as if admiring the estate's beauty. Despite the blood on his clothes, he seemed to relish the setting, appreciating the high standards of the arms dealer's estate.
Entering the inner courtyard, Charles saw a massive seven-shaped swimming pool surrounded by palm trees and a lawn with more palm trees. A white pavilion with several lounge chairs completed the picturesque scene under a clear blue sky.
Charles thought that if he became wealthy, he would build a grand estate like this. From today onward, everything in Bakuto's manor would be his, and he planned to enjoy it, even if only temporarily.
Clearing his mind, Charles felt that the estate was already his. As the new owner, he took off his clothes and dived into the swimming pool.
In the surveillance room, Bakuto was baffled by Charles's bizarre behavior. Could it be that Charles was not here for revenge but to relax? If so, Bakuto would prefer to avoid a fight and enjoy the peacefulness instead.
Little did Bakuto know that Charles had indeed claimed the estate as his own. After swimming and cleaning the blood from his body, Charles emerged and considered, "It would be fun to have a few girls who enjoy swimming here."
Looking at the vast manor, Charles lamented that Bakuto had failed to make full use of such a large pool. Determined not to waste it, he resolved to find some girls who enjoyed swimming to make use of the pool every day.
With this resolve, Charles stretched and dried himself under the sun before changing into a fresh set of clothes. Having accumulated a large wardrobe in his personal space since leaving Hydra, he avoided being caught without clothes after a battle. Unlike the Hulk's resilient pants, his own clothes required frequent replacement.
Charles strolled to the inner courtyard house, opened the door, and found Bakuto waiting for him with a welcoming smile, as if greeting an old friend.
"Welcome, my old friend. I'm delighted to have you as my guest once again!" Bakuto said.
------
"Welcome, my old friend, and welcome to my manor as a guest once again!"
Bakuto, who was standing at the door in a fitted gray suit, greeted Charles Kawalsky. He looked like he was welcoming an old friend he hadn't seen in a long time.
At this moment, Charles Kawalsky remained calm and steady and said to Bakuto, "Long time no see. The last time we met was too hasty, and I couldn't introduce myself properly. My name is Charles Kawalsky!"
Bakuto looked surprised. "That's great, my friend. I'm fortunate to know your name. I was struck by you at first sight after we last met. I sent people everywhere to look for you, hoping to make friends with you. Unfortunately, my subordinates were rude and misunderstood our relationship. I'm so sorry."
Bakuto spoke animatedly, but his steps didn't move, and he maintained a distance from Charles Kawalsky.
"Really, then you should have told me. I'm quite embarrassed for accidentally sending your men away. Please, go and apologize to your men for me!" Charles Kawalsky said with a smile. He made a statement that made Bakuto feel uncomfortable.
"Haha, you're so funny, they won't mind." Bakuto had large drops of sweat on his forehead. Seeing that Charles Kawalsky didn't respond, Bakuto asked with a forced smile, "You're kidding, right?"
"Haha, of course, I'm joking." The expression on Charles Kawalsky's face was one of extreme happiness.
Bakuto's face softened slightly, and he took out a handkerchief to wipe the sweat from his forehead before he could breathe a sigh of relief.
"After all, you didn't even have a head when you went down there, how could you recognize each other?"
As soon as these words were spoken, Bakuto knew there was no room for negotiation and immediately shouted, "Do it!"
In an instant, ninjas hidden in the shadows above the chandelier, the corners of the corridors, the blind spots behind the doors, and all over the room rushed out of the darkness.
It was a remarkably precise operation. These ninjas were trained by the Hand as killers.
The Hand collects all kinds of orphans and trains them from an early age. The sources of these orphans are diverse—those who were trafficked, those brought back to the organization after the Hand killed their entire families when they were young, those bought directly from the slums. In short, all these children were collected from various places by the Hand, who spent a lot of energy doing so.
These children collected by the Hand must receive professional ninja training from an early age. They are the main strength of the Hand. Every year, hundreds of children are collected by the Hand into the organization, and then they begin the most basic training at the age of three—flexibility training—and then spend ten years learning physical skills, firearms, assassination, poisons, and other aspects.
Although the Hand recruits nearly a thousand young children every year, only few hundred survive until the age of 13, and the elimination rate is over 80%.
These children who successfully reach the age of 13 are required to complete three individual tasks and one group task within a year. Only those who successfully complete the tasks can become ninjas.
These children have been indoctrinated by the Hand with thoughts contrary to those of ordinary people since they were young. They have become cold-blooded and cruel, loyal only to the Hand. They are cruel, powerful, and pitiful individuals.
No, perhaps it's more appropriate to call them tools—right! A group of cold-blooded, murderous tools!
If Charles Kawalsky had been successfully brainwashed by Hydra, he wouldn't necessarily be much better than ninjas like them. He would just be another tragic killing tool.
Since their ninjas all received basically the same education, they were very strong in team fights. Additionally, each of their teams mostly consisted of members from the same period, making their cooperation quite seamless.
Just like the situation Charles Kawalsky is facing now.
There are a total of 15 people in the three ninja teams. Three people in the front attack with knives targeting their eyes, groin, and calves. One person on each side stabs their ears. Three people in the back cooperate, with one person holding a mace to strike Charles Kawalsky on the back of the head, another person stabbing him in the back with a knife, and another preparing to split Charles Kawalsky's spine with a sword, aiming to defeat the enemy with one blow.
Several other ninjas were not allowed to get close at the moment, so they threw hidden weapons at Charles Kawalsky from a distance in an attempt to disrupt his rhythm, hoping their companions would find a chance to kill him with one blow.
If it were Charles Kawalsky before he was strengthened by the Ape King, it's very possible he would have been overwhelmed. However, the situation is different now.
He planted his feet into a horse stance, contracted his hip muscles, made a fist with his right hand to protect his lower body, and tightened his muscles all over.
"Bang bang bang…"
The first round of attacks by the ninjas, whether it was swords or hidden weapons, didn't even make him sway. All the attacks were in vain.
The force of the ninjas' counterattack made their palms numb, as if they had struck a stubborn rock. Horror appeared in their eyes as they tried to withdraw.
No matter how strong their skills are, the enemies they encountered before were still human, and there would be no white marks on their bodies even if they were struck by a knife.
How could Charles Kawalsky let them achieve what they wanted? While the other ninjas were retreating, he grabbed the ninja who attacked his groin and punched him in the head.
"You ninjas are really petty and like to engage in these vile attacks."
Although Charles Kawalsky was not injured, the ninja's direct attack on his lower body still made him very angry.
So this time, after blasting the ninja's head, he tore the body into two pieces like tearing paper.
The other ninjas remained unmoved upon seeing the tragic death of their companion.
However, their strategy for dealing with Charles Kawalsky changed. They all abandoned their long knives and replaced them with another weapon.
They all switched to chain darts, which are soft weapons made of a metal dart head attached to one end of a long chain. The length depends on the length of the middle chain, similar to a rope tag.
This kind of weapon was originally used as a hidden weapon, but now they are using it to deal with extremely strong people like Charles Kawalsky. As long as several people entangle him together, even a wild boar could be slaughtered.
It's a pity that Charles Kawalsky was tired of this kind of fighting.
A spear appeared directly in his hand, and Charles Kawalsky turned around and attacked the three ninjas behind him.
The spear moved like waves in the sea—powerful and forceful, yet swift and elusive.
Before the other ninjas could react, the three ninjas behind were swept over their heads by Charles Kawalsky's spear and flung away.
After neatly eliminating the four ninjas, Charles Kawalsky immediately positioned the spear in front of him, and several chain darts that came from the attack were wrapped around the spear.
Then several more chain darts cut through the air like poisonous snakes, flying toward Charles Kawalsky.
A chain dart directly in front of him hit Charles Kawalsky's throat. The ninja standing there flicked his wrist, and the chain dart changed direction like a living creature, wrapping tightly around Charles Kawalsky's neck.
There were also several chain darts wrapping around Charles Kawalsky's arms, ankles, and waist.
The ninjas flew left and right, trying to entangle Charles Kawalsky.
But they underestimated his strength. Charles Kawalsky simply turned the spear in his hand and wrapped all the chains around it.
With a strong pull, several ninjas who reacted quickly released their grip on the chain darts, but a few who didn't react in time were pulled in front of Charles Kawalsky along the chain.
Charles Kawalsky's body sank, his muscles swelled, and his veins bulged as he raised his spear and made a sweeping motion.
The several ninjas flying through the air were unable to dodge, and could only watch as the spear in Charles Kawalsky's hand got closer, growing larger, and eventually filling their entire line of sight.
"Boom!"
Now that Charles Kawalsky could easily lift 15 tons, how terrifying was it when he exerted his full strength? The bodies of the ninjas hit by the spear instantly turned into a cloud of blood mist.
Charles Kawalsky succeeded with one blow, charged up his strength again, sprinted directly to the remaining ninja, and punched him away.
The ninja targeted by Charles Kawalsky had no time left to think. He only felt that Charles Kawalsky's punch was so powerful and heavy that the air around him was pushed aside by the fierce wind of the fist.
"This man must be the reincarnation of the Great Tengu!"
The Great Tengu is a creature in Japanese myths and legends. It is several feet tall, with a red face, white hair, and wings on its back. It has unimaginable strange powers and supernatural abilities and is a relatively high-level monster in Japanese folklore.
Charles Kawalsky's inhuman defense and extraordinary strength were mistaken for the reincarnation of the Great Tengu by the terrified ninja.
But regardless of what Charles Kawalsky thought, the ninja turned into a headless corpse in the next moment.
If they were ordinary people, they would definitely be defeated and flee after seeing Charles Kawalsky's terrifying presence. However, these ninjas had no intention of retreating, as their lifelong training ingrained in them the principle of only returning after success, not surviving after failure.
Charles had already anticipated that the ninjas wouldn't escape. The ninjas he had encountered before were equally brave and fearless, and this group was expected to be the same.
Charles dispatched the remaining ninjas with ease, as if he were dealing with mere chickens or dogs.
For him, this battle was remarkably simple. After his second enhancement, these well-trained ninjas posed no threat to him, even if there were hundreds or thousands of them.
After finishing his work, Charles approached Bakuto. At this point, Africa's most notorious arms dealer lay sprawled on the ground. Charles wondered why he hadn't tried to escape. Under normal circumstances, Bakuto should have been far away by now.
Bakuto, looking at the bodies of the defeated ninja team scattered around, was too stunned to laugh. This monster had grown stronger. The last time he had visited his manor, he had been somewhat fearful, remaining hidden and cautious. Now, Charles had barged in without a hint of hesitation, wiping out three ninja teams in under two minutes.
"Why didn't you run?" Charles asked.
"It's useless. Even if I run, survival would be impossible. The forces outside are watching me closely. The secret passage from before has been exposed. If I go outside, I'll still die and face even more torture," Bakuto said, having lost all hope of survival.
"Then you are a smart man, but this makes things less interesting for me," Charles replied.
"Why do you have to kill me? I gave you the vibranium and told you the truth. Even if another ninja team was sent, I doubt those two teams could threaten you. Why go to such lengths to kill me?" Bakuto asked, unwilling to accept his fate.
"I didn't intend to kill you. To be honest, I was short on money and came to ask you for a loan. But after learning that the ninja team was from you, I became curious. I didn't think you had the capability to train such a team," Charles explained.
"Money?" Bakuto seemed to grasp at the hope of survival and said excitedly, "I'll give you as much money as you want. I can still make money, a lot of money. As long as you let me go, I'll ensure you receive all the money I make in the future."
Upon hearing this, Charles was immediately intrigued. In his previous life, he had worked as a social worker, but now he had the opportunity to become a major player in the arms industry?
Charles felt a surge of excitement!
"How much money do you have?"
---------
Bokuto here gave Charles Kawalsky an offer he couldn't refuse. The key is that the hen Bokuto possesses is a golden hen that will always lay eggs, so the idea of small-time farming quickly took hold of Charles Kawalsky's mindset, leading him to compromise.
In reality, Charles Kawalsky has no irreconcilable conflict with Bokuto. After all, Bokuto poses no threat to Charles Kawalsky. As Charles Kawalsky's abilities grow stronger, Bokuto will become even more manageable under his control.
It would be truly satisfying to eliminate Bokuto, take all his money, and enjoy it to the fullest. Once the money is exhausted, Charles Kawalsky could find a wealthy criminal to "rob from the rich and give to the poor me."
However, without killing Bokuto, Bokuto can continuously provide him with funds and a base for activities that might be inconvenient otherwise, such as finding a group of scientists and confining them in a dark room to conduct research using special creature genes to transform himself and enhance his power.
This is a very advantageous plan for Charles Kawalsky. In fact, he has already mapped out his objectives.
Apart from humans, there are other intelligent life forms on Earth, including the Eternals and the Inhumans. They are all the products of the "Celestials" from the universe who came to Earth and transformed humanity.
The Eternals maintain their immortality by continuously absorbing energy from the surrounding universe. Capturing a few Eternals, extracting their bones and marrow, and creating a serum could further strengthen Charles Kawalsky.
Although they are synthetic beings , they are not human robots , they are Techno organic synthesoid , they bled red in movie.
In the film "The Eternals," the 'fake Superman' Ikaris was a prime target. He wanted to sacrifice the entire human race to give birth to celestrials and later even killed his companions.
Charles Kawalsky deeply despises such gods who wish to sacrifice humanity. Since he is unfriendly to all humanity, he must realize that Charles Kawalsky wants to sacrifice him to strengthen himself.
Moreover, Ikaris possesses very comprehensive abilities. He is essentially a weaker version of Superman, with his heat vision power limited compared to a full-fledged laser cannon, and his strength is also less impressive. Despite the fact that Gilgamesh's power is rated as 7 in the setting and considered the strongest, Marvel often plays fast and loose with settings. Charles Kawalsky feels confident he can take him down.
When the opportunity arises to go to South Dakota, Charles Kawalsky will definitely capture Ikaris first and dissect him for research. As for researcher Charles Kawalsky, he had already considered it. Dr. Abraham owed him a life, and it was time to collect interest.
Later, he would rescue him from Hydra agents and lock him in a small dark room as a social experiment.
It is actually beneficial for Charles Kawalsky not to kill Bokuto. If necessary in the future, he could always revisit the idea of removing his head and using it as a ball, thereby preserving his life and using him as a tool.
After making up his mind, Charles Kawalsky said to Bokuto: "Do you have children?"
Bokuto thought that Charles Kawalsky was either going to kill them all or keep them as hostages, so he hesitated and said nothing.
Seeing Bokuto's hesitation, Charles Kawalsky gently said: "Don't be afraid, I'm not going to kill them all. I won't kill you."
Bokuto naturally didn't believe him. The man in front of him had claimed to be a pacifist last time, but today half of his men had been killed.
"Bokuto, how many enemies do you have? Are you sure you can enjoy your old age in peace? Will your wife and children be hunted by your enemies? The person who provided you with the ninja team will certainly protect you only as long as you're useful."
Bokuto felt that Charles Kawalsky had hit the nail on the head. He was now in his prime and still useful. If he aged, the organization behind him would likely see him as a liability and dispose of him. Moreover, with his entire ninja team wiped out, would enemies across Africa spare him? With so many ninjas dead, would the organization continue to support him?
After contemplating, Bokuto felt that being directly killed by Charles Kawalsky might be a better option, as the organization might invite him and spare his family.
"But I can protect you and your family. I can ensure that you all die peacefully in a hospital bed at the age of 80," Charles Kawalsky said, like a devil offering tempting conditions in exchange for souls.
"I can live for many years, Bokuto. I can remain in this state for 100 years, 200 years, or even longer! During that time, I can ensure that your son and grandson inherit everything you have safely, including everything I've given you. And you, Bokuto, will receive even more. I will help you unify all of Africa. Arms dealer, flour merchant, I can make you a veritable underground emperor on the African continent. But this requires your dedication. I want you to dedicate your soul, Bokuto." Charles Kawalsky spoke with a calm and deliberate tone.
"But the force that supported me before will retaliate against us. The ninjas they sent are not their top power. They have even more powerful forces. Legend has it that each of their five fingers has lived for hundreds of years. Their strength is unpredictable." Bokuto was shaken and expressed his inner fears to Charles Kawalsky.
"Five fingers? The Hand!" Charles Kawalsky made an instant judgment.
"You know them?"
"It's no wonder there are so many ninjas. It turns out to be this organization. Don't worry, Bokuto. The invincible enemy you fear is not much stronger than these ninjas in my opinion. You can contact them and truthfully tell them about my existence. Tell their leader, Alexandra, that if they are willing to relinquish their control over you, we can all be allies. If not, let them come to me and see if their 'Precious ' can revive them multiple times." Charles Kawalsky was confident and spirited. As for The Hand, if they were not careful, they would never return.
...
The manor that once belonged to Bokuto has been renamed Kawalsky Mansion. A few months ago, Bokuto had approached several other arms and weapons leaders in Africa with a proposal to merge them into a close alliance, similar to a company where everyone cooperated closely, exchanged needed items, engaged in monopolistic practices, and quietly amassed wealth.
As expected, this proposal was rejected by everyone. They all agreed that Bokuto might have overexerted himself and lost his mind.
"Don't think we don't know. Your ninja team is gone. Two days ago, your manor was breached by a single person. If you can't protect your own territory, you dare to come here and act superior. It's really shameless."
The speaker was Ricky, the second-largest arms dealer in Africa after Bokuto. Upon hearing Bokuto's suggestion, he immediately slammed the table and stood up in opposition.
Seeing the objections, other arms dealers also started voicing their disapproval. Although their power is far less than that of big players like Bokuto and Ricky, they have the advantage of keeping all the profits, freedom, and loyal subordinates, so why would they want to be someone else's subordinate?
Bokuto had anticipated this reaction: "To be honest, I am not negotiating with you. I am merely conveying a message from others."
"If we refuse, can you still kill us all?" Ricky said forcefully.
"It's not enough to kill them all; let's start by killing half." A lazy voice came from outside, and Charles Kawalsky entered, covered in blood.
He had killed all of Ricky's men, more than 100 people in total. Under Charles Kawalsky's serious state, all were dead in less than 2 minutes.
The process was like a car driving over twigs. The men were too closely packed. Charles Kawalsky picked up two large knives and spread his arms. The knives stretched behind him like wings. Moving at 30 meters per second, Charles Kawalsky cut through the crowd like wind blowing through grass, bending and destroying lives mercilessly.
Seeing Charles Kawalsky enter, Bokuto immediately bent down and greeted: "Boss!"
Bokuto had originally called him Boss Charles Kawalsky, but for some reason, Charles Kawalsky preferred just "Boss," so Bokuto switched to calling him Boss Charles Kawalsky from then on.
Charles Kawalsky looked at Bokuto and said: "The people outside are all dead. I killed them. Bokuto's manor was attacked two days ago. I defeated them."
Of course, Ricky didn't believe it: "Look at you like this. Just put some blood on your body and pretend to be a wolf. Who are you bluffing? You've commanded the deaths of more than 100 people without making a sound."
Others agreed: "That's right, you have to make a lot of noise to kill a pig, but killing a person silently? I've done it before."
"Crazy," "Hahahaha."
Charles Kawalsky took his time and simply looked at these people who were mocking him with a smile on his face.
Seeing that Charles Kawalsky was calm and composed, the others became more and more agitated and said, "I have something to do. I won't argue with you, a fool. I'm leaving. I won't waste any more time with you here." After that, he was about to head out.
Ricky sensed something was off and didn't act rashly. Even as he watched several small arms dealers leave, he kept a wary eye on Charles Kawalsky, ready to intervene if he made any sudden moves.
The few arms dealers who were walking out were also cautious of Charles Kawalsky, wary of any potential attacks from behind. However, as they approached the door, Charles Kawalsky remained motionless, which only heightened their anxiety.
Finally, as the small arms dealers reached the door, the scene outside sent a chill down their spines, creeping up their backs like poisonous snakes, becoming a haunting shadow over their lives.
( This Guy Bakuto is a African arms dealer not Bakuto who is a founding member and a leader of the Hand . To prevent confusion I will change the African Arms dealer name to Boka)
------------
The small arms dealers standing at the door were greeted by a scene straight out of a nightmare.
They had initially arrived with more than 100 people, but now there were several hundred bodies. The ground was drenched in blood, with crimson streaks filling the cracks in the bricks at the entrance, and numerous dismembered limbs scattered around.
Charles Kawalsky had executed the bodies with such precision that some of the shorter people had their necks severed, while taller individuals were cut cleanly from their chests. The area had been transformed into a grotesque tableau of human remains.
The bloodstained footprints led from the courtyard all the way to the banquet hall. Those who had previously mocked Charles Kawalsky now felt a chill, despite the bright sunshine outside. They could no longer muster the courage to face him, let alone turn around and apologize.
Inside the banquet hall, Ricky noticed that the arms dealers at the door were unmoving and thought that something must have gone wrong outside. Perhaps they were surrounded or attacked.
Ricky shouted, "Come here!" but they remained still.
Seeing that no one was responding, Ricky turned to Charles Kawalsky and asked, "What did you do?"
"You can see for yourself," Charles replied.
Ricky, along with several other arms dealers who supported him, approached the gate. The horrific scene outside, which resembled a slaughterhouse, made Ricky understand why the dealers were frozen with fear. Even he was paralyzed by the sight, his legs trembling beneath him.
"You promised something different!" Ricky, though terrified, attempted to call for more support.
But witnessing the carnage, none dared to act. While being a boss was advantageous, life took precedence, and they all remained silent, following Galen's example.
Charles Kawalsky addressed the remaining leaders, "What credit are you talking about? We are all adults. When there's such a disparity in strength, there are no equal terms—only rules for the strong and the weak. You knew this truth before but didn't consider the vast gap between us."
He surveyed the surrounding small-time bosses and continued, "The establishment of this organization benefits everyone, not just me. You'll all gain immediate advantages. No more worrying about betrayals or being hunted. The company's purpose is to make money and maintain stability. Disputes will be resolved through the organization."
The smaller leaders were looking for an excuse to join the winning side. With Charles providing a reason, they eagerly agreed. Whether his claims were true or not didn't matter; the main concern was the current situation, and they had to align with Charles.
Beside Ricky stood a black man in his prime.
"As far as I know, your resolve shouldn't be so steadfast. It seems someone has given you false confidence. Let me guess, the man next to you is one of the Hand's 'Fingers,' right?"
The man, known as White Hat, straightened up and said, "It seems you're quite knowledgeable about our Hand. But we know nothing about you. Logically, someone of your caliber shouldn't be unknown. So who exactly are you?"
White Hat was responsible for the Hand's operations in Africa. He was always seen in white clothing and a white hat, looking young but actually hundreds of years old.
Charles responded, "Let's not get into who I am. What I want to know is whether you represent the Hand in supporting Ricky against me?"
"We may be strangers to you, but why have you killed so many of our people? Whether we support Ricky or not is irrelevant. What matters is whether you intend to be our enemy," White Hat replied.
"Haha, you're speaking so warmly," Charles suddenly switched to Chinese. "But I'm not in the mood for games. Just tell me whether you want to stay or leave."
White Hat, angered by Charles's arrogance, retorted, "You've gone too far. Do you think our Hand is afraid of you?"
White Hat felt a pang of guilt as he spoke. The sight of over 100 dead bodies outside had already revealed to him that he was no match for Charles. Despite his centuries of experience and expertise in combat, he found himself outmatched.
White Hat had witnessed various mutants with special abilities over his long life, but none who could silently kill so many people at once. His intuition, honed by years of surviving life-and-death situations, told him that Charles was an exceptional threat.
"You dare question me? You're involved in smuggling, human trafficking, and more. Do you think you're in the right?" Charles scowled with righteous fury.
"A few fools have caused trouble, and now you call me excessive? Do you wish to die, Kunlun slave?"
White Hat's rage was ignited by the term "Kunlun slave," a long-standing taboo. He charged at Charles, driven by anger rather than strategy.
White Hat's combat experience allowed him to target Charles's right arm immediately. He attempted his usual grappling techniques to subdue Charles quickly, but found himself unable to harm Charles, who felt like grabbing an iron rod rather than an arm.
Realizing something was seriously wrong, White Hat struggled to break free, but Charles, faster and stronger, placed a hand on his shoulder. Charles's grip crushed White Hat's shoulder blades, and with a swift, light punch to the stomach, he left White Hat gasping in pain.
Charles threw White Hat several meters away like discarded trash. White Hat lay on the ground, writhing in agony.
Charles looked at Ricky and said, "It seems your backer isn't as solid as you thought."
Ricky, now in panic, recalled his confrontation with White Hat the previous night. White Hat, the Hand's head in Africa, had appeared unexpectedly, creating a commotion. Ricky knew White Hat's visit was related to recent events involving Boka, the largest arms dealer in Africa.
Boka had recently attempted to sever ties with the Hand, expressing gratitude and seeking independence. This betrayal had enraged the Hand, prompting White Hat's brutal task of making an example of Boka.
The Hand had decided to kill Boka cruelly to deter others from following his lead. The consequences for betraying the Hand were severe, and White Hat had come to ensure that Boka's demise served as a stark warning.
But there is a saying that is true: "You never know which will come first, tomorrow or the accident."
For Ricky, his grand plan to dominate Africa with the help of the Hand and replace Boca as Africa's largest arms dealer had just begun.
Charles Kawalsky jumped out and tore it to pieces.
It felt like having worked hard on homework and eagerly awaiting praise from the teacher, only for the class bully to snatch it away, use it as toilet paper, and complain that it wasn't soft enough. Ricky no longer expected to replace Boca as the leading arms dealer in Africa.
Upon reflection, being the second person wasn't so bad. He had cigars to smoke, fine wine to drink, five-star chefs to cook for him, and many young models cheering for him. Now that he had become a fish on Charles Kawalsky's chopping block, those luxuries might soon be out of reach, and Ricky couldn't help but curse the situation internally.
"This Hand organization always boasts about being the best in the world and commanding everyone's obedience. Yet their boss was beaten like a dog. It's clear now that I was deceived by their empty promises."
If time could be turned back, Ricky would have supported Boca's proposal and praised Charles Kawalsky's vision for bringing order to the chaotic land of Africa.
At this moment, Ricky looked at White Hat, who lay twitching on the ground like a fish without oxygen, and remembered how confident he had been yesterday in punishing Boca. The contrast was stark.
Seeing Charles Kawalsky glance from White Hat to him, Ricky immediately knelt, placing his hands on his forehead on the ground in a respectful gesture.
"I'm sorry, I should have listened to White Hat's lies. I thought Boca was dishonest and didn't want to collaborate with him because I value credibility. But now that I see you are the real boss, I am ready to follow you" Charles Kawalsky softened his stance as he spoke.
As soon as Charles Kawalsky turned his attention to him, Ricky knelt and recited this lengthy apology smoothly, as if he had rehearsed it.
"Don't be like this. I actually preferred your earlier rebellious attitude," Charles Kawalsky said, looking at Ricky on the ground.
Though Ricky's face showed no emotion, his mind raced: "The way you acted before was because of White Hat's evil schemes, which pushed you beyond your limits."
He looked up at Charles Kawalsky, who showed no reaction, and had no choice but to continue: "Now that the villainous White Hat has been subdued by you, we can join your company and become part of your team. I am willing to set an example, integrating all my resources into your organisation, investing all my funds to support its development."
When he mentioned the funds, Charles Kawalsky was open to discussion, but he would not be easily appeased by Ricky. For people like them, showing too much kindness could be perceived as weakness and lead to exploitation.
"But given the situation, I must demonstrate my authority."
Hearing this, Ricky and the other minor bosses felt relieved, believing that as long as they survived this ordeal, they could later rally together and push the blame onto Charles Kawalsky if needed. They figured that despite Charles Kawalsky's power, he couldn't eliminate all of them.
They anticipated that when the Hand organization arrived, they would shift the blame to Charles Kawalsky and let the two predators clash, which would leave them in a favorable position.
So, they all declared: "Master Charles's strength is impressive. We are eager to join your company, invest all our wealth, and contribute sincerely to its development."
Charles Kawalsky saw their unanimous expressions of support and achieved his goal. With a sincere smile, he pointed at the half-dead White Hat on the ground and said: "Since everyone is willing to work together and share joys and sorrows with me, I, Mr. Charles, am touched by your enthusiasm. Today, our company will be officially established, and it will be named 'Weapons Shop.' To celebrate, we will cut down the sacrificial flag and vow to defend against external enemies and support each other internally."
As soon as these words were spoken, the smiles on everyone's faces froze.
There was no doubt about Charles Kawalsky's intentions, but if he actually killed White Hat, it meant that all these people would be firmly on Charles Kawalsky's side. If they went to the Hand organization and claimed "it was all Charles Kawalsky's fault," the Hand might not be convinced.
Seeing their reactions, Charles Kawalsky put on a serious expression, knowing their thoughts. He realized that if they were too hesitant, they might try to play both sides. He needed to ensure they were firmly committed to his cause.
"What, are you unwilling to act? Do you have objections to the organization we are about to establish or to me, Mr. Charles?" Charles Kawalsky said with a dark expression.
"If you don't want to show respect, then I, Charles, will ensure you do." The threat in Charles Kawalsky's words was clear.
The people exchanged glances, reluctant to be the first to act.
Charles Kawalsky's impatience grew. He didn't mind eliminating everyone present if necessary, and he wasn't concerned about any resulting chaos.
The room fell silent except for the heavy breathing of the people. A sinister smile appeared on Charles Kawalsky's face. The onlookers lowered their heads, hoping he would target someone else first.
The atmosphere was broken by Boca's footsteps.
Boca walked up to Charles Kawalsky and bowed.
Understanding Charles Kawalsky's intention, Boca took a vibranium dagger from him.
Boca took the dagger, bowed to Charles Kawalsky again, and used it to stab White Hat in the belly.
Afterward, Boca returned the dagger to Charles Kawalsky and stood behind him, clearly marking his loyalty.
From this moment, there would be no room for relaxation between Boca and the Hand organization. Boca was now clearly aligned with Charles Kawalsky and could not be removed.
Once one person broke the rules, others would follow for their own benefit.
Now that Boca had taken the lead, others felt less burdened and started to compete for their own positions.
Ricky immediately stepped forward, mimicking Boca's actions: he bowed to Charles Kawalsky, took the dagger, bowed again, and then used the dagger to stab White Hat, returning the dagger, bowing once more, and standing behind Charles Kawalsky.
Others followed suit, performing the same ritual.
White Hat's struggles weakened, and blood poured from his body like a fountain. His thighs, stomach, and chest became unrecognizable. In the end, only a blood-soaked, muddy heap remained on the ground.
Charles Kawalsky tossed the blood-stained vibranium dagger to Boca, signaling that Boca had firmly secured the second-in-command position in Charles Kawalsky's organization.
Charles Kawalsky then ordered White Hat's body to be doused with gasoline and set on fire.
Amid the roaring flames, White Hat's body turned to ash. Even the charred bones were crushed by Charles Kawalsky, and gasoline was poured over the remains to ensure they burned completely.
Finally, Charles Kawalsky directed that the ashes be scattered into the river.
Charles Kawalsky was not cruel. As a Marvel fan, he knew that some characters could be reborn even from a single drop of blood. It's better to be thorough and avoid future complications.
Charles Kawalsky was confident that White Hat would not come back to life.
With the establishment of the "Weapons Shop" in Africa, it would become the largest arms trading company on the continent. All African arms dealers, large and small, would join it. Although Boca appeared as the largest boss, Charles Kawalsky was the true power behind the scenes.
The interests of others were redistributed, but regardless of their personal views, they were all ultimately workers under Charles Kawalsky. Charles Kawalsky had achieved his goal of becoming a boss, which was gratifying!
After becoming the boss, Charles Kawalsky decided to take a hands-off approach, delegating all responsibilities to Boca and Ricky. This was precisely what Charles Kawalsky wanted. With the Hand organization as an external threat, they needed Charles Kawalsky's protection and dared not harbor any ill intentions. Furthermore, Charles Kawalsky didn't like to interfere in daily operations, giving them greater autonomy while ensuring his investments were utilized effectively.
Such a setup was ideal for them, but they understood that Charles Kawalsky's power could reclaim everything at any moment.
--------
After conquering the underground forces in Africa, Charles Kawalsky knew that he did not fully understand the intricacies of these operations, so he refrained from interfering in the company's affairs. However, he did issue a strict rule for the company!
Within the company's sphere of influence, subordinates were absolutely prohibited from participating in human trafficking. Violators would face severe punishment: three stabbings, six wounds, and a public execution!
Some of his subordinates expressed disbelief about this rule. When Charles Kawalsky learned of their dissent, he didn't offer any explanation. Instead, he ordered that the tongues of those who had objected be removed.
Following this, everyone began to believe that the boss's decree was very humane and would truly benefit societal development. Thus, they all expressed their support!
As for the unfortunate soul who had his tongue removed without cause, no one even looked at him.
They had long understood that while their boss seemed to be smiling and approachable, if they really thought of him as lenient, they might soon find their heads in jeopardy.
My boss is a complete dictator!
Fortunately, he only banned human trafficking. They considered this type of business as juvenile; the trade they were involved in was far more profitable.
Since then, Charles Kawalsky had not been involved in business matters. He was determined to emulate those coal barons from his previous life who invested in film and only concerned himself with actresses.
Charles Kawalsky instructed Boka to recruit top genetic researchers from around the world and lure them to work for him.
Now that Charles had both the money and leisure, he wouldn't waste it?
Charles Kawalsky called Boka once more and said, "I trust you and Ricky with the company. After being in business for so long, I can't enjoy it too much."
Boka immediately responded that Boss Charles had endured numerous obstacles to establish the business, and now he deserved to rest. He apologized for not considering his boss's feelings earlier.
Thus, Boka used his resources to clear the way and brought in numerous young models , allowing Charles Kawalsky to live in peace.
Details of what transpired during that period are hard to determine. Charles Kawalsky had a habit of keeping a diary during that time, from which we can infer some insights.
April 4, 1939, sunny.
Boka felt I was lonely during this period and insisted on finding someone to accompany me. Despite my refusals, Boka was determined and said he would rather die than see me so alone. I had no choice but to accept. Boka is out looking for a suitable match for me.
April 6, 1939, sunny.
While I was showering in the swimming pool in the morning, Boka arrived with more than a dozen beauties of various races. He informed me that these individuals were displaced by the war and had no other option but to wander if I did not accept them.
In such chaotic times, how could I bear to let vulnerable women like them roam? It was my duty as a compassionate person to take the lead.
To assist in these troubled times, I immediately showed great mercy and accepted these unfortunate individuals.
April 7, 1939, sunny.
In troubled times, people suffer greatly, so I decided to enrich their spiritual world. I talked to them about Schopenhauer, Freud, and the principles of physics and life.
April 8, 1939, sunny.
Freud's theories were too complex, so I decided to teach them about biology instead.
April 9, 1939, sunny.
The weather in Africa is incredibly hot. If it were in my hometown, it would be unbearable. I decided to take them to the swimming pool. I was surprised to find that bikinis were available at that time....
April 10, 1939, sunny.
Leanna, a Latina beauty who was not adept at swimming, accidentally fell into my arms. She mentioned that her health was poor and her heart rhythm was irregular, despite her swimming abilities. She needed my help with a massage.
Since I had always aspired to be a doctor, how could I not assist her even though she was in distress? I immediately performed artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Hehehehe...
So big, so soft. Hey hey...

I savored the sunset
As beautiful as the tiny down on your body
Your slender waist wraps around my heart
Your fiery gaze binds my body
Let all me melt for you
Let my life flow only in your body

The weather was unsuitable for bathing today, so we all played games in the room. Lyanna looked at me with obedient eyes. Unfortunately, today a blond Germanic lady named Alina politely asked me for help. I went into the cubicle with her and started assisting.

How can I, Charles Kawalsky, a man of stature, fear the mob? Even if the path ahead is muddy and wet, I still have the courage to be invincible. No one before me can be my enemy.

I don't recall what day it is today. What does the weather outside matter to me? I ensure they have three meals a day from morning to night. Despite all this time, I remain very energetic. It's incredible how my abilities have improved.
July 31, 1939
Boka came to see me today, and I realized that 4 months had nearly passed. Boka looked at me with amazement and envy.
August 3, 1939, sunny.
Charles Kawalsky, Charles Kawalsky! How could you become so depraved! Didn't you set a goal of longevity before?
Confucius said: "I examine myself three times every day." We can't continue like this!

Do you not understand that your iron heart should not be swayed by external forces? When will the plan for longevity begin?

February 1940, Kawalsky Mansion
After several months of experiments, Charles Kawalsky realized he might no longer be an ordinary person. He had developed a reproductive isolation from normal individuals.
For over half a year, he had worked tirelessly, yet he bore no fruit. However, his body had undergone significant changes.
He opened the panel to check and discovered that his physical abilities had greatly improved.
Name: Charles Kawalsky
Race: Human (serum enhancement + Mutant beast amplification)
Intelligence: 2
Strength: 4 (Can easily lift 20 tons)
Speed: 4 (Speed of sound)
Endurance: 3 (So resilient that you can fight endlessly even if you fall to the ground.)

Characteristics:
[Acrobatics] You possess balance and coordination comparable to that of a monkey. You might become the greatest acrobat in history.[Reinforced Bone] Your bone is highly durable, able to withstand strong blunt impacts and most physical attacks.[Leap of Faith] You will not be harmed even if you jump from a [1200]-feet building.[Survival Instinct] This ability enhances your capacity to endure and fight through battles.
Charles felt something was amiss with his panel. Why did this introduction feel like a boss's panel?
The term "Survival Instinct" is new.
Charles examined the panel and found a notification:
"The panel owner scored a legendary world record in human s*x and was rewarded with the Survival Instinct ability."
It turned out that his hard work over the past six months had made him stronger. If anyone deserved to be in the top ten globally, Charles thought it would be him!
But now, Charles was focused on continuing his path to immortality. To achieve eternal life, avoiding death was crucial. The best way to avoid being killed was to eliminate the threat first, which required immense strength.
In the Marvel Universe, the most notable source of immense power is the Infinity Stones. Absorbing part of the Space Stone's power could be crucial.
Speaking of the Space Stone, in March 1942, the Red Skull acquired it in Tonsberg, Norway.
Charles suddenly realized something was wrong! His memory, which was not particularly sharp before, now seemed to recall many things vividly.
As he thought about the Infinity Stones, he remembered scenes from a movie he had watched, the details vividly appearing before his eyes.
"It seems the serum has also enhanced my brain. I hadn't noticed it before, but indeed, the serum makes my thinking faster and improves my memory. Wisdom, however, requires accumulation." Charles mused.
Even though he couldn't use the Space Stone's power yet, he could still claim it first, denying Thanos access to it!
Determined, Charles decided to take on the challenge. Previously, he would never have considered such a risky endeavor, but now, with his enhanced strength, he was ready to influence things on a larger scale.
His first step: acquiring the Space Stone.
Charles informed Boka that he was going on a long trip. If something happened, Boka and Ricky would handle it. Should anyone cause trouble, they were to be dealt with harshly. If Charles faced an unbeatable enemy, he would seek refuge in the snowy mountains with the Jabaki tribe.
Seeing Charles's departure, Boka promptly asked, "Where are you going this time? Should I arrange someone to assist you? When will you return to lead us?"
Boka's words were considerate, showing concern for his boss's well-being and offering to arrange for his care. This was a thoughtful gesture and made Charles feel appreciated.
However, Charles saw through this gesture. He preferred to keep his journey secret. Thus, he replied, "This trip could take from a year and a half to as long as ten or more years. In the meantime, continue searching for experts in gene research. Otherwise, when I return, you'll need to come see me yourself."
After giving his instructions, Charles drove away.
Charles's departure wasn't concealed. After he left Mansion, news of his exit reached the Hand.
Having successfully conquered the underground forces in Africa, Charles had remained at the Mansion, making it impossible for the Hand to assassinate him due to the mansion's tight security.
The Hand had been waiting for this moment. With Charles alone, they began their operation to intercept and kill him 30 kilometers from the mansion, intending to demonstrate that their reputation was more than just words.
