Chapter 307 Tony's Doubts
Vision, Wanda's companion in the original work, is an artificial life form whose body is composed of carbon-based biological cells combined with vibranium. The Mind Stone serves as a power source and maintains its consciousness.
To be honest, the difference between synthetic humans and Vision is that the complexity of the matrix does not reach human levels and requires an external energy supply. While the body may not contain vibranium, they are not fundamentally different; they are both artificial life forms.
He didn't expect Vision to be created in this state, but Harry didn't mind helping Wanda start a family; in fact, he was happy to do so.
The upper limit of chaos magic is extraordinarily high. If Wanda can truly reach that level, she can almost be considered a god.
A real "god" cannot integrate into human society.
Providing her with a normal family can help her think and act more like a person, giving her someone she can communicate with. Without the Mind Stone, the tragedy between Wanda and Vision should be avoided.
Pietro is alive, and Vision is alive. Wanda is unlikely to become despondent and suddenly go insane. She can gradually find a way to study chaos magic peacefully and stably .
Watching the Maximoff siblings leave and feeling the chaotic magic lingering in the air, Harry couldn't help but sigh:
Fortunately, magic is understandable here.
The spacecraft was disassembled bit by bit; Vision's incomplete core was placed on the transport plane, and the mutated riflemen and the scene were cleared.
When Tony arrived at the scene, the area had been scorched bare, with only a lone spacecraft remaining in the middle of the open space. Osborne and the team members were making final records.
Clearly, he already knew about the battleship, and he said:
"You're working on 'nuclear weapons.'"
"That's not difficult." Harry spread his hands. As a proven technical path, if controls are relaxed, many countries could replicate nuclear weapons.
"You know what I mean."
Is nuclear weaponry difficult? It is not. The key is that it is controlled. Ordinary countries must be cautious and monitored even when building a nuclear power plant. The proliferation of weapons-grade nuclear triggers is something no nation wishes to see.
In addition to fearing that some lunatic will master this kind of power, nuclear-armed countries do not want more people to possess such deterrence, and non-nuclear-weapon countries do not want another person who might assert dominance over them. Therefore, this is an order.
Another implication from Tony is that the Osborne Group is no longer subject to the supervision and control of all countries on Earth.
Harry said nonchalantly: "Remember the fleet on the other side of the wormhole?"
Tony paused after hearing this and then said, "You've hit the point. Okay, let's talk about something else—"
How much have you concealed? How far have you come? How did you accomplish this?
"Tony, the method is the same—Project Olympus is for the advancement of all mankind, but the Osborne Group has fewer considerations and can move more quickly."
As he spoke, Harry pointed to the employees working not far away.
"You're correct that the synthetics are an excellent workforce, perfectly suited to development needs with a customized initial setup.
However, they are humanoid life forms and will always grow. Within my company, a synthetic person can only leave if they have completed the specified workload, and if they desire to leave.
You see, once humans and synths coexist harmoniously, this really shouldn't happen."
"Why did he leave? Like a homeless person with nothing to do?" Tony didn't fully understand. "He left; what will happen to his job?"
"Of course, it's about reproducing a synthetic human—it may be somewhat challenging to regenerate a human, but there's no difficulty in producing a synthetic human."
"Produce another? This doesn't seem like the most efficient option—so you're just solving the labor shortage? But that doesn't make sense. Where do you get so much production capacity?"
The Osborne Group's production capacity has not reached national levels, which is the fundamental reason why Tony and other countries have subconsciously ignored the development of the Osborne Group.
As a world-class giant, all countries are closely monitoring the Osborne Group, and they have to evaluate the company multiple times a day. Clearly, the Osborne Group does not possess this ability.
In accordance with Norman's requirements, Stark produced 150000 synthetic humans and deployed them accurately across various fields, thereby stabilizing and revitalizing the U.S. economy.
But it is still a country after all. The Osborne Group has a wide range of businesses and is the largest enterprise in the history of Earth. However, it is still far from being a truly big nation.
According to conservative estimates from the outside world, the profits of the Osborne Group are about 1-1.8 trillion dollars a year, which is indeed substantial, even higher than the annual fiscal revenue of most countries.
But with this limited amount of money and this limited production capacity, how can we construct such a warship? It's not realistic.
Unless the Osborne Group builds a planet outside and operates it according to national standards.
Thinking of this, Tony suddenly recalled that Harry seemed to have mentioned the "hyperlight engine"...
Noticing Tony's changing expression, Harry smiled: "Kepler 22b, an ocean planet, very suitable for human habitation—of course, I am referring to enhanced humans and synthetic humans.
As for the "idle" homeless people you mentioned, there are indeed many out there—but it's not a big deal to allocate some production capacity to support them. They may have nothing to do for the time being, but their past, future, and descendants may not be so. In the long run, this is sustainable."
Within the Osborne Group, resources are allocated entirely in accordance with Oycle's deployment. At least in the production of consumer goods, there is absolutely no shortage of production capacity.
On the contrary, due to personal issues, some employees may prefer certain industrial productions with abundant production capacity. To be honest, this is entirely unnecessary, but some engineering inventions happen to come from them.
At the same time, in fields like scientific research and cultural industries, where the output is less obvious, are they allowed to starve if they don't enter the factory? Of course not. After all, the production capacity is abundant, and it is not difficult to provide for them.
Utilizing some production capacity to ensure that everyone can live a normal life and maintain social stability is essential. Those who do not directly produce may also have "unexpected" contributions.
Judging from the current development of the company, this is much better than "pouring milk" and other methods of handling excess production capacity. This approach has been proven feasible on Kepler 22b.
In fact, this method is more suitable on Earth: this is the center of the universe, and the birth rate of extraordinary individuals is exceptionally high. Controlling the social environment and public opinion fosters an environment where they work for the company, either consciously or unconsciously.
And it all relies on the "synth bonus."
Synths are a near-perfect advanced labor force. With a little training, they can qualify for almost all engineering positions. The key to maintaining this stability is simply to grant them freedom when they desire it.
Anyway, they always have to choose a kind of labor. Even if they are fatigued, it is not a burden to support them for a while. The production capacity is far too great to exhaust.
As for the vacant positions, new synthetics will be produced to fill them.
Moreover, virtually all laws applicable to humans can also apply to them.
Harry has taken over the development of synthetic humans twice in a row. It turned out that this was not reliable. Not only did development not accelerate, but Ultron was also created.
"Regardless, the follow-up work on the synthetic humans is up to me."
This task ultimately had to be undertaken by himself, and it was almost time for Norman to be "promoted."
After hearing this, Tony stroked his chin in thought, not raising any objections.
Facts have proven that this matter may only be entrusted to Harry—the Osborne Group successfully established an alien colony using synthetic humans, but a synthetic rebellion was nearly sparked on Earth.
The spaceship has been completely dismantled. The design of this craft lacks highlights. It was entirely made by Ultron using the backward technology of S.W.O.R.D. The only noteworthy aspect is the stealth technology on the spacecraft, which can almost completely shield electromagnetic wave detection.
If the spacecraft Ultron was aboard hadn't utilized the Osborn hyperdrive engine David provided him, it wouldn't have been so easy for him to locate.
The most important hyperdrive technology comes from the Osborne Group, which has now been entirely dismantled.
Tony is no longer fixated on the issue of social development—while he is an entrepreneur with resources, judging from the extraterrestrial colonial planet society described by Harry, he is indeed not as adept as Harry.
In his view, Harry was not a bad person, so it was better to trust his friend in this regard.
"So this is the hyperdrive? What technology is used? Warp speed? Jump? Hyperspace? Which one is feasible?" Tony immediately shifted the topic, his interest piqued by technology.
"Hyperspace." Hyperspace is more cost-effective, and David can only obtain this technology.
"So what seems to require luck is actually the easiest to achieve? You don't mind if I take it and study it, right?"
Harry nodded indifferently: "Yes, but don't sell it. Also, any related experiments and production must be reported."
Tony was a bit displeased when he heard this and said, "The law does not stipulate this."
"Believe me, this law will be established soon—this is for safety reasons, and this is not some mechanical prosthetic called 'Iron Man.'"

Chapter 308 The Significance of the Federation
New York, Manhattan, United Nations Headquarters.
"Everyone, we meet again. How have you been lately?"
Every time Harry met with members of the United Nations, the situation evolved. At first, Harry stood in the center, subject to the scrutiny of various countries; later, he became their equal. Now, in the conference hall, each representative stood in a group, all waiting for Harry to speak - only Norman looked at Harry and smiled. The other representatives were silent.
Can you still laugh? We can't laugh.
At the beginning of the meeting, a representative asked, "Mr. Osborn, we would like to know what weapon you used to destroy the intelligent machine Ultron a week ago?"
The holographic projector in the center changed, displaying the "Entrepreneurship" - it was time to showcase arms.
"The Durter-class battleship 'Entrepreneurship' belongs to the Osborn Group's second deep space fleet, the 'Lancer Fleet'. It is 7,900 meters long, 560 meters wide, and 330 meters tall. It can accommodate 5,000 crew members.
As for the weapon, it uses a gigabit electromagnetic rail gun. The shell is equipped with a small nuclear pulse thruster and has a ballistic adjustment function. The warhead weighs about 4 tons."
Harry did not intend to elaborate on more detailed accuracy data. It was possible to hit a target more than 200 meters away after 100 kilometers. As for the limit, let them guess.
The "Second Deep Space Fleet" is what really caught their attention: there is a Second Fleet, which means there is also a First Fleet.
Of course, it could be a cover, and there might actually be only one fleet - but even if there was only one, it was enough for them.
To maintain appearances, Harry had the Kepler 22 star base expedite the production of a batch of cruisers and destroyers. Within a week, 30 star navy ships of various sizes had been assembled in Earth's orbit.
Even in space, the tactic of gathering the fleet and talking again worked well. For a while, the only sound in the conference room was the flipping of documents by representatives from various countries.
Ultron was a thing of the past; no one cared about that robot anymore.
"Since you all have nothing to say, let me speak - I think we should build a better Earth. The era of fighting each other is over. The birth of Ultron stemmed from this sense of confrontation."
In fact, the birth of Ultron is a complicated issue, but Hayward's research funds did come from various countries, and the sense of confrontation played a large part. If Harry guessed correctly, there was probably some extraterrestrial involvement as well.
But the top priority is taking care of the planet.
"We can start with trade: the energy-credit system has worked very well in the past few years, and I think it's time to use this as a cornerstone to define trade standardization more deeply..."
As the first step for Earth Connect, Harry wants to completely change the currency system, starting with trade.
The energy-credit point system, or the energy currency system, was a tacit energy trading rule in the past, but the legal status of currency is still higher than the credit points dominated by the Osborn Group.
By further improving the authority and effectiveness of the energy currency system and truly standardizing trade, the circulation of various commodities can be better controlled, and one's control over the Earth can be further strengthened.
When the representatives heard this, they all frowned: they had agreed to use credits to trade energy a few years ago because it diluted the status of the US dollar, which everyone would like to see to undermine the most powerful country.
But no one expected that in just a few years, the Osborn Group would reach this point. Even if they were told a few years ago that a company would start to dominate them in a few years, they wouldn't have believed it.
Companies...they are supposed to be small, organized production units in society, instinctively pursuing more profits to survive, and now they want to dominate trade rules? Isn't this a mess?
"Objection, how can a company dominate trade rules? Isn't it both a referee and an athlete? This is unreasonable - the Osborn Group should be subject to an antitrust investigation!" a representative immediately raised objections.
Seeing this, Harry smiled: "Actually, it's not just trade rules, but also the individual status of special members such as synthetics, communication, transportation standardization, military integration, etc.
But if you don't want to, I won't force you."
He could find someone who would.
After speaking, Harry faced Norman and said in front of everyone:
"In order to better develop and resist outer space threats, I hope to work with the United States to establish a solar system federation and achieve closer cooperation in trade, military, communications, and other aspects."
If you are unwilling to accept the conditions, then I will find someone else.
At this time, everyone's eyes turned to Norman: Will he accept this proposal?
The answer is: Yes, of course, Norman would agree, and that's the next step.
Norman immediately stood up and said in front of everyone: "The American people are happy to achieve closer cooperation with the Osborn Group. As always, the Osborn Group and the United States have a relationship of mutual achievement."
Federation of the United States and the Osborn Group? Their peculiar structure aside, these two joining forces would make things very difficult for everyone else!
Even if the remaining countries banded together, they would still be far from reaching the strength of this "Solar System Federation"!
Even the UNSC, once the Osborn Group cancels supply and withdraws from the game, will be left with just a group of high-tech army soldiers, and some space engineering ships at most, which will basically exist in name only.
Based on the current strength displayed by the Osborn Group, once the two forces complete the alliance, Norman will definitely bring a large number of followers. Whoever doesn't join will be foolish.
With just one test, a somewhat frightening new international organization seemed to have been negotiated, catching everyone by surprise - the Osborn Group did not even negotiate with them!
"Wait a minute - I think this matter can be discussed. The Osborn Group is a pioneer in human space development, and I think they have the ability!" the Secretary-General of the United Nations said hurriedly when he saw the situation was escalating.
Harry shrugged and motioned for him to continue.
The Secretary-General took a deep breath and glanced around at everyone present.
To be honest, at this point, their ideas no longer matter: legions of super soldiers, star battleships, possible hyperdrives, and alien colonies...
Nuclear weapons are a deterrent, but only effective against species that have not made the leap into space.
For interstellar species, this is a joke; they have no choice.
"I think this proposal is very reasonable. Standardization is conducive to promoting globalization and world peace..." At this point, the Secretary-General paused again and looked at Norman in his seat and Harry in the center.
"...it's just whether we should consider the other companies in the market..."
The Secretary-General's thoughts were those of everyone present:
You have to give other companies and the "national capital" of various countries a way to survive, right? Is it time to talk about self-control?
But they don't seem to have realized yet: the Osborn Group is no longer an "ordinary enterprise".
Harry sighed when he saw this and looked at Norman: "Beggar-thy-neighbor competitive devaluation and individual trade protection policies eventually led to World War II. The Solar System Federation was established for the better development of Earth..."
"And if goods and services cannot flow freely, then the Federation deserves nothing. Do you understand, everyone?"
In other words, it would be an insult to the Osborn Group if their outdated goods and services could continue to circulate in the market.
"...In the end, believe me, everyone, the Osborn Group is the one best suited to lead."
Interstellar technology has changed everything, and they have no negotiating power.
This is evolution. If you resist evolution, you accept elimination.

Chapter 309 The Dignity of Ordinary People
In the movie, starting in 2012, Earth has experienced several waves of alien invasions from different places, and even several super-light-speed methods have been used: wormhole travel, hyperspace, the convergence of nine celestial bodies, and hyperspace navigation. However, they never considered going into space themselves.
In addition to these technologies that can change everything, there is also advanced AI, a technology that can profoundly change the social structure and provide an endless supply of high-quality labor, almost as if it grows from the soil. Yet, they have not thought about putting it into production.
Instead, Vision's body was recycled and used for weaponization research. In the end, a white Vision was created. The whole process was like electrifying a useless thing...
As a result, for more than ten years, wars have continued on Earth, and the confrontations have not weakened
In other words, whether it is a hyperdrive or an advanced AI, all high technologies have only one meaning in their eyes: war.
It is simply a historical necessity that these natives can create Ultron. Harry ignored this, but from now on, he will make the Earth Alliance a vassal of the Osborn Group. To this end, the United Nations must be formed by virtual reality.
In any case, the United Nations was established by various countries after World War II. It is an organization that is nominally for world peace and is very suitable for support.
The first and most important step is to integrate the WTO and then enhance its trade standardization function.
In the end, the United Nations succumbed to the power of the Osborn Group and chose to compromise. The meeting ended in silence. They needed time to digest and think about the changes this matter would bring.
It doesn't matter whether they really compromise - people will feel a sense of fear when looking at Earth from outer space and desperately want to return.
But the employees of the Osborn Group have proven that it is just a fear derived from the weakness and ignorance of a species that cannot leave its home planet.
Break free from the shackles of gravity and overcome the limitations of distance. The sea of stars is vast and everyone yearns for it.
"Have you ever dreamed of working on the front lines of space? Are you looking for a paradise? Do you have the courage and determination? Then come to Kepler 22b! Abundance awaits you among the stars!
This colony is owned and operated by the best company on Earth - the Osborn Group. Colonists are guaranteed employment. Play to your strengths and enjoy a productive life!"
Overnight, the current status of Kepler 22b was broadcast on all TVs: modern services that are above the average for the planet, excellent food, secure housing, a rich social life... it is paradise.
In front of the Kepler 22b colony, the Mayflower colony on Mars looks extremely bitter.
The climate of Mars is indeed recovering, but it will still take time to become a livable planet with a magnetic field and oceans like Earth. Colonizing Mars has inspired people, but the harsh environment can still dissuade more than 90% of them. People will colonize space as an employment option.
And Kepler 22b is simply paradise.
And these are not the key; the key is that the distance between Kepler 22b and Earth is more than 600 light years!
The hyperdrive has indeed changed everything, allowing people to look beyond Earth. Even though the universe is silent and cold, now they have the means to explore and move towards their ideal utopia.
"...You plan to sell hyperdrive to private individuals? I don't think that's right."
To Harry's expectation, Nick Fury, whom he had not seen for a long time, came to the door. The changes in the world made him more and more uneasy.
But the first words he spoke were not so unexpected to Harry.
"The fact is that you don't need to think it's true; people are craving an adventure that might lead them to utopia."
Harry disagreed with Fury's views. In fact, this was just the beginning.
After thinking for a while, Harry took out a peculiar hand-held scanner.
"If I said this was just the beginning, would you faint from fear on the spot?"
As he spoke, the scanner emitted a strange light, and a table that was more than one meter high and three meters wide shrank to the size of a palm.
"...Ant-Man? What do you want to do?"
Harry said speechlessly: "This isn't called Ant-Man - it's a hand-held object shrinker.?"
"The Osborn Group has established a complete set of transportation standards within the company. The cornerstone is this little thing. With this thing, logistics efficiency has been improved hundreds or thousands of times."
With that said, Harry "fired a shot" at Fury, scaring the king of secret agents who quickly covered his eyes.
Seeing Fury's look, Harry smiled: "You see, it's not effective on people - as long as it is improved with care, this technology can benefit the entire society."
Of course, in a sense, using this magical particle for logistics is overkill.
But until the researcher really understands how this thing works, he can only "use the most advanced technology to do the most basic work."
Fury glared at Harry angrily. To be honest, Harry sometimes felt that he was a little too easygoing? This one-eyed black baldie doesn't have the confidence to glare at the President of the United States, but he has the confidence to glare at himself?
"So what exactly do you want to say? Are you complaining that I use these things to improve people's livelihood and help society progress?"
Fury said nothing, but his eyes showed that he really thought so.
Powered exoskeletons, ctOS and Bellweiser prediction systems, virtual reality, genetic modification, Pym particles, nuclear reactors, artificial intelligent life, hyperdrive...
It's not that he doesn't understand or have many things, but he thinks that these things should be kept strictly guarded, especially not expanded.
"Ordinary people don't know how to distinguish between good and bad things. We should protect them, not give them weapons!"
Hearing this, Harry felt a little bit dumbfounded:
"So? We should cover up these technologies and watch social development stagnate, fighting each other with weapons in the quagmire called 'resource shortage', eager to bite off a piece of flesh from other people to survive until tomorrow?
Then when faced with a crisis, place all your hopes on a small group of people and kneel on the ground to pray without dignity?
Let me tell you: in New York, London, Tokyo, Tanzania, and even aliens, the people who solve the problem have always been the Osborn Group, and those you think are 'ordinary' people,
They are another group of ordinary people born from ordinary people, wearing armor made by ordinary people, undergoing genetic modification surgery by ordinary people, using weapons made by ordinary people, standing on a battlefield that you think is extraordinary.
Maybe they will die, but ordinary people in this real world are much more dignified than the world you imagine."
As Harry spoke, he walked up to Fury, looked down at him, and said:
"I am not a substitute for your Avengers team, nor am I a lost superhero. I don't need your pretentious approval or so-called guidance.
But you should do what I say."
Fury stood there, looking into Harry's eyes, as if he had received a heavy hammer on his chest, almost suffocating him.
"Now, find all your alien friends before I declare them an illegal invasion."
-----
Chapter 310: Fake Fury
Nick's alien friends are naturally the Skrulls hiding on Earth.
The United Nations accepted Harry's proposal. Regarding the future of the United Nations, Norman will coordinate more detailed ideas, such as what kind of system this unified government will be. At present, it seems that this will be a parliamentary government.
But there is still one thing that remains unclear about the Ultron incident:
How could the four countries reach this level of tacit understanding regarding S.W.O.R.D.'s Tyler Hayward studying synthetic human corpses and developing intelligent weapons? Not a single whistleblower?
After investigation, the whole thing seemed very confusing: A said that B, C, and D were already in it when he joined, B said that A, C, and D were already in it when he joined, and the same was true for C and D...
It sounds like the initiator has played a Ponzi scheme. And here's the problem: Except for Russia, other countries don't seem to be willing to take the initiative to engage in such small tricks. However, after Russia was harmed by the Red Room, there has been no internal response. After adjusting, it doesn't have the ability.
How powerful is the persuasiveness required to exploit the suspicion and wariness between countries to this extent and then complete this scam?
There is indeed such a "race" on Earth, which has extraordinary "espionage capabilities" and has a close relationship with S.W.O.R.D.
That was the Skrulls who were maimed by the Kree decades ago.
In Harry's impression, the Skrulls in the MCU are a vulnerable group. Although they were once a powerful empire, they were completely defeated by the Kree. In the end, a group of Skrulls escaped to Earth.
At that time, Captain Marvel Carol was still a warrior of the Kree Empire, tracking them all the way back to Earth.
After getting acquainted with Carol, Carol regained her memory and got rid of the brainwashing of the Supreme Intelligence. The two parties reconciled, and Carol also promised to find them a new home.
Some details were not revealed in the movie, but Harry confirmed one thing in the Nova Empire's intelligence: the Skrulls were indeed a large empire with religious beliefs.
In other words, the setting of the Skrull Empire is actually similar to that in the comics, so there is a problem: the supreme leader of the Skrull Empire is the Queen, and the Talos couple in the movie obviously do not look like those in power.
Even this group of refugees can escape, where is their queen?
On the other side, until now, Fury still couldn't figure out one thing: How did Harry know about the existence of the Skrulls?
Under Harry's gaze, Fury's aura weakened a bit. He may be a character with faith and perseverance, but these words just now made him sober up a lot:
There is a huge disparity in status between him and Harry Osborn. Now, all countries on Earth have been forced by the Osborn Group to ask the United Nations to promulgate international laws. No matter what capacity he stands here, he can only be the subordinate of the other party.
Not to mention that he doesn't even have a legal identity now.
It's just that he can't always turn around: after all, he is secretly the initiator of the Avengers project, helping and guiding superheroes like Tony Stark. When facing Harry, who is in his 20s, he always feels that the other person is the same thing.
But is Nick Fury really such a slow person?
Seeing that Fury finally adjusted his position, Harry smiled and patted him on the shoulder:
"Look, we can still come to an agreement - never deny that you have alien friends on Earth, Skrulls, right?"
As he spoke, the room seemed to have transformed into a living machine. It was an office space just now, and now it has become a private restaurant, with a simple meal delivered by drone.
Harry sat on the chair and motioned for Fury to sit down and talk.
Fury said: "...They have no ill intentions. The Skrulls have lost their homeland and are just living on Earth temporarily..."
"Temporary stay? If they have no malicious intent, they should contact the legitimate authorities on Earth instead of operating in secret and following a former S.H.I.E.L.D. director who has no legal identity.
Also, have you lost your mind? I don't know what kind of deep friendship you have with them, but a group of aliens who can change their identities and even their genes at will - you just let them wander around Earth? "
The Skrulls are natural spies, and their perverted mimicry abilities determine that they are natural conspiracy planners.
If they really have something bad in mind, it will be too late by the time they find out.
Furthermore, the inhumans had all accepted official control and had their identities registered with the United Nations, so Harry had no reason to treat them special.
After all, they were a group of aliens, but Harry didn't remember that the Earth had signed an immigration agreement with them.
And Captain Marvel said that she would help these Skrulls find a new home, but you, Nick Fury, took in a group of Skrulls to do special work on Earth? As long as any earthly government knows that you are doing this, it will classify you as a terrorist in its heart.
Seeing Harry's resolute attitude, Fury changed his perspective: "The Kree are chasing them. If their location is exposed, Earth is likely to suffer disaster."
This reason seems to be the same thing, but when you think about it carefully, it is even weirder: the people on Earth never said they wanted to wade into this muddy water!
The Skrull is like a character who is being hunted. Now he is secretly hiding in your house and stealing your things. After being caught, he said, "I hid myself to protect you." Isn't this nonsense?
Moreover, the Kree do not have an intelligence agency on Earth, and this is a remote and remote place. No one cares about this place, and the news cannot spread at all.
Simply put, Fury's logic doesn't hold up very well, and his reasons for hiding the Skrulls are very far-fetched.
But Harry nodded slightly: "What you said makes sense, but the source of funds behind the S.W.O.R.D.'s intelligent weapons research project this time is very strange."
Under Harry's deliberate control, the atmosphere relaxed a lot - the meeting seemed to have turned into a dinner party, and the tension caused by the declaration a few minutes ago was relieved.
"S.W.O.R.D.'s funds come from several other countries. Hayward bypassed Rambo and contacted them directly - do you suspect that there are Skrulls secretly controlling it?"
Harry didn't say anything when he heard this. He just silently picked up a piece of toast that was cut diagonally from the table, as if he planned to talk while eating.
The atmosphere was like two old friends having a conversation.
Seeing this, Fury shrugged and picked up a piece of toast: "I don't know what the Osborn Group's toast tastes like."
Seeing this action, Harry smiled:
"It's not a suspicion, Fury, it's almost a certainty - and who are you anyway?"
The sandwich was about to enter his mouth. When he heard these words, "Fury" in front of him stopped what he was doing - a strange black liquid overflowed from the toast and touched his hand. Feeling the threat, "Fury" hurriedly threw it away. Had toast.
"What is this?"
"'Blackwater'--an adaptive nanobiological weapon."
The black water flows on the floor as if consciously. After long-term contact and use of the psychic scepter, his spiritual power has gradually reached a level that can affect matter. Combined with Lenin's control of electric current, it has an excellent effect on nanobots.
Harry remembered that in the movie, Nick Fury seemed to have left Earth at a certain point in time and ran to space to perform a secret mission. On Earth, he had always been disguised as Talos, a Skrull.
There are different opinions at this time, but Harry remembers one detail: In the Captain Marvel movie, Carol once asked Fury, "What details about him are so weird that the Skrulls will never make them up?"
And that detail is: He will never eat a piece of toast cut diagonally.
Using psychic powers, Harry made "Fury" less vigilant, making the atmosphere of this meeting more like a dinner party, but no matter how relaxed he was, this quirk would not be changed.
The surrounding walls quickly became transparent, and outside, the black muzzles of riflemen and drones were pointed at this place.
"Fury" immediately raised his hands.
"I now formally approach you Skrulls on behalf of the United Nations."
However, for stowaways, the usual process is to detain them first.
----
Chapter 311: Secret Invasion
After mastering the method of controlling this nano-biological weapon, Harry found that it was surprisingly useful.
In less than a second of contact, the weapon bit off a large piece of Skrull's skin. After absorbing part of the gene, the black water became conscious and could communicate.
But Harry wondered what this thing would become after absorbing the Skrull gene. The Thing?
Although in the movie, Nick Fury seemed to have left Earth after Thanos invaded, Harry clearly remembered that when Ultron was born and the Hulk was rampaging in the city, the Avengers could only hide at Hawkeye's home, where Fury himself made toast.
Therefore, the Skrulls probably did not leave Earth after Thanos' invasion; instead, a group of them has remained on Earth for decades.
"I want to know how I was exposed?" In the interrogation room, Talos had reverted to his original form.
After being discovered, he was subdued, though stronger than an ordinary human.
In front of him, a pool of surging black water appeared.
"The power of science. So, do you have anything to add about Tyler Hayward's Ultron program?"
"I told you, we are just refugees - at most, we help Nick with some work. We mean no harm."
Harry regarded this rhetoric as nonsense. It wasn't a question of malice. Allowing a race like the Skrulls to integrate into society was foolish.
For example, when they first invaded, the Skrulls could mimic appearances but couldn't fully reproduce the quirks and habits of Earthlings. They could only reproduce short-term memories.
But if you let them live on Earth for years, once they learned social engineering methods, they would be uncontrollable.
"And I also said that if you are just refugees, the Earth can accept you, but you must register and accept the management of Earth—in addition, I know more about the Kree than you do. A month ago, my fleet defeated Ronan's army on Xandar."
"You? Defeated Ronan?" Talos's expression finally changed.
To be honest, he always thought Harry's attitude toward them was just the paranoia of a superior. Like Fury, he believed Earthlings were incapable of handling space affairs.
"Answer my question: How far have you infiltrated Earth? Which Skrulls are still on Earth and what identities are they using?"
Talos hesitated. Until he knew more, he felt he still had to obey Fury's orders.
Since they were special operatives, they couldn't be hired just by asking.
But if, as Harry said, people on Earth already had the ability to go into space, should they stop hiding? Contact Earthlings openly?
At this time, Oycle prompted: "Sir, Mr. Nick Fury is accessing the communication."
Glancing at the alien, Harry knew he had to talk to the real Nick Fury—Talos didn't look like someone who could make decisions.
"Tell him to come down from that station and meet me—order the Lancer fleet to target their station."
"That space station" referred to S.W.O.R.D.'s real headquarters, Peak VII.
It was a space station built with alien technology. Thanks to the superb stealth technology of the Skrulls, it could absorb more than 90% of electromagnetic waves, so aerospace agencies worldwide hadn't discovered it.
But no matter what, there was one kind of fluctuation they couldn't hide: gravity, which was the detection basis of the gravity sensor.
.....
Seeing Fury again, Harry noticed he was surprisingly honest.
Harry didn't need to repeat what he said to Talos; Fury had already corrected his position.
Although Fury didn't know how he had locked onto Peak VII, according to the data he published, the space battleship could knock it to pieces with just one shot.
In fact, Harry had always wondered about one thing: the Osborn Group completed all its production processes off-planet so that all the countries on Earth were unaware of its development. But how did Fury do it?
For normal corruption, tens of millions would be a major case, but what about Fury?
There were secret bases worldwide and a giant space station in the sky. The cost must be at least billions or even tens of billions of dollars. Hydra had a long history and rich assets, but Nick Fury's funds could be considered of unknown origin.
And the Earth wasn't aware of it at all?
But it would make sense if the Skrulls had been helping him on Earth.
Therefore, another unstable factor in the realization of the Earth Alliance and global integration was this guy who thought he was protecting the Earth but was actually guilty of unknown origins of huge amounts of property.
Before Fury could speak, a pool of black water penetrated his clothes from the ground—this time it was Nick Fury.
"They are harmless. If you think the Skrulls should be under United Nations supervision, I am willing to help you, but this incident really has nothing to do with them."
Harry knocked on the table. "So you think it's normal for other countries to make this kind of decision? Have you ever thought that not all Skrulls are friendly?"
"...Here's what I'm saying, there is indeed a group of Skrulls eyeing Earth—they might already be here."
Fortunately, the king of agents still had a clear mind. If he had said something that had nothing to do with the Skrulls, Harry might have opened fire on Peak VII right then. To be able to confuse Fury like this, Harry had to suspect some brainwashing technique was used.
Now that his boss was relieved, Talos no longer hid the truth.
The situation was similar to what Harry thought: there were indeed only two groups of refugees who escaped that year. One found Dr. Mar-Vell, and the other was Talos's group.
Originally, Captain Marvel had decided to find them a new home, and Talos agreed, but a few years ago, they received a message—
The message indicated that their queen, Veranke, was still alive!
The information not only contained the queen's condition but also a prophecy: The Earth would accept the rule of the Skrull Empire, allowing the Skrull Empire to return to its peak!
"So some Skrulls listened to this 'prophecy' and planned to infiltrate Earth to welcome the queen."
After hearing this, Harry looked at Fury with a half-smile. "Look, I always thought you were a meticulous king of agents, but I didn't expect you to be so careless in this matter."
Fury's expression was grim. It turned out he was wrong again—going to space was precisely to prevent this kind of thing from happening, but now it seemed that bad things must have happened.
But now it seemed that Earth might really be infiltrated by the Skrulls.
Earth had not yet fully ventured into space, and hundreds of countries were managing their own affairs. The Skrulls could take advantage of this situation to create chaos and suspicion. Once they achieved their goals, it would evolve into a major event like a "secret invasion."
So the focus now was: How could they fight against this race that could transform at will, reverse right and wrong, and turn friends into enemies and enemies into friends?
"Fury, call all your Skrulls back to that space station for registration—and prohibit them from taking on any earthly appearance."
"What are you going to do?"
"Keep your eyes open, Agent King. Things are bad. We've been infiltrated—from now on, all Skrulls who are not on the registry and under control will be considered enemy agents.
What do you think I will do?"
Of course, kill everyone on sight.
------------
Chapter 312: Global Simultaneous Broadcast
If the Skrulls want to maintain their mimicry, there is a key prerequisite: they must replenish their genes every once in a while.
In other words, the person replaced by the Skrull must still be alive.
If they wanted to completely replace someone, they would have to kidnap that person -- and of course, someone like Fury would be able to cooperate.
Across the screen, Talos and Fury began to report the situation.
"Everyone is here, 'Commander of the Earth'." Although Talos' tone was frivolous, his heart was not at peace.
Facing Harry's tough attitude, Talos and Fury couldn't resist at all.
Bringing all the Skrulls back to the station was a move that would completely rob them of the initiative: if Harry fired a shot at them, they would all die.
But Fury was very cooperative in this matter - saving Harry a lot of trouble.
"So are all your people back?"
The two people across the screen looked at each other, and finally Fury spoke first:
"No, 34 people did not return and refused communication."
Harry smiled at this.
As expected, Talos may be a good person, but Talos is not the only Skrull. Just because someone is a good person does not mean that they are all good people. From this perspective, Fury seems to be possessed:
He is the king of agents, and he actually trusts these Skrulls to work under him, and has also infiltrated various power agencies.
As for Talos himself, he actually had issues with Captain Marvel: Carol had killed many of his compatriots before she regained his memory. He could avoid pursuing them in order to survive, but if his subordinates wanted to rebel, this would be a breaking point.
But it's not important to talk about why the Skrulls rebelled now. The important thing is to find them.
"There's one thing I want to confirm first. Can you become a synthetic human?"
The synthetic human brain is a biological computer, but it is not a cloned brain, but a human-like brain "assembled" using protein molecules produced by bioengineering, and equipped with some traditional computer modules.
In other words, there are at most a small number of specialized artificial cells in their brains that are responsible for renewing and producing proteins. These cells themselves do not have the potential to grow and develop into multi-cell or multi-organ advanced organisms, but are only responsible for maintaining the brain.
Strictly speaking, they have DNA, but it is very different from human DNA.
The Skrulls imitate other organisms by reading and ingesting genes, so they probably cannot imitate synthetic humans.
Hearing this, Talos spread his hands with a strange expression:
"...Aren't they robots? How can I imitate a robot? Although we are amazing, we can only imitate carbon-based organisms in the usual sense."
"This is an oversight on my part. My people will give you a tube of synthetic human cells."
They couldn't get synthetic human brain cells without disassembling the synthetic human's brain - this was a good thing, indicating that Talos was indeed not involved in the deconstruction of synthetic humans.
Hearing the words "synthetic human cells", Fury and Talos looked at each other.
That thing actually has cells?
"Besides, I need you to come forward in person." Harry said to Talos.
"I?"
"Yes, even you, you don't want the people on earth to be hostile to the remaining Skrulls after this incident, right?"
Harry needs a living Skrull to convince the other nations.
Moreover, after coming to Earth for so long, the Skrull leader has never really talked to the Earth boss as an alien.
...
"A few days ago, the omnic rebellion launched by the unintelligent robot 'Ultron' has been solved by Osborn Armed Security Company. This incident has once again triggered a discussion about synthetic humans in society-will our creations destroy us?"
WHIH News Frontline is broadcasting a program about this incident.
Due to the reporter's professionalism and fearlessness, he rushed to the scene several times to bring first-hand news to the public. The ratings of this TV program were quite high.
Of course, this is also related to their cooperation with companies under the Osborn Group.
"Before the program begins, let me thank the Osborn Group on behalf of the frontline reporters: thank them for their exoskeleton equipment and transport aircraft."
"Are you serious? Do you have to advertise at this time?" A guest said in an exaggerated tone.
"Seriously, they're the first owner to sponsor something like this for us, thanks to Harry Osborn - let's get down to business, how about starting with you?"
"Okay, first of all, I have to say, we have to keep our distance from the synths and keep an eye on them - you saw that guy named Ultron is actually just a 'man', but he can control an army.
If a group of synths rebelled, wouldn't there have to be many armies?
Secondly, we have the Avengers, they will protect us, we don't need a bunch of cold robots."
Hearing this, another guest couldn't help laughing:
"First of all, the Avengers did take the lead in this incident, but it was not them who really defeated Ultron from the front, but the Osborn Group - which also included synthetic soldiers.
Secondly, the post-mortem investigation has made it very clear: Ultron and synthetics are not the same thing. Ultron is a machine, but synthetics are artificial life forms.
Finally, the purpose of the existence of synthetic humans is not to 'protect' humans, or to act as cows or horses for humans. Humans can protect themselves.
The birth of synthetic humans represents another viable species in our society, and it was created by human hands.
The miracle of Detroit's recovery is proof that synthetic humans can better help the development of this society."
The two then had a heated discussion on this issue. Ever since synthetic humans were introduced into society, related discussions have not stopped.
After Ultron's omnic rebellion, the discussion reached a new peak.
Discussions are not only on TV stations, but also on the Internet--since Harry proposed further trade standardization at the United Nations, Norman's next step has been on communications.
Now, WHIH's official website can be seen all over the world, and such a grand event is extremely popular-you know, such debates would not spread so widely in the past, and everyone has their own public opinion position.
With the hard work of synthetic real-time translators, once different languages enter the network, they will be translated into text that network users can understand.
In the real world, people speaking different languages truly achieve indiscriminate communication on the Internet - the translation accuracy of these synthetic humans exceeds that of any translation AI in the old era, and they can also accurately translate and convert even oral quirks and unique words.
A huge amount of information is exchanged on the Internet, and this data will be aggregated into the mind of a new invisible AI, and its mission is only one:
Promote the development of modern linguistics and strive to eliminate the barriers caused by different languages.
Seeing that the discussion was getting more and more heated, the host suddenly received a phone call.
"...Hey everyone, I have an emergency here that I need to report... It sounds like..."
The host seemed to get stuck mid-sentence, and most people stopped arguing.
What does it sound like?
"It seems...the earth has been invaded by aliens again..."
----------
Chapter 313: Prisoner's Choice
When they saw Talos, the green-skinned, pointed-eared alien, changing back and forth in front of them, the representatives from various countries immediately realized the seriousness of the situation.
Even if a few dozen people are not many, they can replace dozens of people on this Earth, and there are billions of people in the world.
But the key point is that there are many people in this world who can influence the lives of hundreds of millions with just one sentence, and there are definitely not many such people. Even if those key figures are not directly replaced, once the important subordinates of key figures are replaced, the impact will be equally huge.
Similarly, there are important subordinates of important subordinates, important subordinates of important subordinates... In short, this is a cascading process. Society is a precise structure. Without the prophetic advantage, the Skrulls can replace any one of them, gradually becoming the most important piece, easily subverting this society.
Fortunately, the enemies of these key figures are now sitting together - at least they won't misjudge.
"...Then I have a question, how can we be sure that everyone here is not the alien you are talking about?" said a bald representative.
This is indeed a problem, but this is also what Harry has been confirming from the beginning: Through psychic vision, when talking about aliens and seeing the transformation of Talos, everyone was genuinely shocked, not pretending. So at present, these Skrulls have not penetrated this far.
In addition to emotional perception, black water can strip DNA from humans. Although the Skrulls can also copy DNA, under the bite of this biological weapon, the disguised DNA will directly disintegrate instead of being absorbed.
Harry still doesn't know the mechanism of this effect - he is not Mr. Fantastic Reed, and he cannot rub his hands together to create a machine that can identify the Skrulls.
"You've got the point - but I can tell you that no one here has been infiltrated."
"But... how do you prove that you have not been replaced by a Skrull?" Another representative questioned.
This is the most troublesome part: even if you can clearly know that the other person is not a Skrull, the problem is, how do you make others believe you?
Fortunately, the Skrulls can only imitate, but they cannot destroy logic.
"Everyone, now the Lancer fleet will move towards the Arctic ice cap and aim its railgun at that place. You can ask your observation team to see if what I said is true. If you want to see some fireworks, I can also ask the fleet to meet your requirements."
Harry reported a series of coordinates, and then instructed the fleet to make several instructions. Only then did all the countries on Earth believe that he was not an alien pretending to be human.
The logic is simple: if the Skrulls can command such a fleet to wander in orbit, then they can carry out orbital bombing of important cities in various countries and directly paralyze the planet, without any need for infiltration.
"So everyone, the situation is very serious. We can't doubt each other this time - although I am not afraid of nuclear bombs, you should also think about other people, what do you think?"
Harry has dominated this meeting: the power of the Osborn Group is an indisputable fact, and the young owner of the Osborn Group is obviously more experienced in dealing with alien affairs.
Harry was very pleased with the cooperation of all the representatives. It seemed that as long as there was a good life, everyone's acceptance was still very high.
"The good news is that from now on, we don't have to worry about a nuclear war breaking out." Harry shrugged.
"I will be revealing the news about the Skrulls on Earth on the WHIH News Frontline program starting soon, so I hope you can all broadcast it simultaneously at home."
Harry's first request left everyone here confused: if the other party is an alien, will directly disclosing it cause society to panic?
Imagine that the people around you may have been replaced without knowing it. The person who was talking to you just now may turn around and become an alien who wants to occupy the Earth...
Harry continued:
"The number of this group of aliens is not large, and the impact they can actually have is very limited unless they replace important people, so they will definitely look for opportunities to replace high-level people."
This is determined by the power difference and strategic purpose between the two sides. The number of Skrulls is very small, and their purpose is to colonize or control the Earth. Considering that their only advantage is the ability to mimic, once exposed, they will not be satisfied with mimicking ordinary people but will definitely choose to imitate the upper-class person as much as possible.
"So shouldn't we stop this from happening?"
"No, we are going to facilitate this situation - Mr. Talos told me that they cannot transform into synthetic humans. I will send several synthetic humans to take charge of your security."
It's said to be security, but it's actually a thief replacing a prince.
Since the Skrulls cannot kill the person they replaced, they must kidnap the other party, which is the boss of each country.
As long as their bodies are replaced, the Skrulls will naturally be exposed - and these synthetic humans are produced as combatants, the Skrulls will not be their opponents.
The purpose of disclosing information about the Skrulls is to force them to jump over the wall - this meeting is confidential. The Skrulls have been fooling around with Fury in the past few years. For them, humans are a group of divided races. This concept is not a day old. It can be reversed in two days.
Let the Osborn Group's synths promote or even replace themselves? It's simply impossible, so going straight to the top is still their strategic choice.
And if they choose to continue hiding their identities among ordinary people... their impact on society will be close to none.
Of course, Harry will still find a way to kill them. This is a good opportunity to help the synthesizers integrate into society-when you can't trust anyone else, you can still trust the synthesizers of the Osborn Group.
Taken together, the influence of the Skrulls on society is actually very limited, and the so-called panic will be eliminated by the synthetic guards patrolling the streets.
The only question is: replacing yourself with a synthetic human... Will the big guys really agree to this?
After all, the replacement of the Skrulls is also a replacement, and the replacement of the Osborn Group's people is also a replacement...
To be honest, this matter has no solution. Even if Norman takes the lead, it will be useless. Suspicion has always been a stubborn disease of Earth society, and this is what the Skrulls take advantage of.
The most critical point of the entire plan is here: even if they agree verbally, any "backup" they do later will lead to the bankruptcy of the confidentiality of the plan, and the Skrulls are likely to gain insight into the plan through other channels.
However... after thinking for a long time, the representatives from various countries nodded solemnly.
Seeing this, Harry breathed a sigh of relief - if his psychic powers couldn't make them believe in him, he might have to use the Psychic Scepter.
But that would be equivalent to controlling their thoughts. To be honest, this could not be considered as persuasion. In Harry's mind, this was the last resort and the worst option.
Maybe they still have an idea in their hearts about building a human community, and Harry's psychic ability amplifies this idea in their hearts that they think is impossible.
In a daze, Harry felt that maybe everyone had imagined a future where the world would no longer be divided and humans could move forward hand in hand.
It's just that when people have experienced so much, at a certain special node, and reached a certain special position, their mentality will always change.
The old world was like a big prisoner's dilemma.
But now, no matter what, they choose to unite.
"Thank you for your support - thank you from the bottom of my heart." Harry bowed slightly sincerely.
---
Inside Osborn's Fortress, all the Avengers were stunned.
Harry invited them to Osborn Stronghold for the first time. This place was really an eye-opener - even for Tony.
It's not just a company here; there are restaurants, residences, supermarkets...
A huge building covering an area of more than 20,000 square meters, but inside, it is like a small town.
But the most shocking thing is the various research institutes. Many of them are transparent, allowing people outside to see the research inside.
"How do you manage so much research at once? How many Frankensteins do you have?"
Within the entire fortress, there is research on everything from space battleship design, hull materials, high-energy lasers to hybrid crop breeding, botany, and zoology.
Most of the researchers have undergone genetic and prosthetic modifications, and they look very intimidating. A giant robotic arm like Dr. Otto's may still be a little exaggerated, but having a data processor on their back and a small implant on their hand is common.
He may be an engineering genius who can create a series of Mark armors. The most powerful nano armor even allows him, a mortal, to collide with Thanos who has Infinity Stones in outer space.
Tony has so many inventions that he can't even remember every one of them, and most of them are military technology and even supervillains.
But the Osborn Group has a total of more than 500 million employees, and more than 90% of them have accepted genetic modification and prosthetic technology. With the help of technology, each of them is an outstanding talent.
Perhaps they are not as talented as scientists supported by fate like Tony and Banner, who have countless inventions and can create super technology with just a few clicks, but each of them is full of passion for what they have and are passionate about creation. This enthusiasm is no less than that of these superheroes.
Maybe someone is only interested in their lame legs, someone is interested in their eyes that were born blind, someone is only interested in the not-so-strong hearts of their elderly parents...
But put together, it creates a powerful creation.
For example, Carlo, this kitten's whole-body transformation technology came from independent research and development projects of various employees of the Osborn Group. It was created by Harry himself after his own research.
Speaking only of its high IQ, animal intelligence surgery first originated from an ordinary person's wonderful idea - after quarreling with his cat hundreds of times, he began to doubt whether his cat could really understand his speech.
In other words, he just wanted his cat to understand how he scolded it.
He applied for funds and related courses through the group's engineer assistance grant and successfully developed the first Meow-to-English translator.
It was a complex project, but everyone was very interested in making the cat understand how they were scolding it. Eventually, a group of like-minded people came together to participate in Dr. Connors's genetic engineering course and studied Dr. Otto's basic principles of neural implants, zoology courses, etc.
In the end, they successfully developed the first set of animal intelligence surgeries, but Dr. Connors would not think of intelligentizing cats, and Dr. Otto obviously preferred his own mechanical claws.
Now, as a member of the first-generation Monster Legion, this ordinary-looking black-footed cat is not necessarily inferior to the super-soldier Captain America from the previous world in combat - if you put aside the series of metaphysical bonuses.
Experience and technology were passed down from generation to generation, eventually forming a complete system, and the Osborn Group entered the era of technological explosion.
If given the choice, people will, of course, only focus on what they like and are interested in. Perhaps looking at it individually, their inventions and ideas are of no benefit to society and are just trivial inventions.
But maybe his interests and another person's interests can collide and combine to create something amazing.
"Thanks to the 'overflow' production capacity, my employees have more time, energy, and resources to do these things. It turns out that cultivating their small 'interests' does not bring down the company. On the contrary, the Osborn Group's technology pool is becoming increasingly abundant."
"Why do I sound like I'm being lectured?" Tony said without changing his face.
"Who knows?" Harry spread his hands, "The research here is not all - to be honest, the New York Company has great limitations and is only reserved for employees on Earth."
In any case, this was still Norman's territory after all. Although the other party didn't mind Harry doing some sideline research, Harry didn't do any sensitive experiments.
Walking through the aisle, Tony discovered a laboratory that seemed to be researching some kind of nanotechnology, and the researcher was Dr. Helen Cho.
"Nanotechnology? It's interesting." Tony fell in love with this technology at a glance.
"Like it? You can get in touch with this doctor - but I have to charge some royalties."
"Patent fee? Is that a gamma laser? Should I also charge some patent fees?" On the other side, Dr. Banner accurately found a small closed dark room and saw the experiments going on inside through the observation window.
The other Avengers like Steve, Natasha, and Hawkeye said nothing - they couldn't understand these things, but Steve was always lamenting, a little nostalgic for the era when he was the most advanced scientific marvel.
However, the technology of that era could not revive the Alzheimer's Peggy Carter. Getting out of bed to catch up on the dance with him was a medical miracle.
Touring all the way, Harry finally brought a group of Avengers to his own floor, which is the highest point in New York - much higher than the Avengers Tower.
"So what the hell are we doing here? Queuing for barbecue? Sightseeing?"
"Watch TV."
Before any of the Avengers could ask questions, Harry played the WHIH News Frontline interview program:
"The earth has been invaded by aliens again. The invaders are a group of...'extremist Skrulls'? What does this mean? Are there still moderate Skrulls?"
After the host finished speaking, the audience here thought this was a small interlude prepared to adjust the atmosphere of the scene: the extremists are responsible for conquering the earth, and the moderates are responsible for clearing the earth, right?
But the next moment, the host said with a surprised look:
"Now...the President, Mr. Norman Osborn, will explain the situation to us."
With that said, Norman appeared on the big screen, and next to him was an alien with green skin, pointed ears, chin, and strange vertical folds.
"People around the world, I'm Norman Osborn and this is Talos, leader of the Skrulls - this is no joke, we've been infiltrated by aliens."
The atmosphere in the room suddenly changed from relaxed to solemn, and they all looked at Harry, waiting for an explanation.
But Harry just gestured for them to keep watching: everything the Avengers needed to know would be revealed on television - and the public would know it.
In front of everyone, Talos transformed into Norman and then back again, causing people to exclaim.
Immediately afterwards, the two people shared science with everyone about the racial habits, special abilities, and weaknesses of the Skrulls in front of the camera.
As they talked, they discussed the cultural customs and hobbies of the Skrulls. Originally, this was an emergency, and everyone remembered the scenes of being invaded by aliens several times, which was not a good thing.
But before the fear could grow, this special speech turned into something like a popular science program. Everyone still listened with interest, but the fear was eliminated a lot.
Fear will make them focus on the content of this speech, but the long and calm process will weaken this fear.
After all, if alien weapons don't hit their heads, not many people will be afraid.
