Chapter 103 - 12

After dealing with Otto's side, Harry rushed straight to the nuclear power plant.

The activation of the Tesseract requires an energy source. In the original book, he chose Stark Tower, so there was no other option.

Now the power of this artificial sun is much more powerful than the one in Stark Tower.

There's just another reason why Loki chose Stark Tower, and that's because Stark Tower is the most ostentatious.

And unfortunately, Osborne Tower is also very ostentatious.

But the nuclear power plant and Osborne Tower are far apart.

Harry just hoped that these idiots wouldn't rush into Osborne's nuclear power plant. If the Battle of New York couldn't start, Harry would suffer a big loss.

Then the phone rang.

"Osborne, aliens seem to be in New York. The governor's phone can't be reached. You have to ask them to start organizing an evacuation now!" The caller was Nick.

"Actually, we are already doing it, but the efficiency is not as high as expected."

After hanging up the phone, Harry called Norman again.

"Father, are the National Guard still blocking the road?"

Harry had asked Norman to mobilize the National Guard.

"There are people blocking the road." Norman's tone was a bit dumbfounding.

To be honest, he wasn't very worried about the lives of these people; he just thought it was a bit funny.

Conspiracy theories about ctOS have had a great influence on the state government and Osborne. Harry's concession seemed to be interpreted as weakness by some people, and some other forces also joined the public opinion war.

As a result, some people even blocked the path of the National Guard, holding signs demanding human rights.

Harry laughed; you just continue to hype, and you will cry later.

Just then, Harry noticed Tony flying back, his long tail flame making it difficult not to notice him.

"NSA and FBI called again, and they asked you to come to the joint office now," Hurley said from the side.

"Don't worry about them. You take the people and evacuate to the underground facility. It looks like aliens have arrived in New York."

"What?"

Hurley's shock was not feigned; it looked like Fury hadn't had time to inform her yet.

Harry patted her shoulder. "The satellite has detected that the top of Stark Tower is emitting a large amount of gamma rays. Something is going to happen. Go and take people to hide in the underground facility."

"New York is going to be very dangerous."

Harry looked up into the air.

"Father, Doctor, Peter, Frank, look at the sky. I don't think I need to remind you that something bad has happened."

A huge beam of light shot out from the top of Stark Tower, and a stargate slowly opened—

Norman was standing in front of the National Guard to appease the unruly people, telling everyone to find a place to hide quickly and not block the road.

When he saw the deep and dark portal in the distance, he stopped talking.

"Say it! Governor Osborne! Keep talking! I want to see what else you can say!" A man remained unyielding.

Someone patted A Man on the shoulder and looked back. The sight in front of him shocked him.

Aliens poured out of the portal like locusts, and blue lasers rained down on the most prosperous cities in the world. However, under the control of ctOS, most people hid except for those who took to the streets to block the roads.

Panic and riots spread among the citizens, and people died every minute of the invasion.

As the portal expanded, the huge Leviathan spacecraft emerged, the Chitauri jumped down, and the war began!

Harry was flying in the sky, looking down at the chaotic streets. Not far away, the Avengers had completed their assembly.

He could have stopped the riot, but he didn't, just for this moment.

An alien invasion would completely change the global order.

"T-Bone, I need you to write a new algorithm to ctOS in the central control. Now we are in a war zone."

After receiving the news from Harry, T-Bone, who had been controlling ctOS, swallowed his saliva.

.....

Standing under Stark Tower, the angry Hulk stopped the huge Chitauri ship with one punch!

Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hulk, and Hawkeye, the first generation Avengers, stood under the Stark Tower.

Six humans against an alien army.

"Give the order, Captain." Looking up at the portal in the sky, Tony's words recognized Captain America's commanding position in the battle.

"Before closing the portal, we have to contain..."

Before Captain America could finish speaking, the howling Chitauri suddenly stopped talking.

Not far away, a man appeared between the buildings on a skateboard aircraft. Facing the menacing Chitauri, he jumped out of the aircraft and slid down the wall instead.

The machine gun in the man's hand sprayed out fire like crazy, and the aircraft around him fired while tearing the surrounding Chitauri into pieces—

"This is..." Captain America stopped giving orders. This man with fierce firepower attracted his attention.

Then, dozens of identical aircraft appeared in the sky, forming a cutting net that easily sliced through the gathering Chitauri!

Not only that, dozens of aircraft fired small rockets at the same time, and green fireworks exploded in the sky, killing a large group of Chitauri in an instant!

Under the explosion, soldiers wearing high-tech combat armor slid and jumped between buildings. Their mobility even outmatched those Chitauri soldiers!

"Shet, boy Osborne is here." Tony seemed relieved. "It looks really cool."

Captain America hesitated: "Osborne? Why do I feel like I'm looking at another group of aliens? Are they enhanced people?"

Black Widow clicked her tongue in surprise: "It seems that Nick's intelligence is lagging behind. Osborne has a lot more things in his hands than he knows."

"So who is that 'boy Osborne'? You guys have been talking about him all the time!" Thor was a little confused.

But his doubts were answered in the next second. In the direction where these soldiers appeared, Harry came into everyone's sight while driving the Green Goblin aircraft, hands folded, casually saluting the Avengers.

Then a huge claw grabbed the edge of the building, and Dr. Otto's head emerged.

"Captain America and Iron Man? That's so cool... and the big green guy?" Peter stood on the wall with his web hanging, waving his hand in the distance.

"Focus, kid. We have to get to that place and close the portal." Dr. Otto tapped Peter on the head with his paw.

This is not over yet. If you listen carefully, you can hear heavy footsteps not far away...

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The power armor troops appeared at the end of the block. Several huge power armors stood at the forefront. Their hands stretched out their load-bearing deformation shields, wrapping the soldiers who were not wearing power armor underneath. This was a mobile fortress!

"Citizens of the State of New York, New York State is now experiencing an alien invasion."

"But don't worry, the National Guard's defense line has been established. Please follow the ctOS guidelines to protect you and your family's safety. The battle will be over soon!"

The working loudspeakers all around sounded, and the people who were still in the war zone looked to the sky.

Norman slowly appeared at the front of the National Guard while riding a flying suit. His combat armor was a little different from others. The green features were obvious, almost the same as in the movie, except for the helmet.

"We will drive these invaders away!"

Norman said, throwing classic pumpkin bombs and throwing knives from his hands!

---

91 Battle of New York

The National Guard immediately set up a defense line. The huge power armors transformed into small bunkers on the streets, and various long guns and short cannons protruded from the shooting ports.

"Fire!" Norman waved his arms high!

Boom!

The sound of massive shelling resounded through the streets, and fireworks seemed to erupt in the sky. The barrage halted the Chitauri advance!

"Captain, is this your first time on the battlefield since your resurrection? You need to reconsider your battle plan." Frank flew over to Captain America.

"We need you to command the National Guard in this theater, using trench tactics!"

As a tactical expert well-versed in various strategies, Captain America certainly understood what trench warfare was, but how could they dig trenches in the city?

"Dig trenches in the city? I don't think this is—" Before Captain America could finish speaking, super-heavy powered armor rushed out from the street not far away.

These powered armors extended their armor plates like Transformers. The thick armor plates surrounded them and formed a small bunker. Not only that, this small bunker could also move slowly.

Each bunker power armor represented a fortification team, consisting of machine gunners, engineers, and rocket launchers.

Under the control of ctOS, some gas pipes exploded, preventing more Chitauri from breaching the blockade and providing more materials for trench construction.

The engineers relied on the power of the mechanical exoskeletons to erect ruins from the ground. A strange white adhesive sprayed out from their hands, resembling some kind of spider silk.

After erecting the stones, the engineers took out sandbags from the super-heavy power armor and placed them inside the trench. Then they sprayed the sandbags and stones with the spider silk, and the trench was quickly formed.

It resembled more of a passage than a trench.

Frank tossed AR glasses to the Captain: "ctOS will command the troops to build trenches to cover the evacuation of residents, but the equipment here has been damaged, and we need someone who can command the battle!"

The Avengers exchanged glances, but Cap still put on the glasses. He quickly identified the locations of citizens and where trenches should be built.

"Hey, Captain," Frank called again, "It's been a pleasure fighting alongside you."

After saying that, he flew away. Captain America smiled, feeling as though he had dreamt back to World War II.

Inside a nearby building, a group of citizens trembled in fear.

Before they could see clearly, three Chitauri rushed in!

Seeing the crowd inside, the aliens prepared to draw their weapons. Unexpectedly, in the next moment, more soldiers wearing exoskeletons charged in and dispatched the attackers in a sweeping motion.

After the battle was over, the soldiers exited, and a civilian wearing an exoskeleton walked in.

"ctOS should be broadcasting all the news—oh wait, I forgot, you must be the folks who don't like ctOS. Now move with me; it's not safe here. Are there any injured who can't walk easily?"

"Wait a minute, how do I know what you're saying is true? Isn't it more dangerous outside?" someone questioned loudly, refusing to believe ctOS.

The young man displayed a helpless expression. "Are you serious? Fine, you're free to follow me."

Everyone exchanged glances, but soon they set aside their prejudices.

"There are a few wounded people here. You alone may not be able to—" Before he could finish, more individuals wearing civilian exoskeletons entered. "That should be enough."

After stepping out of the building, they found the outside had transformed into a war zone. Aliens flew overhead, and the young man paused.

"Can we continue walking?" someone asked nervously from behind.

The young man pointed to the red light ahead.

"Waiting at a red light? Are you driving—"

Before he could finish speaking, several Chitauri aircraft suddenly crashed down from the sky. If they ran out directly, they might be caught in the crossfire!

The traffic light turned green, and the young man signaled that everyone could leave.

They were astonished to see deep trenches erected in the streets, with small bunkers that hadn't been there before guarding the perimeter. They could use these covers to move toward the nearest human defense.

Where no one noticed, a Chitauri slowly climbed up from the ground. It seemed that it was not yet dead.

If it got its weapon, it could spell disaster for these civilians...

Boom!

Before it could stand, ctOS spotted the threat and instructed the person in charge of the evacuation to take another shot.

I have to say, the Chitauri really aren't that strong—at least this current batch isn't particularly skilled; after all, they are aliens that can be subdued by Black Widow with a pistol.

A shotgun is more than enough for a final hit.

"...You just killed an alien?" a civilian asked in disbelief.

"Just do a triple shot, they wil die." The young man shrugged. In truth, this was the fourth alien he had taken down.

The only real trouble in this battle came from the Chitauri ships.

The war situation seemed to be under control, but just as everyone cheered, more Chitauri ships emerged through the wormhole...

The ground rumbled and shook as Hulk punched the massive Leviathan spaceship, forcing it to stop!

The tremendous force transmitted from the head of the spacecraft to the tail, shattering sections of the ship's hull into pieces. The scene was extraordinarily spectacular.

Seeing Hulk destroy the Leviathan spaceship with a single punch, Harry felt a twinge of regret that he had not yet fully controlled his abomination.

But now was not the time to unleash his abomination. Public opinion had not yet settled. If he and Hulk fought, it would be troublesome.

"So, this is your plan?" Tony flew next to Harry. To be precise, he passed by him. Harry saw the Leviathan spacecraft trailing behind him from a distance.

"Yeah, it's more realistic than relying on just a few people to turn the tide of battle. Can you stop flying toward me?"

"No, remember, you owe me something."

Tony guided the Leviathan toward Harry and then darted away.

Harry waved his hand, and Osborn's troops immediately slid out from beside him along the tall building, launching rockets and arc stars at the Leviathan spacecraft—

Boom!

Harry didn't even glance at the massive object as it hit the ground just before reaching him.

"Teamwork? Okay." Tony shook his head helplessly. He had just embarrassed himself—his entire body crashed into the Leviathan spacecraft.

Harry hovered in the air, rarely needing to take direct action. He had been directing T-Bone through the communicator to adjust ctOS's commands.

Not far away, Thor was summoning thunder from the top of the Empire State Building. Lenin moved closer as if he sensed something delectable, and the thunder and lightning summoned from the sky spread out in all directions as if they were alive.

Much of the powerful thunder was seized by Lenin!

"Where's my thunder?" Thor felt as though he was generating less energy. He glanced at his hammer and then behind him.

A colossal thunder giant formed in the air. The thunder giant examined its hands curiously and then, using thunder and lightning, grabbed the Leviathan spacecraft as if it were a child's toy, and hurled it back into the wormhole.

"..." Thor fell silent.

"Is that Asgardian witchcraft?" Black Widow sighed from below, while Captain America observed in silence.

The world had become too chaotic, and he could no longer comprehend it.

---

Chapter 92: Nuke

The battle grew more intense by the minute. If there were a total of five Leviathan spacecraft entering Earth in the original story, there must be at least ten now, vastly outnumbering those in the movie in terms of both quantity and quality.

Unlike the original, Black Widow and Captain America did not manage to seize the alien spacecraft!

Black Widow successfully grabbed a Chitauri aircraft, but before she could secure her footing, several more aircraft collided with hers, knocking her off.

The situation was becoming increasingly critical, with the wormhole still expanding. No one, including Harry, knew what lay beyond it.

Judging by the circumstances, it seemed unlikely that the Avengers could close the wormhole in time. Many parts of Manhattan lay in ruins, and half of the Osborn Tower had collapsed.

If the impulse continued to expand, Chitauri space battleships could overwhelm Earth.

Frank and his team were running low on mini-rockets and ammunition, and regular RPGs were ineffective against the Leviathan spacecraft.

Casualties among the National Guard under Norman's command were rising, and the situation was shifting.

Based on the evacuation and damage reports from the combat command channel and ctOS, Harry knew they needed to end this battle.

"We have to close that wormhole!" Captain America shouted to Harry in the sky.

"I know." Harry glanced at Dr. Otto, who was climbing to the top of Stark Tower, escorted by Frank's team.

Peter swung around Doctor Octopus, using his mechanical arms to periodically launch himself away from danger.

"It's great to work as a team! Are we considered a superhero team now?" Peter quipped as he kicked away a Chitauri.

"I'm a researcher, not a superhero. Pay attention, boy!" Dr. Otto responded.

Soon, Dr. Otto, escorted by the team, reached the top of Stark Tower.

"Professor selvig, we need to close the wormhole!" Otto activated the detection instrument and took over the on-site computer. "Did you set up any safety devices or anything like that?"

selvig, snapped out of his daze, responded, "Dr. Otto? Were you arrested too? Wait... what have I done..."

Otto quickly operated the computer. "Doctor, there's a protective shield around the instrument. I need to know how to stop this thing! Where did you get such a terrible energy source?"

The energy from the Space Rubik's Cube was limitless, and its method of opening a wormhole defied any known theory.

"Scepter! Loki's scepter, that might be able to close the wormhole!" Selvig looked down, "It's right there!"

Otto shouted, "Spider-Man!"

Peter threw the scepter up, and Otto's mechanical arms firmly grasped it.

"It's my pleasure to serve you, Doctor!" Peter said, landing next to the Doctor. "Now what?"

The mechanical arm examined the scepter with great interest.

"This scepter contains powerful energy, and... two things that defy scientific laws in one day?" Dr. Otto muttered.

"Harry, I'm in position. We can close the wormhole!"

At that moment, Nick Fury accessed the Avengers' communication channel. "Avengers, a plane carrying a nuclear bomb is flying towards Manhattan!"

It was no surprise to Harry that Hydra would resort to launching nuclear bombs. If the bomb exploded, it would eliminate many threats and cause the U.S. to fall.

Harry doubted they had considered how to handle the wormhole. According to Dr. Otto's observations, nuclear bombs couldn't penetrate the shield around the Cosmic Cube, so they couldn't close the wormhole.

"How many more minutes?" Tony asked.

"Three minutes!"

"I'll handle it. Osborn? There's a nuclear bomb heading in!"

Tony planned to redirect the nuclear bomb into the wormhole using his thrusters.

"Doctor, stabilize the wormhole first. There's a nuclear bomb to deal with!" Harry said as he lodged an electric arc star into the Leviathan spacecraft.

"Looks like we had the same idea?" Tony remarked as he adjusted the missile's flight path. "Jarvis, put all your energy into steering."

The battle had to end. The nuclear bomb was the key.

"Doctor, we'll send the nuclear bomb through, then close the wormhole."

Harry looked at Norman. "Father, we need to handle the nuclear bomb ourselves."

Norman, understanding without needing further explanation, picked up a box. They smiled at each other and chased after the nuclear bomb.

"We both had the same idea. Not enough fuel, right? Looks like I won this round, but I'll pay you back," Tony's voice rang in Harry's ears as they entered the wormhole.

Under the world's watchful eyes, the three of them redirected the nuclear bomb into the wormhole.

Beyond the wormhole was the endless, silent expanse of space. The Chitauri army Harry saw was much larger than in the movie.

In the film, Tony saw only one space carrier, but Harry saw a swarm of warships around it.

No wonder Tony had anxiety attacks. Seeing those troops made Harry feel overwhelmed.

The Chitauri were streaming toward the wormhole. Unlike in the original story, these Chitauri could definitely catch Tony before he fell back through the wormhole.

Harry and Norman each threw their boxes towards the Chitauri army. The boxes split open, attaching strange devices to the nuclear warheads.

Harry thought: I'll give you a bigger one.

"Return!"

Harry carried Tony on his back, and he and Norman flew back towards the closing wormhole.

This was the fastest his heart had raced since he transmigrated. Everything before was near misses, but now, he was truly in another world.

A lifeless, desolate world.

Behind him, a hydrogen bomb exploded--

Even though he knew they would make it back, Harry's heart still pounded wildly.

Whoosh!

After passing through the wormhole, the sound of breaking through the air rang in their ears. They were back!

The whole world cheered!

The Chitauri equipment, now without command, crashed to the streets, and the soldiers began cleaning up the battlefield.

Seeing this, Harry felt a sense of relief: it was time to start the recovery.

[The host has completed First Contact: War]

[Unlocked Technology: Alien Materials Laboratory]

[Scanning, analysis, and reverse engineering will all progressing rapidly.]

Chapter 93: This is America!

"Before we land, I want to know... what did you throw over there?" Tony asked.

"Something to enhance the power of the explosion."

"What?" Tony froze.

That small device contained deuterium and tritium. After research by Norman and Harry, this device could convert an atomic bomb with sufficient yield into a three-phase bomb.

But the truth should remain a secret, otherwise someone will definitely chase Osborne and ask: Why do you want to research nuclear weapons?

The key is that Harry's motivation is really hard to explain, unlike Norman, whose interest is purely scientific.

Back on the ground, Tony received a call from Pepper: "Um...Pepper? I just wanted to talk to you on the phone, but the signal there is not very good... Everything is fine, no problem at all."

After answering the phone, Tony said to Harry: "What about your girlfriend? Won't she give you a call?"

"Working." Harry shrugged.

"Have you ever eaten Arabic barbecue? There is a restaurant about two blocks away. You can bring your friends, and I will bring mine. We can exchange feelings with each other. After all, we are now comrades in arms..."

After Tony was put on the ground, he kept talking to everyone, and the serious Captain America showed a helpless expression.

"The kebab is good, but it's not over yet." Harry pointed to Stark Tower.

Loki needs to be captured, Norman needs to make a statement as soon as possible, and Harry has to intercept the stolen goods.

After capturing Loki, the Avengers went to eat barbecue when it was time to organize search and rescue. Dr. Otto and Silvig held an academic discussion on the rooftop of Stark Tower. Tony also kindly offered his house to the two doctors for their discussion.

Peter stood next to the two doctors, shaking his head as if listening to heavenly scriptures.

The scene was very harmonious.

But Harry knew there was an artifact that would be lost after the war.

Landing on the top floor of Stark Tower, Harry stretched his muscles and wanted to take an elevator.

Super hearing allowed him to hear people inside talking on their phones.

"The evidence is in hand, let's meet up with Dr. Lister." Bald agent Sitwell was on the phone with his immediate boss, Alexander Pierce.

"Nothing stands in the way, Mr. Secretary-General."

Ding.

As soon as he finished speaking, the elevator stopped, and the person outside the elevator was Harry Osborn.

Harry sat directly on the elevator.

"Mr. Osborn? I thought you were going..."

Harry's weight was so heavy that the whole elevator shook when he stepped on it.

"The plan has changed." Holding back his laughter, Harry stood among the agents and forced a serious face.

Compared to how nervous they felt when Captain America stood among them, they felt more confused when Harry stood there.

This rich man has an aircraft that he doesn't need, and a company that he doesn't care about, so he comes to squeeze into the elevator with us?

"The mind scepter, I have reached an agreement with Secretary-General Mr. Pierce, and I will take over the scepter," Harry said.

Sitwell was confused and pretended: "I don't understand, sir. This is impossible."

Several Hydra members put their hands on the handles of their guns.

Harry continued: "Believe me, it is safest to leave it to me. The Secretary-General told me that someone might come and steal this thing."

While talking, Harry used his psychic powers. He wanted these people to be inclined to believe him. Although under normal circumstances, it was difficult for Harry to directly influence others, it still had some effect when the other party was greatly shocked.

Just when Rumlow was about to say something, Harry leaned into Sitwell's ear.

"Long live Hydra."

...

After Sitwell handed over the Mind Scepter, he kept thinking: for a while, Hydra did launch an operation against Osborn's ctOS, and after that, the superiors asked to cooperate with Osborne to promote ctOS.

From this perspective, Osborne may indeed be their man, which is also the first thing they think of.

But then Osborne was oppressed by the major giants, and the above seemed to have an attitude of watching from the sidelines again...

Especially when it came to asking for Abomination, Harry Osborn didn't show a cooperative attitude?

The more everyone thought about it, the more something was wrong. With the intention of reporting to Alexander Pierce, he took out his mobile phone.

But at this moment, strong electromagnetic interference filled the entire corridor, and Frank and his team threw smoke bombs...

"Under attack! We are..." Sitwell wanted to convey the news, but the electronic equipment on his body had become scrap metal...

Frank, who has had his senses enhanced and is wearing a super soldier suit, is almost like Captain America, and the few good brothers who act with him are low-end versions of Captain America. Several soldiers simultaneously turned into smoke demons and Hydra commandos. In an instant, several Captain Americas with different configurations were kidnapped.

Poor Sitwell, the moment he closed his eyes, he was still thinking:

Osborne is really a member of Hydra, the Secretary-General is indeed listening to all directions, and indeed someone is here to steal something!

It's a pity that we are still superior. Hydra is really stable if it has the Osborne Group.

On the other hand, Harry almost laughed out loud the moment he stepped out of the elevator.

"Agent Fury, are you still there? Now do you realize how ridiculous this is?"

What do you do after you steal something from Hydra? Captain America, who has traveled back in time, can also travel back in time, but Harry can't.

Although Harry is becoming more powerful, he needs to find an ally to deal with Hydra.

So the entire process was broadcast live to Nick by Harry.

This ridiculous moment went directly to Nick Fury, the king of secret agents who fell silent.

"My people will kidnap these unlucky guys. You don't need me to teach you how to do the rest, right? And don't forget what I promised you."

Nick's mind was confused.

When Harry said he wanted to live broadcast to him, he didn't know what he meant, but as Harry's actions became more and more outrageous, his mouth opened wider and wider.

"They are not the unlucky ones, I am the unlucky one and the fool," Nick said.

Neither of them mentioned the Mind Scepter, so they defaulted to leaving it to Harry for safekeeping.

Harry's exposed traitors were not just one or two, but an entire team, which means that there may be more Hydra traitors within SHIELD than Nick imagined.

Nick has just been suspended from his job, and this happened again, and he has a headache.

However, there is an advantage to being suspended, that is, Alexander will not suspect that Nick is related to the disappearance of the scepter. After all, Nick's bank card password has been seen through by him, especially Nick's agents.

Now Nick has almost no one he can use, and it is simply nonsense to try to take away the mind scepter quietly.

So Alexander will transfer Nick back to investigate the matter.

As for Nick, of course, he will try his best to delay this matter, using the name of the investigative scepter to investigate the inside of SHIELD for as long as possible.

It could be said to be a mission-impossible mission.

After defrauding the Infinty gems, things on Harry's side were over. On the other side, Tony was leaving with Thor.

Thor planned to take Loki and the Tesseract back to Asgard to accept Odin's trial, but apparently some people didn't think so.

Alexander Pierce approached Thor himself and demanded that Loki be handed over to them.

"Loki cannot be taken away. This must be left to me. I don't care what Odin wants, and the box must be given to me." Alexander bluntly asked Thor to keep Loki. Not only that, he even wanted to keep the Tesseract.

"I'm not sure this is the best thing to do."

----

Chapter 94: We Need Better

Norman glanced at Alexander and walked straight to Thor.

Tony looked at Norman, then at Thor, and said, "This is Norman Osborne, the governor of New York State, equivalent to... well, equivalent to the manager of this land—I mean New York."

Although Thor didn't know what a governor was, he understood the word "manager."

Taking the initiative to shake hands with Norman, Thor said, "I'm sorry that Loki caused a lot of chaos and destruction here, but Loki must be judged by Odin."

Norman wasn't here to take Loki back but to make an agreement.

"As for this criminal, we can hand him over to Asgard. In fact, in this world, there is something called an extradition treaty between countries."

The words "extradition treaty" were unfamiliar to Thor, and he looked at Tony for help.

Tony thought for a moment and said, "It refers to the act of a country transferring people who have been accused or convicted of crimes by other countries in its territory to that country for trial or punishment in accordance with a treaty or other reasons."

Seeing that Thor didn't seem to understand, Tony simplified further: "To put it simply, it is a form of judicial assistance between countries, reaching an agreement, and then handing over the criminals."

At this point, Thor finally understood—it meant that Norman seemed to agree to hand over Loki.

"That's great! I'll take Loki away now..."

"Wait a moment, Mr. Thor, but the extradition treaty exists between two countries that have established diplomatic relations. Asgard was nothing more than a legend to Earth in the past, so there are no diplomatic relations between us."

"But now, you can represent Asgard, and maybe we can sit down and talk about concluding a diplomatic agreement."

Tony immediately understood what Norman meant. After careful consideration, Norman's approach was indeed more appropriate.

However, the only and most critical question is... Isn't Norman just the governor?

"The governor is right. Let's resolve this matter diplomatically. Thor, you won't refuse, right?" Tony said.

In any case, establishing diplomatic relations with Asgard would be a good thing. Earth's civilization is still grounded, but Asgard is different. They have fought many interstellar wars, although Tony still doesn't know how.

"Diplomacy?" Thor was stunned.

As a prince, although more than 90% of Thor's brain was composed of muscles, there were still some places that contained what Frigga taught him.

It's just that diplomacy in the mind of this Asgardian prince seems different from what Norman and other Earthlings think...

Thor laughed and patted Norman and Tony on the shoulders: "Of course!"

Loki, on the side, understood this very well. Without seeing Thor like that, he immediately knew that Thor probably regarded diplomacy as a banquet.

Thor took Loki away, and they would stay on Earth for a while.

"The state government established diplomatic relations with aliens? Governor Norman is really whimsical," Alexander sneered before leaving.

"Governor, although I think you have a good idea, the autonomous prefecture does not seem to have diplomatic rights," Tony raised the question.

Norman smiled and said, "Yes, but there are still simple foreign affairs rights, which allow us to keep him in New York State for reception. As for diplomatic rights, the autonomous state does not have them, but the United States does, and the Earth does."

"You mean..."

"Yes, I want to run in the US election this year. I hope to get the support of the Stark Group. We need allies, but the International Council...you saw their attitude."

Norman's tone was serious.

The main reason for keeping Thor was to instill in him some of Earth's diplomatic concepts and gain some favorability by the way.

After all, Asgard is a serious and developed civilization, and the power gap between Earth and the divine realm can be said to be worlds apart. Fortunately, Asgard has a more protective attitude towards the people on Earth.

It's not that Tony doesn't care about politics. In fact, people come to Stark Industries every year to get Stark's support.

It's just that Tony himself was not very interested in these before, and Obadiah was mostly responsible for handling these relationships.

Now he quickly thought about what Norman said. Although it might be difficult for him to be the president himself, and he didn't really want to be, Norman had an excellent political background, and judging from the actions of the Osbornes, it seemed quite trustworthy.

More importantly, like him, they all saw the alien army and were comrades-in-arms.

"It sounds like it was planned for a long time... As a side note, have you already made plans to run for president this year?" Tony said.

"Going to run for president, yes," Norman admitted.

"Okay, I'll join." Tony shook hands with Norman after thinking again.

With Stark joining the team, Norman's presidential campaign is secure.

After this battle, the global economy, which had begun to improve, will be hit again. The first to recover and lead the economic recovery will definitely be "destined" companies like Stark and Osborne.

"This battle is really destructive."

Harry walked on the streets full of ruins, and various power armors were organizing rescues.

Those huge Leviathan spacecraft almost destroyed all the high-rise buildings in Manhattan, and those land-based Leviathan spacecraft like Godzilla destroyed an entire street.

Especially for several Internet companies and financial companies, it was so miserable. Even the well-hidden servers were burned down due to the abnormal power grid caused by the alien invasion.

It's so miserable. Who told you not to use ctOS? All this could have been stopped.

Lenin emerged from the circuit and danced at Harry's fingertips.

While walking, Harry saw the Arabic barbecue restaurant that Tony was talking about.

Unfortunately, unlike the original story, the barbecue restaurant is now in ruins, and the rescue team has set up a temporary medical center at a nearby subway entrance.

"Looks like the barbecue party has to be canceled." After talking to Norman about running for president, Tony found Harry.

"Why? We can go directly to the Arabian Barbecue, and there will be no alien invasion there."

Tony shrugged: "You are right, but I was negligent."

After speaking, Tony raised his head. There was an oversized Chitauri spacecraft lying on the street not far away.

Not only that, the streets are now filled with these alien relics and even weapons.

"We need to handle these technologies properly." Harry picked up an alien technology gun from the ground. This thing can bring a lot of things to Earth after being reverse-engineered.

In the original story, Tony worked with the government to set up the Damage Control Bureau to deal with these things, but now the control lies with Harry.

Tony said: "You are right, Norman is going to participate in this year's election, right?"

"What? Don't you think my father is suitable for this role? Maybe you should see how much New York has changed since he came to power." Harry said and threw the alien gun aside. "Of course, I'm not talking about the current situation."

Tony held his hands and held his chin, his eyes focused on the remains of the alien weapons and remained silent for a while.

"That system, ctOS, we need it—even better."

The next second, Tony said what Harry wanted to say.

Harry was a little surprised, but he immediately understood what was going on—Tony would suffer from a very serious anxiety disorder after this, and he was afraid.
